Fun Trivia: At 2:57 the black Mercury and white Ford convertibles are the same screen used cars from Grease!!! For the production of Grease, they had 3 Grease Lightnings (Ford) and 2 Hell’s Chariots (Mercury). In this movie (Used Cars) the Mercury was the one used for the Thunder Road race (as indicated by the crumpled grill) and the Ford is the junker version that Kenickie first shows up in (as indicated by the tires and no lighting paint job). As of today, the other Hell’s Charoit is the ONLY screen used car from Grease that still exist. I’m hoping someday at least ONE of the Grease Lightnings is found.
Little fun fact..whe Rudy says "these are the 1,200 dollar cars"..that white convertible ,was the car they used in the movie" Grease " in the rough condition of the Grease Lighting car
FACT:Jack Warden(1920-2006) couldn't handle playing a dual role throughout this film. So the screenwriter(s) had Luke Fuchs dropping dead of a heart attack. Unlike his brother Roy L.,Luke was no meanie.
One of the best comedy movies EVER
