On the west coast in the Sarasota area and I have great luck on trout with paddle tails. I did find that the slimmer more vibrant tail like the Z-Man swimmin trout trick is slightly better(purple/chartreuse). Like to alow the lure to sink and use a slow steady retrieve. Won't take long if they are around. Thanks for the conversation.

Great tutorial men. Will you do one of these videos per season? Wyatt, are there any plans for a meet and greet any time soon? I am a Texas angler.

Paddle tails for sure around Louisiana coast. Chartreuse glow is my fave. Very muddy water.

And yes. Live shrimp on a popping cork is always a winner.

I’m fishing in Virginia Beach and North Carolina. What’re the pros and cons to throwing a tandem paddle tail/ jerk shad over a single. Seems to me like having 2 would always be more effective?

Will you ever work the Laguna Madre (South Padre Island, TX) area. I’ve used your tips and tackle has been working, just feel areas near Arroyo Colorado fish finding can be frustrating. Still resilient.

Would you add Pro-Cure to your paddle tails?

We've switched over to Dr. Juice after multiple tests have proven it out-performs ProCure. But yes, we add Dr. Juice scent to our paddletails - fishstrong.com/products/dr-juice-saltwater-slam-scents
