This is simply a foliar iron application so you do not have to water it in right away. Anything with a high amount of quick release nitrogen I usually say to water it in right away, so no matter what product you use always check the label on the back to see what the recommendation is. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I’d say probably 3-4 weeks? Results really depend on what sort of nutrients your soil is lacking and what your soil pH is. If you have very alkaline soil the plant uses up iron much faster as your soil typically has low iron content and it’s not as readily available to the grass. More balanced pH and you’ll probably get a lot longer out of it with a nice green-up. Once the grass used up the available nutrients it will need more and you’ll start to see yellowing. Typically I’d say you can apply this once every 30 days and it will have a good lasting effect and your grass will get that continuous low-dose of micro nutrients that it needs. Hope that helps answer your questions! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@DIYDad1 Good to know. Here in KY, alkaline soil isn’t really an issue due to the natural limestone concentrations in this area. I typically use granular fertilizers as I find they last longer and are simply easier to put down, but I think using this liquid Iron product in between my regular fertilizer applications could really produce beautiful results… so I’m going to give it a try! Thanks!
@@Gokywildcats11 all the liquids are pretty much the same just different percentages. Chelated liquid iron has quicker plant take up. The lawn star brand is decent if you want something cheap and readily available on Amazon. I’ve used that many times. Otherwise if you want to get a dry iron powder and mix it with hot water and dissolve it yourself you can get iron sulfate from greenway biotech. They have an Amazon store front but it’s cheaper to buy directly from them go to greenwaybiotech.com I’ve used their products in my other videos in the past. Thanks for watching!
@@Striperman haha oh it’s on now fiiiight! 🤣🤣. Lol. Thanks man! The lawn has come a long way this year so far. That heavy overseed really helped a lot I think. For the first time this season I have people stopping in the road in front of my house driving by and telling me my lawn looks awesome. That’s never happened before 😁. Worth it lol.
Nice timing! I applied this last night with a little bit of rgs, can't wait to c results
Awesome! Hope it works out great!
Looking good! I’m looking forward to giving this a try!
Thanks man! I was impressed with how fast it works! Then again, I have an iron deficiency so any bit helps lol.

Looking good!!
The cooler weather we’ve had this week is certainly helping 😁
No side to side spray action???
How does it taste
Like success.
Lol. If it tastes like it smells I’d say a mix of urine, sugar, and earth.
@@DIYDad1 Great response!
how long did it last?

@@JDT859 that’s basically what I do too. This is more of a supplement to regular fertilizer feedings that I put down once a month in granular form.
What liquid iron would you recommend

A little late to the party. Got a backpack sprayer and will be switching from granules to liquid.
I just love the versatility of liquids and the ability to mix multiple products together to get different results. Thanks for watching and commenting!
My packaging didn’t look like that😔
Lol yep they package it pretty simple usually, got lucky when they sent me a trial of this stuff right when it was released 😁
