Fantastic stuff! spent the day to day rolling plum ala salar and shrimp extract for a 24 hr session, watching these videos has taught me so much and got me into making my own bait thanks so much
JB's base mixes are something every serious angler must try at least once i gave the milk and honey with TM1 a try, rolled by hand even though i over egged the mix it still worked nice. what's more the bait had that many layers of attraction from giving of a noticeable fizzing scent of the rolled bait and TM1 when cooked and ultra fresh, to a very meaty like aroma from the yeast i think? once they had been in the water for a while. Also, as someone who fishes small waters that can be peggy, John's baits can be fished in any part of the lake the fish do their summer cruising in, hungry or not they will eat it, all the base mixes would make a very good wrap paste for those that don't want to roll baits. I plan on using the bombay spice mix on Ecton lakes this summer.

Double win I got £50 for a 10 year old bottle of tutti frutti and didn’t waste my time fishing with my old liquids that I would pull out for custom hook baits, funny my catch rate went up after but that’s why I asked about the pot shots 👍🏼

Love your stuff John, but the prices on the site now are just unaffordable. Almost £20 for 1kg of base mix.. who the bloody hell can afford to pay that. Plus the time and eggs to make + flavours.. sorry mate I’ll go back to making my own.
What I’m doing is mixing with other stuff. Other powders and flours, spices etc that average £2-£4 a kg so I’m finishing up with a boilie no more than £7.50/kg. Certainly no need to use this stuff as a 100% mix jeez
