Thanks for the video👍I installed an aftermarket amp and subwoofer and whenever I'm idling under 1k rpm I can hear a buzzing coming from my subwoofer and it's annoying. Once I'm over 1k rpm it goes away or if I open my doors the noise goes away. Again I really appreciate your videos on these beautiful Infiniti cars💪
That's absolutely it! ANC working against your sound system. Try disabling it and let us know how it all goes. If you find a better way to do it, please share with us
@@EdBwoy will do, felt nice enough at lunch hopefully it’s not too bad when i get off and i can chop that annoying thing, and i hope that’s the problem, my gf has the q60 with subs and it has the same problem.. only difference is to turn it off is in the hidden menu and to get to the hidden menu you need the oem screen.. not the mk5 tesla screen lollll, but ive heard it could be the way my subs are wired (not professionally installed)😂🤷♂️ figured i’d start here and see.
Thank you man, im installing a subwoofer tomorrow and wondered if there were any way i could disable this. Im planning on doing rhis tomorrow, youre 100% that theyre the right wires?
is ANC a standard feature for all M37x or just for the highest trims? I ask because my M37x is the standard model and after i did a muffler delete i hear buzzing near the speakers
Ideally, yes. That way even if you touched the wrong wire against the body, you wouldn't cause a short in the wrong place. In theory, you can clip it without having to disconnect the battery but it's best to play it safe.
I can't think of any other way to do it if you want to unplug it. You don't have to take the whole headliner down though. People have reported that the headliner was flexible enough for them to just remove the c-pillars then squeeze under the headliner to unplug it
@@nanaamponsah3341 I had someone confirm that it worked for them by snipping just one wire. Now if I may ask, how are you testing the ANC, does the interior sound change dramatically if you open the door?
@@EdBwoy ah ok. Me test was simply listening for noise/reverberations while idle at a light. It could be in my mind, I’ll give it another go. To be fair I haven’t driven my car very often since doing this mod. Thanks for the reply and confirmation. Appreciate the work/content you continue to put out.
@@nanaamponsah3341 thanks man, I appreciate the constant support. When I did my exhaust versus ANC video, I think it was easier to catch it when parked and opening the closing the door (I hope it carried well into the video, lol) Now to be honest, I haven't snipped my own wire because I am planning to do something with exhaust setups with ANC

@@EdBwoy Sure my brother will do👍
same here, i also have straight pipes but the audio drone is so annoying, it’s almost a heartbeat sometimes lmao
@@3ilff wow! Could you please record a video for us before you fix it?

What’s the best way to remove the dome light? My sunglass holder broke and I don’t want to break anything yanking it down
So I’ve learned that even the 10 speaker Bose is complicated and required wire cutting too. Rather than simply unplugging

What about the fuga y50????
Can I access the rear microphone with out taking down the headliner?

Ed, can you tell me if the front seats from any of the other M's fit in the 2003-2004 M45?
I have my doubts but I have not tried it myself, so cannot say for sure if it will work as a direct bolt on.
What about the M35. 08
👍🤙👍🤙👍🤙
Does both front and rear microphone wires need to be cut or can I just cut the blue wire to disable the whole system?
You can disable either the front or rear microphone. So unplug any one of the 2 microphones, or cut any one of the 4 wires I pointed out.
Ed have or were you ever been able to confirm this? I sniped one of the wires and yet it feels like the ANC is still working?
