Thank you for explaining this so much better than KTuner themselves.
My pleasure. I’m glad you found it helpful 😁👍
Bro I just updated my software this morning and I had no idea what to mess with with all the new features it now has. I did notice that lag when doing a dig. Gonna have to enable that VSA! Great video 💯
Thank you for the positive comment 😁👍. Enjoy the car 😉
Always the great content!!
Thank you very much for your continued support 👍😁
You deserve ALOT more subscribers, great content 👍.
Hey, thank you very much!! I appreciate the positive comment 😁
They are coming.
😁👍
geat content, thank you! will be doing soon
Thank you, Aziz! Glad you’re enjoying the videos 👍
Keep them video coming I’m
Learning a lot from you
I’m new to the performance myself ..I’m
Stock 2.0t I was on stage 2 ktuner then I bought the phearable stage 3 but I’m
Back to stock since I think is too much power for the car on stock components and I don’t want to mess up anything lol
As I learn from u I will find the best options
Thank u keep
Thank you for the support. I’m glad you’re finding the videos informative 👍. I’ve recently purchased the Phearable Stage 3 and will be installing it soon 😁
@@TheLemonFactor love your channel. Oh please report back on the Phearable stage 3. I've been wanting to pull the trigger awhile. Wanna make sure the tune is "safe" first. I wouldn't worry too much on stock components. People are pushing over 400hp and hitting 100k and drag stripping it and all. I wouldn't put even half that abuse on it but I'm confident a pull every now and again will be reliable.
@@TheLemonFactor hell yeah 😎can’t wait u should dyno test it and do 0-60 with the advance vsa most aggressive
👍
Great content. Can you do a how to install a PRL intercooler on the Honda Accord. Thanks.
Thank you for the positive comment!! I do see an upgraded intercooler coming in the future 😉
I just subscribed, very good content.
Thank you for the sub and your positive comment - it’s very much appreciated 👍. Do you currently own a 10th gen Honda Accord?
@@TheLemonFactor I had a 18 touring 2.0. I now own the 21 TLX Aspec and since it’s the same engine I’m sure we’ll be able to boost ours too.
Very nice 👍 congratulations on the new car - how do you like it?
I know your doing this in steps but you really need to consider an appointment with Derek Robinson at IMW. That may be coming later but what he can do with KTuner is amazing! I would really like to see you be the first to put the Civic Type R front diff on an automatic. Already been done on a manual but having posi with more aggressive gearing can REALLY lay the power down. Then add on the type R turbo and now your having some fun! But as long as its a one wheel peeler, traction will always be an issue.
Absolutely! I will be getting a custom tune in the near future 👍😁
The best way to tell if your car is faster is checking MPH in the quarter mile... I raced the 1/4 mile so many times I always told my friends I could tell more about your car and how fast it is by you telling me the miles per hour that it (your 🚗💨) hits in the 1/4mi rather than the time
A cars trap speed is a good indicator of the power the car is producing 👍
I’m confused. Question, so I follow all these steps like advanced vsa and quick adjustments even though after tuning I do not intend to switch off traction control button?
If you do not intend to turn off VSA, then you do NOT have to make any adjustments in KTuner. 👍
Old comment but if your cruise is on its using stock vsa. Cruise off is advanced ktuner
Upper torque mount is needed to stop wheel spin because the engine flex especially with ktunner
👍
Yes wheel hop has honestly made me re think adding more power to this car.
Once it gets going it’s not so bad, but from a standstill 😩
@@TheLemonFactor for sure! But everyone races from a dig. Had an sti with more power and never had this problem. Does the type r have this problem?
Type r has a posi.
@Andres Gonzalez The type R is also difficult to launch, with too much gas/revs you have wheel spin and too little you’re bogging 😠. But it does have an LSD. 👍
👍
How’s the milage looking like? Is it the same or worst?
Relatively the same 👍. If you’re not getting on the gas and boost, then it’s not much different. However, I haven’t done any official testing.
I saw Ktuner said this feature would cause damage of the catted downpipe, is that true?
I’m not sure we’re talking about the same feature 🤔? You might want to double check where you heard / saw that.
You sure you aren't talking about antilag?
Hey man do you know the 0-60 time for the 2021 2.0 sport? Isn’t it in the 5 second range 5.5-5.7?
That’s the range I’ve seen with the 2.0L. Check out caranddrivers long term of their 2018 - they now have it at 5.3 sec 0-60mph 👍
@@TheLemonFactor is the 2018 the same as the 2021 though? I’ve test drove a 2018 2.0 touring and then a 2.0 sport 2021 and I feel they made the throttle response a bit quicker, I saw on car and driver it also mentioned that which I had no clue about
As in the 2021 2.0 sport felt more quicker and responsive
Because Isn’t the 2021 the same exact as the 2018 just besides the 3lb difference
@@TheLemonFactor I can’t find the 0-60 for 5.3 do you have a link?
Where is your front grill from?
It is the Honda OEM optional accessory black chrome. If I had to do it again, I would instead just vinyl wrap the chrome and save a bunch of money. 👍
Did you fully turn off TC?
👍
Spinning ain’t winning!
In this video i understood you said the car felt slower at the beginning and it was because you didn’t change the throttle responsiveness and the VSA control
Did you watch the video? Please watch it as it only pertains to the use of advanced VSA (it does not talk about throttle responsiveness as part of quick enables). The “slower” comment is in regards to the car’s additional horsepower and torque breaking the tires traction so easily that they’re spinning, thus having a difficult time getting the power to the ground from a standstill.
@@TheLemonFactor ok thanks man! Thank you for your time and answers!
No problem. Good luck 👍
The torque mounts changed the car. Upper and lower
👍
Did you do the 62a mounts? Are they harsh? I can imagine they'll make a huge difference on getting power down. Stocks are rubber bands lol😂
@@justinlunsford3590 for my car slight vibration at stoped position and parked. They’re not fully broken in
@@vandeveldevlogs8471 I can deal with a little change. Feels a lot more connected now I bet. Ive thought of just doing upper tq mount. Ive also heard you can hear engine more transferring in the cabin? Thanks!
At 2x you're almost talking fast enough.
