Great vid, absolutely helped me put mine together today would've taken me forever using the SharkSet "instructions". One thing that caught me out was the fact the length of the cable on the stock motor does not poke out of the frame far enough for the motor to reach the suspension kit by default. However eventually figured out I had to open the bottom panel, remove the zip tie on the motor cables (ones set by the factory) and push them out of the frame enough for it to reach.
Hi, I'm glad you found my video helpful. The cable does need pulling out a little bit. Fortunately for me, I did this when I put on the last suspension.
Sharkset looks absolutely built like a tank, the only thing making me bite my cheek is the 400 USD price tag for the front and rear suspension kit, that's nearly half the cost of the entire scooter!!!
Hey, yeah it is rather expensive, but I think it's worth having that extra piece of mind. The great thing about mods, is that they allow you to upgrade when you have the money. Unlike having to buy a scooter with everything on outright.
Wow I just installed mine it is a awsome bit of kit! The shock that comes with the rear suspension seems to be a tad better quality than the front stock shocks that come with the sharset front suspension just something to note.. I will say this set is worth every penny.
YES, great ! Thank you for your video. Detailed as always 👍 I was waiting for this rear Shakset for a long time and for the moment, I'm using a cheap chinese one as you did. Better shocks absorption than nothing, but so... noisy and not very trusty (have to tight some srews time to time) ! In your video, thickness of the main plates and roller bearings seem to show real quality. I'm really waiting for your first tests and feelbacks ☺️. My finger is shivering above the buy button 😅 Thanks again man and keep going !
Thank you 😊. I’m sure with this like any nut and bolt you will need to tighten occasionally. But it looks so much better and I’m sure the fender is so much more practical. This is going to have a level of noise over time. After all it’s a spring. The front sharkset does too. But I’m looking to maybe in the future add air shocks. After a full review. With should be in a few weeks.
hello, I would like to know where did you buy your tires???? please I am looking for exactly the type of tire for my g30 the axis but I find nothing only 8.5 inches for xiaomi so if you could tell me say where you got them or give me the link it would be really cool, thank you
Hi what's the right direction to install the shock? There are couple of pictures different installed ..some are like upside down as you did..or it doesn't matter? Thanks
I got the fatmax motor and rear suspension. But the lock tab for both the fatmax (lock isn't angled) and stock (hole is too small) does not fit the fatmax with the sharkset rear suspension. How did you solve this issue?
Nice setup on sharkset kit and can they be fitted with 10x3 road/off road wheels that be cool to see them on segway ninebot are best quality the way company has built
Very nice installation video, thank you for posting this. A little disappointed that the 2 19mm wheel nuts that hold the wheel in place aren't covered/protected by anything. I wonder if there are any 3rd party parts that could be installed over them for some protection. The installation manual from Sharkset seems to refer to an optional part that goes under where the spring connects to the scooter body, but since it's optional I guess it doesn't matter? Also I'm a bit annoyed that all of Sharkset's marketing material(including the manual) showed what looks like an airshock, but turns out it just comes with regular springs..
Hi, thank you. It would be nice if there was something to go over the wheel nuts, but there are covers out there you can buy. Even if they are extra. The instruction manual does mention the optional part. However, I didn't see the need to add this. And yes they have the air shock on there. But this will cost you extra if you want it. Unfortunately, they are a business and will potentially upsell the shock later. Which I'm not apposed to. Just would be nice if they could sell an alternate version with the air shock in the box, even for a little more.
can you get that for a aovo pro s1 m365 and how much does it set you back because thinking of getting it on mine, i have just got a wider stand board of berry boards and it makes alot of difference to the scooter so my next job is the shocks and to get rid of them bloody honeycomb tyres lol you know what i mean haha so how much for the back suspension and great video learned alot
Hello Thank you for your video but I miss the C- CAP Head M4X8 in the box how to do? I am very disappointed with this brand, a so-called premium thing but something is missing. It annoys me I want to hit you the director of this brand of.
Chill dude. I do have to make sure I’m paying my bills. I don’t currently have a lot of time on my hands. You don’t need to add any wire. You can just pull a little extra out from the battery compartment
Bro no offense, this video is extremely hard to see what your doing , also there's a few times in this video you say your using something but the pdf says a different bolt , there was a lot of unnecessary work of taking stuff off that you say to put on idk if in July 2023 you have a v2 but everything about installing this was completely frustrating with the lack of correct instructions
Hi. Sorry, but poorly executed video, accidental or deliberate lack of information.! I came to see if you extended the wires to the rear wheel.! Guess I'll never find out! 🤷🏼♂️

Great instructions, sadly I didnt get the spacer at 13:04 I only have the two spacers that you need for the backlight mount. That annoys me...
Hi, yes I had a word with Sharkset on this one. You can take the spacer out from the licence plate holder. It wont make any difference there.
Just orded mine today!!! This scooter is so fun to drive! Thanks!
Great video ! Thx for pointing out couple of specifics to watch out with, before installing. 👍🙏

Hi what's the right direction to install the shock? There are couple of pictures different installed ..some are like upside down as you did..or it doesn't matter? Thanks
Follow my video. This is the correct way.
@@ScootLetsGo i followed your video and I did it as you did..but some others did it like upside down..would like just to know why..?
Honestly I have no idea. I got my instructions directly from manufacturer. And this is the intended way.
I asked sharkset. They told me "The direction of shock absorber is not important at all, It is an aesthetic"

Hi, you can order them here s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9h7jt7 buy the 75/65 6.5. These are the ones I have. You do not need an inner tube
It will help a lot in assembling.
Can you show me some test runs?
I spent 2 days building and editing this video. I will be doing a demo video :)
The white colour irks me quite a bit. Has anyone sprayed that to yellow?
Just did mine thx

I'm sorry, but I do not know.
yo! finaly! Like before I watch!
Will this work on g30p?
I would say yes. But I cant guarantee this as some measurements may change
@@ScootLetsGo thank you for the advice my friend:)
Pourquoi ce fabricant n’a pas vendu la suspension avec la trottinette ?
Car ça respecte pas le cahier des charges qui veut une trotinette légère avec grosse autonomie pour moins de 800e...

Hi.
Sorry, but poorly executed video, accidental or deliberate lack of information.!
I came to see if you extended the wires to the rear wheel.! Guess I'll never find out! 🤷🏼♂️
You open bottom and release the extra wire inside the scooter, pull through and voila ! Longer wire.
