Once we know the inputs give which commands we can be as elegant as our skill level allows
I wouldn't mind something like unity again but the assassin are more like ghost recon with the AI help you or getting assassin friends to help you complete mission. It would be cool to see an AC mixed with recon wildlands AI friends... bit like how ezio had the ability in brotherhood 🤔

To ''buy'' skills earlier and more of them, you must collect ''A'' (assassin) symbols located on the map, when you are doing Co-op missions (check UA-cam videos to find them if you're missing some). There are none on heists-type, but a lot of them on all the other missions. These are supplementary skill points to power-up Arnaud faster. Also, the game is dubbed in British-English, because it is more suited to the more elaborate French used in the XVIII Century and because it would have been weird to have US English while the USA was just a small, mostly undeveloped/yet unexplored country at the time, barely out of its War of Independence.
Thanks for the info dude, sure some people will find that handy. The dubbing to me is weird not because they speak English, but because they have British accents. Imagine playing Ghost of Tsushima and Jin spoke English but with an American accent, it’s weird! 😂
@@IronsideGeorge The French language used in the game is quite elaborate (nobles NPC in the game in particular). They use verb's tenses and some vocabulary words that are in disuse in today's French, as that level of speech is considered an archaism. I wouldn't want to generalize, but most Americans speak in slang and in very shorts sentences with little subtleties (of course that doesn't apply to more educated Americans). All this to say, that British-English is more suited to translate the era of the French Revolution. The story of Unity was originally written in French, but most buyers of the game speak English only, hence a choice must be made as to the fidelity of the translated material. For example, at the beginning of the game, you can hear a rather long speech given by King Louis XVI. The speech is the original ''State of the Realm'' speech he gave at the time.
Just got it around Christmas finished its a 9.5/10 (i'm still playing it) i wanna get either ac black flag or ac 3 remastered (which one should i get? and why...)
Great to hear dude. And that’s a tough question. AC3 remastered will feel newer than Black Flag, and has the best combat in the series imo. The Story is good too. Black Flag has one of the best stories in the franchise, and one of the best protagonists too. The combat is also good. I’d say, if you want the added addition of sailing the Caribbean go Black Flag. If not, go AC3. Stealth is lacking in both games though.
Playing on my steam deck oled and its gorgeous, fluid, and packed with content. Still the most impressive game in the series. Its just so damn good. Syndicate was better in gameplay but the city was not as fun, dense, the lack of insane crowd density made it feel like a downgrade. Still 2 of the best games along with Orgins.
I've played most of the AC games over the years and since loads of them are included in PS premium I've recently started to catch up to some I've missed out on over the years. I just gave up on this one because it is by far my worst AC experience ever. It makes me wonder there is something up with the PS5 version because it's like I've been playing a completely different game that is being described in this video. - The parkour looks great when it works, but to me it often didn't: I got stuck a lot, especially in interiors but als on random objects in the street - I've died dozens of times from landing next to the cart of hay... I haven't experienced that being difficult in any other AC game - The stealth parts are unplayable to me, I can't cover behind an object if I'm already crouched, I have to stand up, get spotted and then I can press x to cover... - The 'thug' groups spot me everywhere, even when not walking in the "red" areas on the minimap, those areas do nothing that isn't happing anyway - Looting from enemies rarely gives you items, the only way to restock your inventory seems to be buying shops, which I find extremely annoying - Especially since you are locked out of so many actions when you are not "anonymous" buying lockpicks requires assassinating the thugs across the street every time - I found the lockpicking minigame impossible Paris is beautiful, but the story is "ok" at best, I just don't think they got the best out of a brilliant period in history for an AC game. But my primary grievance is just that the game plays so much different from the AC games I know and love. I'm aware I'm not the most skilled gamer, but with this game it felt like it was hard because core mechanics didn't work very well, especially the stealth parts.
Hey - so yeah, you’ve definitely had a different experience to me. Granted, parkour can be hit and miss sometimes, and the cover system is definitely the most broken part of the game, but everything else is did not experience at all! You need to get a PC and compare them now 😂
Shay was left out because there too little communication between the teams of devs. Rogue was a bit of an afterthought but still one of the better ACs in my opinion
@IronsideGeorge It wouldn't let me sign it at all. The only way I could do anything was by searching for the same mission at the same time with a friend
@@Cozza-1516 Clubs are shut-down & you can't play with friends anymore. Co-op missions are still available though, but you always play with random people and there aren't that many these days. Better play during the week-ends or in the evening.
I am a professional writer, and i don't like the narrative of this game, which i think is very sloppily written. I would have completely rewrote the introduction section of the game, and cut Arno's biological father, Charlies Dorian, from the story entirely, and made the beginning cutscene of Arno as an orphaned baby, being dropped off to the De La Saire mansion during a rainy night, and develop their relationship further than what we got. We have two dad deaths in less than an hour, with the first one purely there to set up another, more important dad death. It is entirely the latter dad that drives the narrative and Arno's motivations, with his biological father not being relevant again in the entire game. The narrative tries to juggle way too much. It's a Romeo and Juliet story, but its about the French Revolution, but its about the Assassins and Templars, and its also a character study. Its too.ambitious for its own good. I actually recommend the AC Unity novel adaptation, which follows Elise as the protagonist of the book, instead of Arno (thank god), which hugely fleshes out her characterization and personality, making her far more compelling than she ever was in the game. Basically, go read the novel instead of playing the game
This is the only AC where I felt no sense of fun playing it. I finished it earlier this year and it was such a slog. The parkour was fun, but that was the only thing I enjoyed. The progression was weird, the story was dull to me, and I couldn't even bring myself to finish the dlc. I will say that the game is gorgeous, but overall I don't think I'm going to give it another shot for a long time.
