Genuinely the best mage guide I've seen. Informative, little quips, comprehensive. I had to work out all this information doing a wiki/reddit delve and I could've just watched your video lol.
Just as an additional note to all this wonderful information, there is a soft cap on power increase past intelligence stat 80. So if you lvl your int to 80, you can start moving your build around more freely, like different helms that don't nerf your stam and health.
@@blockminster3282 I think you can do better getting to 80 int, and then exchange the Stargazer Heirloom and Rennala's Hat for Graven School(and mass)/Glintstone Blade/Radagon Seal/Magic scorpion charm and Snow Witch Hat for frost spells increase. Using items to add to int for a pure sorcerer is a waste, as you always should be at 80 int softcap without item help.

It makes spells cost more mana so honestly I wouldn’t go for it unless you have spent a lot of levels in Mind. If you have 60 int or you plan on getting 60 int, use the Remembrance from the Raya Lucaria boss to make their staff.
I think both that and and lusats staff are for 100+ lvl builds where you have 40-60 mind, early to mid game you would have to drink after every 2 casts
Thops Barrier is really good and you can get it really early when you go to the academy. It deflects magic and incantations better than the party magic shield and consumes less FP

You’re the GOAT!
These are really working for me. Thanks!
Thank you so much man, great content.
My mage play through was really fun. It has its challenging moments. Shocking enough I found mid - late game bosses easier as a caster. Got melania down in 3 tries.
Great vid. I've struggled with Armour and you've given me some ideas. I'm doing a Death Mage build (faith/Int). I'm one boss away from getting the Prince of Death staff though I can't get the Ghostflame spell till end game.
Great build and thoughts man! Keep up the content!
Love the videos 👍 can’t wait for part 3
