Endocrinologists do not seem to be at high risk. In fact from memory I don't believe I have ANY endocrinologists on suicide registry. I can not recall any suicides among that specialty. Only a few in dermatology. Some specialties are lower risk for sure.

In fact, since I first heard of physician suicide, I vowed to make EVERY doctor I meet laugh. Sometimes, it was enough that they almost fell over in there lab coats! They've told me "Zach, patients like you are like rays of sunshine on a cloudy day." What do you think?
