I actually found Alex' channel first, some half year ago, because "whatever my current outdoor passion project is" fits my own interests perfectly. I never had any interest in fishing until a few weeks ago, and when I found Carl's fishing tutorials their calm and informative style somehow struck a familiar chord. Only now do I find out you guys are brothers and it all makes sense. Big congrats to both of you for each doing what you love and independently creating such great videos!

I came to youtube fishing (and Carl and Alex) through my interest in European fishing, as I found carp fishing techniques unique. Thereafter I discovered Jon B (before he became a Googan), and rediscovered a passion for bass fishing. When Jon B collaborated with you both, and then you both came to America it was probably my favorite youtube collaboration. It was great seeing Jon's effort to expose you both to Bass fishing, and I loved the respect Jon had (or obtained) for carp fishing by what you shared with him. I want more of that content and I hope the "epic" US trip gives you all (Jon, Carl, and Alex [and let me suggest Lake Fork Guy]) more opportunities to create content together.

Carl, as an older brother myself I’ve always identified more with you. I saw the thumb nail early this morning and avoided watching. Best of luck for the future to both of you, been watching for a couple of years now I think. Got into them at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to watch fishing whilst not being able to go out and do it. I still remember the first day I could go out fishing up here in Scotland. Roasting hot day and got sunburnt bad 😅
I also remember when the videos got back to fishing normality, good times. Some brilliant memories and very enjoyable videos. Can't wait to see what's to come!

Carl & Alex was the first UA-cam channel I subscribed to years ago, when you guys were still in school. Thanks for all the years of incredible videos! I just subscribed to Alex’s channel. I really hope you guys collaborate together a lot. It will be hard getting used to you guys having separate channels, but on the plus side, hopefully that means twice as many videos from you two!! I started watching your videos 7 years ago and I remember thinking how humble and pure your content was and it has remained like that ever since. Truly inspiring.
You know, its strange to have such a connection to people you've never met, personally I feel as though ive followed and been part of your journey since almost the start and to always know that no matter how bad my week has been there will probably be a C&A video to look forward to to brighten up the week. I could definitely see this coming from just things Alex has said over the years (not In a negative way) so I'm glad you can both do what you want. I always knew Alex wasn't as addicted to fish as Carl and that's good because now I have two channels to watch with two channels I'll really enjoy !
I've only watched this channel for about 3 years but it has been one of the best fishing channels out there. You guys made it so personal in a positive way. I also noticed, some time back, that the dynamic had changed and I am not surprised that you have come to this conclusion. It's nice to know that your paths will cross going forward. I don't do as much as I used to when I was a kid and young man but I have thoroughly enjoyed fishing along with you in my mind.

I live not a million miles away from some of the spots you fish so thank you for the joy you have brought me and countless others.

My sons and I love to Carp fish and it was nice to find a channel that showed respect and techniques to a fish that is considered "trash" over here. First time back to this channel in a while, crazy it’s been well over a year since this happened and I didn’t know! I remember when I first got into fishing and started watching you guys on UA-cam over a decade ago now. Your videos always got me excited to go fishing, and starting watching you again (after not fishing for a good 2-3 years now) I’m so excited to start it up again this summer. I’m glad you’re both doing well and continuing with your own separate passions, having my own younger brother I can imagine how great and challenging at the same time working together must’ve been haha. The exact same thing happened with me and rob on my channel, me and rob are cousins so we have like a brother relationship, we found it easier not working together and going separate ways but we still speak daily and still both love what we do. I 100 percent support your decisions and can’t wait to see what you 2 get up to on your channels🙌
