Jimmy is my uncle...he had that state record in a clear case that was amazing, and a twin right beside it...I sure miss him. It's nice to see he's still remembered in the fishing world.
BEST fishing lure video I have ever seen
Carolina has a huge amount of drains. My family is from NC and all but a few are deceased. I was the only one born in Texas. Im some what knowledgeable about Morehead and Beaufort. Caleb is very knowledgeable guide.
13 pounds 11 ounces, 33.13 inches caught in Baffin Bay by Jim Wallace. The 15.6 pounder 37.25 inches, was caught on a fly rod by Bud Rowland in Lower Laguna.
Even though I have a boat, My go to technique in Wilmington is fishing form the yak and ocassionally wade...... In Emerald Isle. I have some fantastic areas that I kayak close then get out and wade the last 70 to 100 yards..... Silence is Golden. I got 16 over 25 inches last year using these two techniques on Paul Browns and MR17s.
Awesome I love it! Would love to have you in the podcast to talk kayak fishing if your interested?
Awesome video!, Great knowledge from this fishing guide!
This is absolutely 🔥 information.
I quite fishing several years ago. I’m trying to convince to go fishing again.
Great video. Solid knowledge!
Thanks for a great video !
Great podcast 👏 👌 👍
Thanks for the knowledge!
Cool deal. He’s a cool guy! Texas trout baby! 🤙🏼
Captain Caleb is the man
I see where you got 1 thumbs down on this episode from a dingle berry. Don’t know why, but it is a great episode. That being said, since the time is coming up for the waders, please think about the clothing to wear to wear under the waders to keep us from freezing. Keep up the good work. BTW need some red shad FB’s. Take care!
Thanks for the kind words!! Where do you fish out of?
When, when it's when not whenever hahahaha does this drive anyone else crazy? Hahaha thanks for the video and your time guys.
Hahaha I love it! Do you fish out of Texas?
@@easterncurrentfishing no I live in Va but do all my inshore fishing in NC. The traffic of Va inshore keeps me away from there. I worked in new Bern a few weeks ago and stayed around Newport but didnt get to do any fishing, it really sucked because I was pretty much on the water looking at the lights from emerald isle or Indian beach but didnt have the time or equipment to fish and all the local guys I worked with and met while I was there didnt fish haha. I mostly fish oriental or vandemere with my brother, we come down for a day or so 6 or 7 times a year.
Love a corky in Eastern NC

People due yourself a favor and read Jim Wallace story about that State Record. He was fishing with his buddies in Baffin. Ronnie Sellers’s and Stedman.
I fish at Lockwood Folly Bay near Holden Beach NC. Water is brackish most of the time. What recommendation would you give me for an all around Paul Brown. Thanks john
I would fish the soft dine in the 808 color! Have you tried any Corliss before?
Do you ever use a split ring and a duo-lock on the fatty's...thanks.
I usually just tie straight to my leader with a loop knot
