Also additional question There is a little bit of play in the steering Column, not side to side that is stable right and left , but more from bottom of Wheel to top of steering. The gap seems larger right below the column lock where it meets the lower Frame
I did it with an adjustable wrench in my dorm. Don’t do this. Use real wrenches or sockets. However, the front fork is a good upgrade and although installation was not easy, it was worth it. Imo it makes the scooter look better and more aggressive too.
@@ChillVibes-Cafe I try to avoid bumps if I can. Even with the suspension on haha. You get somewhat of a vision on the front but the back is still going to shock you.
@@ScootLetsGo you can search for an image on internet. The sharing company named voi also use them. I somehow found one that was "fished" from a river 2 months after voi was gone from my city (they lost the city tender for escooter sharing), I managed to completely convert it to function like a retail max plus and yeah, brakes are very bad. The cable can broke very easily and without the rear motor brake (quite strong for an e abs) I would die lol

@@tibr do you really think I didn't tightened the cables ? And it's drum brake not disk brake man. And on the ninebot max plus they are particularly weaks. Brake cables are also low quality one and break very very easily.

I repainted the fork, made it look like the stem. Btw, the quality of the springs inside and the rubber rings was really good and no metal dust at all.

When i tighten the Middle long screw the one you do at 8:56 i cant move the steering wheel, i have to loosen it to have my steering wheel movable with the fork. I hope you can help me out.

Could this be done to a scooter with those small 90-100 MM solid wheeled scooters. Like a razor E90. As long as the tube diameters were the same? The rear wheel conversion maybe a little trickier.
Does anyone know if you can somehow swap the spring for a harder one? with every bump that it should spring out, it bangs because the spring is too soft, I can't drive so carefully that that doesn't happen :(

I find that having suspension all round is the best. If you had to pick one for now I would say the front. As if you go for the back, the backend will be raised higher than the front.
Sorry to be a pest bud but a couple questions if I could. I know you have switched to the fancier Sharkset suspension . Did you do it because you had an issue with this setup? I am on a limited disability pension. These motorcycle style shocks go for less than half the Sharkset price. I saw your follow up vids but you talk more hardware then ride experience If so ,were they just not good so you switched, or were they a decent enough suspension you just changed them as a style thing. Any help would be appreciated. Too many other sites just don't come across as honest as yours so your opinion would really help.
Hey, you're not being a pest. So it's still early days with this suspension. After doing a few miles I actually prefer it and for the type of terrain that I go on is a mixture and want to make sure that I have the best comfort for it. The honest answer why I bought this suspension is because it is new and makes for a good youtube video. I will make a video soon on comparing them both. :) I would say for you, go with what is in your budget, the cheaper one that I had on before might suit your needs perfectly for the type of riding and terrain you do. The weather is being a pain for me at the moment so I will wait until that has calmed down before I can continue testing further.

I think it's getting bigger clearence on scooter. With old fork clearence is about 7,5mm, but there is a question, how much is clearence with the new one fork?

Hey, I hope you managed to find the tools for this. You will need a spanner set. Spanners 16mm,10mm,8mm,14mm,11mm And a good hex key set with all sizes to take off the stem. Mainly 5mm hex keys. I tend to find an electric screw driver to help with the hex part. I hope this helps.
Peter Lakanen so this particular one cost me £77GBP. There are some companies selling for around £20GBP with over 5/10 pieces. I’m not sure in the shipping. I would enquire on that :)
Hey I’ve been trying to get the other black nut off that’s been holding the front wheel on the fork. I’ve spent 30 minutes trying to unscrew it, but as I twist the nut, the bolt also twists along the nut, making it impossible to get the second nut off. Any advice?
i also ordered the front suspension (same version like in the video and via aliexpress) but got the wrong version (the version u dislike and does not fit properly) My front tire is not exactly in the middle and the screws that hold the tire cant be mounted properly. I test rided it and it feels awful. Not safe. I dismounted it again. What front suspension can you recommend and where can i buy it that i get the right one? Thanks and love your videos! My suspensoin should be like yours (the good one) but i got the bad one and if i trust the comments there a lot of people got the wrong items. I added a link with a picture to my youtube comment. Have you seen it? And im thinking about the sharkset or the no-branded one from the video. When it comes to the sharkset can i just mount it whithout connecting it to the battery (so with no LED and just a normal suspension)?
Don't waste your money on this suspension, its not all that good at all. Go with the Sharkset or Monorim suspension, much better quality and really make for a smooth ride.

im very interested in this, even with tubeless, there is not enough shock absorption.
It’s not meant to be much. It’s still better than the standard non suspension you get.

Now the Max resembles the Ninebot Max Plus model which is in fact a shared e-scooter variant that weighs around 24kg!
Ninebot max plus is the worst shared scooter ever made. Very bad quality. Brakes are dangerously weak on this model.
I have no idea what the Max Plus is like, I do like the coverings that go around the nut covers

Super easy, haha. Took me 3 hours and the stem is quite wobbly. It seems the new suspension has no conical fit on the wheel side. What am I missing?

I would love to say yes. But I honestly don’t know. You would have to buy it and try it for yourself. But it’s a risk.

If you bought an Eskute Max it comes with that fork.
do you add any bearings on the bottom side of the new fork/suspension? are bearings installed in the original fork on the bottom side?

For me and the type distance I love to cover and the terrain. Definitely. For someone that has smooth roads I would say not really

The brake cable must be extended from 130mm to 145mm.
