if I can pick three cars from there it would be the 1965 Mustang with the fat N50-15s sticking out the back, The red 1970 Challenger with the 14x8 Road Hugger J60-14 tires and the 1969 Black Mercury Cougar with what looks like BFG's all around and side pipes
Misses the best stunt in the movie, in which Jeff [actor Gerrit Graham] brakes to a halt on the shoulder and jumps out of the car because he has discovered that it is a RED CAR, about which he is extremely superstitious. He then walks backward heedlessly across the highway, and is very narrowly missed by a passing car doing 60 or so. This was done all in one take, not using a stunt double, and no CGI fakery. Graham did not flinch or skip a beat in his lines while doing this incredibly dangerous stunt.
One of the great moments of American cinema.

This is among my favorite movies .

Exactly the reason I watched this
It’s funny how the Cadillacs exhaust pipe falls out and when one of the cars don’t even have a gas pedal
do catch me if you can 1989
Would love to; but it is currently still just on cruddy old VHS format unfortunately, but I certainly will if it ever comes out on Blu-ray.
