I have a feeling doing this challenge is like managing the Irish Potato Famine, a Field Hospital, and a nation falling into anarchy all at the same time.
I think I'd try this with 3 Agriculture Focused Starting Dupes. There's so much dupe labour that can be thrown at science/ranching in the worst case, however getting more seeds from the high level agriculture would help food scale better till you reach the point ranching can take over.
Hehe, yeah the more you play the less you keep an eye on germs. They are not really an issue (except in hard mode). I understand the feeling though. When you start you want to be perfect with most thing. Then later on you just duct tape everything together :D

Just discovered your channel a few days ago and i must say your content is great!! love the edits and the information in the subtitles!! great content my dude♥
I think I already mentioned it previously for your 50/50 challenge, but I would very much enjoy the full length videos of you playing. I understand it takes more effort to comment live, but then you save months (literally) of extra time on editing - you can speed up/cut most boring parts and then publish the videos as is. One episode at a time. Me thinks this would also be more beneficial to your channel as a whole in terms of views/engagement.
I actually tried doing that. But the raw content was really boring. For example naming the dupes and doing the schedule took an hour. But I really want to try what you suggest. Maybe on another challenge or let's play. The lesd edited videos would probably go to the second channel and the edited shortened version on the main. Something like: >3-more Videos of let's play = 1 Episode of edited Lets play What do you think?
Definitely felt like having Pacus + Shovels early would've destroyed food production. With this many dupes, you should be able to have a good shovel farm up before cycle 7.
I thought that as well afterward. then I remembered that skill points are a big issue. so ranchers are a rarity sadly. maybe I focus on that if I ever try it again :)
@@Luma_plays Getting more skill points is easier with manual generators I believe, since the athletics they build will provide exp each time they get a point. I'm not sure if science effects exp gain as well but that could be a good method. Have designated dupes to always run the manual generators with high science. After turn them into ranchers?
Hey, hey, I thought about that before but decided against it, because it would have made the whole challenge (a small bit) easier. And i am sure a few people would have scolded me in the comments.

For the nest attempt i recomend that you put the night owls and early birds on two seprate settings, nightowls sleep in the morning early birds work all morning earlybirds go to sleep at night and night owls work at night.
I thought about that, but the fact i would have had to click through all the dupes while having the vital-screen (and other screens)-LAG deterred me. But for the next attempt i will try to do that. Thanks for the reminder. And if you have a tip to identify those Dupes faster i gladly take it.
Actually really good attempt! Things kinda fell apart during that food rush, but handling things on such a large scale is no easy task. Do you think trees would be useful? If I remember correctly they grow fast and provide tons of wood which gives a net positive of polluted water and dirt? I know they are pretty good for power at least and when I played with like 16 dupes they kept me going for awhile. I’m not super experienced though so maybe there is a drawback to them I don’t remember.
Hey dude, thanks for the comment. As far as i recall: Trees do grow at an exceptable rate when domesticated. They could be an interesting option if you start on a planet that has some. I am not sure regarding the dirt and polluted water though since you need a peteoleum generstor and pips for that. a peteoleum generstor couod be hard to research (can't remember how much resesrch is needed to unlock it) and ranching was hard in general cause we were missing the skill points. But i will keep it in mind in case there is an option that it can save the colony.
@@Luma_plays I looked at the research and the petroleum generator is unlocked along with the natural gas gen and oil refinery. I also forgot that you aren’t on the planet with trees so maybe that isn’t an option. Ahh well, I hope to see another attempt soon, it’s very interesting to see how you build.
That is a good point. I will try to invorporate that in future tries. Not sure why i didn't do that. I think i needed the metal for the spom first (or that is what I thought)
Wit my current skill probably not. I actually have never made Frostburgers. There was no need yet. But if i train it i guess it is possible. exclusively could also mean i push the base with many dupes but instead of feeding all i let all but 1 die? which would make it easier to feed them exclusively 😁
It's actually insane to think you will need 20 oxygen pumps to "breath" the 100dupes that is 10water oxidizer aka 10kg of water per second(you probably need like 3water geysers)(forgor the mouth breathers)
Yes that is the amount needed. I guess if you get further than cycle 50 with so many dupes the sand might become sparse as well. so no more filtration. But there is alot of ice in the planet.
This was cool! Although I am curious how are you getting into those slime bioms without infecting anything with slime. When I dig just a single slime block and it drops into the polluted air, the slimelung grows very fast and then it's a pain to clean it up. So I do it slowly - pump out the water, clean the polluted air, and then start digng the slime blocks which is very time consuming. And you just went in without any issues and cleaned up the whole space.
"Al-gay" heheheh. (it's pronounced as "el-gee", where "el" sounds like in bell, and "gee" sounds like the letter G) :) Great video man. Nice tempo, packed with low key knowledge. Sweet.

