- In this video I’ll show you how kill the feedback produced by the Active Noise Cancellation after you install after market subwoofer with the factory head unit on the 2019 infinity Q50. This car didn’t come with any premium sound system. It’s just the basic one. You can see the location for the microphones and the easy way to remove. I hope you guys likes the video and give me like!
Might be a little late but this definitely worked! back wire is annoying to reach its taped down but once you get both off all the noises go away
I have here rite now a 2019 q50 and I removed both mics like you said and I still have noise when I give the car gas. The noise didn't go away I added 4 new speakers and added 2 new amps 1 for mids and 1 bass Amp. What else could it be
Hey man thanks! This worked. After hours of ripping out hair out. Best of wishes to you!
How did you reach in the back to unplug it I’m having a hard time
Hey, I want to remove my headliner on my Q60. But I can’t find a proper tutorial. Can you guys help me out ?
Hi ! We did the same thing, unplugged both ACN plugs the way the gentleman does here, and i still have the humming, it’s not too bad though. If anyone knows how to STOP the humming, please let me know
Check your grounds
E S6TT will do! thank you
I have subwoofer noise humming as well. The humming continues even when I press muted or have volume at 0... did you figure it out?
@@michaelsolis9891 hi Michael ! so yes you have to unplug the brown plugs as mentioned in the video (one is towards the back near antenna and the other in the front as shown in video). you have to pull the head liner from the back and you HAVe to unplug both and not just one ! i have NO humming
@@michaelsolis9891 the guy i took my car to only unplug one end and didn’t do the back end. he claimed to had done both ends but i was curious to see so we pulled the back liner and found he didn’t unplug it SOO make sure both are unplugged
I think i read in a forum that the ANC module is in the trunk
We unplugged all the mics but it’s still humming any idea?
Why you didn’t show how you take out the back microphone
If you have a q60 non bose and If you cant find that option. Look under the rear third brake light you will see a tiny brown connector. Unplug it and you should be fine.
Does this affect your Bluetooth audio and or your hands free link
I would also like to know the answer to this
It doesn’t
@@anthonyzantello6134 it does...I have a echo whenever I’m talking on the Bluetooth ever since i unplugged it
Or you could just go into the cars menu on the radio and turn off ANC
daycounter321 or the non bose systems doesn’t come with it in the diagnostics menu so you have to unplug it
Ryan Cameron i just installed speakers and amp on my q50 and it doesn’t have the option on the radio so i have to manually unplug it?
I’m having the same problem what did you do to solve this?
How do you unplug it
I did this and still humming its terrible both r unplugged
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful.
Though you can go to the "Secret Menu" (a shout to to @joe jangles... ua-cam.com/video/2Dx7pgYBE1o/v-deo.html) and turn ANC off, anytime you disconnect and reconnect the battery, ANC turns itself back on and you must go back to the "Secret Menu" to turn it off (again). This method bypasses the use of the silly "Secret Menu" and was fairly simple to do (though the back mic is a pain in the butt).
This method doesn't work on models that don't have the bose system. ANC is still installed on the car, but it doesn't appear in the secret menu. Just tried it with my 2017. My only option is to disconnect it manually
