Thanks for the installation videos, helped me with mine. FWIW I love this suspension kit. Improved the ride immensely. Think it is an awesome bang for the buck upgrade.
Awesome. Thanks for the video. Im going to hold out until sharkset release their rear offering, and put both of theirs on...Assuming it will be a good as their front offereing (or at least better looking that this one), I think I will turn this into the perfect low maintenance scooter that is comfortable to ride, which is why I got it :). Love my ninebot, but it could use the suspension for sure. (But none of that RGB lighting for me.)
Eagerly anticipating what sharkset comes out with for the rear. Monorim seems to be more of a hassle than what they're worth both front AND rear. This one is the only viable option at the moment. I Agree totally on every aspect you mentioned. I get a strange vibration noise or rattle from it. Possibly from one of the pivot points.. Like you said it needs proper bearings to make it more solid. but there's no way i'm drilling holes in the frame nor do i like the 2 piece fender of the monorim.. Good review as usual!
Thanks dude. Yeah I didn’t fancy the hassle of Monorim. And the split fender. This is going to suit ok for the time being. I did speak to Farahbod at Sharkset and there may or may not be suspension coming. The issue is how do you design something here that was designed without suspension in mind. And he doesn’t really want to rehash the suspension ideas that are already on the market
@@ScootLetsGo The monorim is perfectly fine, they have a v2.0 out now, and will be bringing out a Special edition very soon! I like the look of the shark suspension, it would have been even better with air shocks as well. Which link in your description is for the shark please? And where is the coupon code?? 😊👍🛴
For the bolts/screws rusting problems, you can use some threadlocker (I recommend the blue type - red will permanently lock the screw) to lock them in place and apply a thin coat of hydraulic grease on top of them. That will prevent any rusting if water makes contact with them.
you get what you pay for my friend, that is why Monorim's products are never cheap, I learn from a hard lesson by kissing the ground hard just because of the cheap $60 front suspension on my M365, the good things are I was wearing full protection gears after riding a EUC, other wise the $60 cheap suspension can get me a $600K medical bill easily here in USA.
Thanks Kevin. I wouldn’t hold your breath over Sharkset right now. After speaking with them, they are focusing on supplying the demand for the front at the moment. Also when it comes to designing something they want to do something different but with practicality. This is going to take a long time.
@@ScootLetsGo ahh thanks for the update ! anyway, then I prefer no back suspension at the moment. For the roads I use, the front is sufficiënt at the moment :-) still waiting my battery upgrade at the moment ;-)
Yeah the back suspension isn’t for everyone. I will maybe do batty upgrade in the future. Limited funds right now though. I want thinking to build my own. But that required me to learn how to do stuff 😂
@@ScootLetsGo yep, I now gonna try out the one from “ you know who” to see what that gives :-) but in future also planning to make my own once , first getting all the materials together to build it and in the meantime want to use the one coming to me prebuilt... I am especially curious to the new bms they deliver in the battery pack to not burn the controller. The battery itself is not that hard to create . If I can give 1 advice , if you ever start yourself : don’t do expansion on your existing battery, make an entire new one because you gonna work with different battery cells and different age of the cells and that can give very big problems after a while with charging/discharging each other , giving a lot of other problems on your entire electronica circuit and in worst case gives fires ...
Yeah so I have been trying to figure this out. I know that most of the battery packs do not come with a BMS and utilise the controller for safety measures. But I’m pretty sure I’d rather have one in there anyway. This will allow the battles to balance better and charge. But that’s my limited understanding.
Hi bro, i have watched your video for rear suspension and did the same thing... All good but the noise while driving. Did you make a video about how to stop rear fender noise or ay noise after rear suspension installation? Thank you.
Hi mate. How tight should my standard max bot steering be. I think my bearings are pinched. I can’t find anywhere on UA-cam in regards to stiffness of steering etc. I have found your links to bearing replacement. Kudos.
Hey. They should be right. But not so tight that you cannot turn the stem easily. And you’ll know if they are lose because the stem will wobble slightly.
I think this suspension will do the job for me. I lookd for other susoension, price are crazzy. I think people are over charing just for this suspension. Here, 100 euro we can buy a complete bucycle, and 50 buks I think high price for just a suspension. Anyway, I hv order similar suspendion for my xaomi pro 2, front nd back 70 euro from aliexpress. Lets see how it goes.
This really depends on the type of riding that you do. For me, it's kinda of a necessity, with all the offroading and bumps. Anything it better than nothing at all. It's not really epensive, so you can try it for yourself. :)
I currently do not have m365 on there yet. I am looking into this. And for coupon. I am offering the Sharkset at the best price I can. So there are no further discounts there

Don't worry I got some threadlocker. :)

Thanks informative. Too bad no color LED for rear suspension.
Yeah this would be pretty cool. :)
Does the folding mechanism still lock onto the rear like it does with the stock fender?
Yes it does. Sorry forgot to cover this.
@@ScootLetsGo Where does the hook connect with on the suspension frame?

Unfortunantely everything is going up in price. But yes, this will do the job, just be careful as it requires a little more maintainance.
@@ScootLetsGo im little concern abt the Rivet screw. How good it is? Is it able to hold our weight? Is there any wobble in total setup?
How much of a difference does it actually make? Is it a dramatic increase with the just the front suspension vs the front and back suspension?

what strobing LED on the front i have a m365 pro
The strobing LED you see Its from the sharset suspension
Please look at ginger on wheels and let me know about his upgrade kit. Top man 💪😎👊
Hey. Yeah I already see those vids. :).
When funds permit I will look into it
It adds like 15lbs to it. I guess if your road conditions is that bad or if it’s meant for off road then yes. I rather spend the money on a seat.
Can you addd air suspension on them
What's the coupon code for the shark please??
You can buy at scootletsgo.com

How I will find Yellow Spring
This came with the Sharkset suspension. You could just paint your own spring if you don't wanna pay.
Is that effort worth it?
So for me, yes. But for some that only on smooth roads only, not really
Scotch and soda comercial that was just forced upon me was excrutiatingly loud. I hope that company goes to hell.
Well I know what you like to drink hahaha.
Here’s my answer 😅
You were very quick hahaha
I wonder if u could lift it so the bottom wouldn’t scrape over cerbs
How do you mean lift it? If your on about adding more height to the back with this. I think there would be major limitations there
@@ScootLetsGo like does the suspension make the bord go lower
It raises it up a little bit.
Sorry something I should have covered in the video. Thanks for bringing that up