Good point! Rime could be excellent for that. Or it could prevent the farming from starting if we are unlucky. still worth a try.
Tam seni ariyordum buldum. :P
I love how i dont understand this
Just discovered your channel a few days ago and i must say your content is great!! love the edits and the information in the subtitles!! great content my dude♥
Thanks alot :)
I'd love to see you try this challenge again.
Something like: >3-more Videos of let's play = 1 Episode of edited Lets play
What do you think?
that was honestly quite impressive i think my brain would of exploded on the first cycle
What a great try at this CRAZY challenge loved every second of the video!!!
Lmaoo the sound they make when you unpause them at 1:48
Definitely felt like having Pacus + Shovels early would've destroyed food production.
Awesome video! Would love to see a second attempt using lessons learned from this one
Will probably do that one day :)
I don't know if this has been written here, but the No drop//by @Ony mod wouldn't hurt this walkthrough.
P.s - written through google translator
Hey, hey, I thought about that before but decided against it, because it would have made the whole challenge (a small bit) easier. And i am sure a few people would have scolded me in the comments.
This was so fun! Would love to see an updated version
Very enjoyable and stressful game it was fun to see a way stressful situation play out. (makes my game seem easier) would love to watch another attempt at this!
Would love to see you try this again and maybe just keep going after to see how many dupes you have left at 100 cycles
This video is such great quality! I adore oni, it’s a wonder i’ve never found your channel before.
Glad you liked it and that the chsnnel still gets discovered.
Watched this many times and still get stressed out just from watching.
Same :D. Even thinking about it stresses me.
Definitely try this again!
Thats actually pretty cool technique for training on speed runs.
thanks this video helped me a lot the game can be pretty frustrating sometimes but its still realy fun.
This was amazing to watch :D
Very educational
You should try again!
I love your editing style!
Highly entertaining! Thanks for editing it so it fit into a 30 min video :D Please do a video on cooling systems next

you should do this again, it was very fun to watch
For the nest attempt i recomend that you put the night owls and early birds on two seprate settings, nightowls sleep in the morning early birds work all morning earlybirds go to sleep at night and night owls work at night.
I thought about that, but the fact i would have had to click through all the dupes while having the vital-screen (and other screens)-LAG deterred me.
But for the next attempt i will try to do that. Thanks for the reminder. And if you have a tip to identify those Dupes faster i gladly take it.
@@Luma_plays yea- im pretty new but those bonus stat boosters are good and you should sort them out by that every now and then lol
Hilarious mayhem! Loved it ✨
I saw the title of the vid and went into a fit of laughter
Ahh well, I hope to see another attempt soon, it’s very interesting to see how you build.
amazing video, cant imagine myself passing the first 5 days
Great video, I'm ready to play some more ONI now
These translated vids are very nice, nice to see all the talents around the globe
Please try this challenge again. I would love to see it.❤❤❤❤
Well, at least you have some spare food.
Awesome series! I hope you keep it up
Respect for the effort. That was an insane ride.
I would have gotten those poles up as fast as I could, I didn't see them until like 25 cycles in or something!
That is a good point. I will try to invorporate that in future tries.
Not sure why i didn't do that. I think i needed the metal for the spom first (or that is what I thought)
I'd like to see you try the challenge "How quickly can you exclusively feed your duplicants on frost burgers?". Could you do it within 100 cycles?
Wit my current skill probably not. I actually have never made Frostburgers. There was no need yet.
But if i train it i guess it is possible. exclusively could also mean i push the base with many dupes but instead of feeding all i let all but 1 die? which would make it easier to feed them exclusively 😁
holy, this looks way too chaotic for me, glad u managed lol
Well i did loose though 😅
I would love to see this challenge again! Challenges do make old games feel new
I will come up with a few more challenges and maybe give this one a go again in the future.
Amazing video! It’s something fresh. Plus I love the editing! More please!
This was really fun to watch.
Yes, YES, ALL THE YES!
always loved future self moments lol
It's actually insane to think you will need 20 oxygen pumps to "breath" the 100dupes that is 10water oxidizer aka 10kg of water per second(you probably need like 3water geysers)(forgor the mouth breathers)
Yes that is the amount needed. I guess if you get further than cycle 50 with so many dupes the sand might become sparse as well. so no more filtration. But there is alot of ice in the planet.
new sub, would love to see you get to 100, i believe in you
That was a lot of fun, is there a follow-up a ttempt or something similar?
Thank you :).
Not yet, but i plan on adding more videos in that style if i can manage to repeat it.
Oooh we would love if you could try again
after such videos, I want to start playing again, but I can't physically 😭
I wanna see another attempt at this
Really entertaining video, thank you for the effort
finnaly worth the wait
"Al-gay" heheheh. (it's pronounced as "el-gee", where "el" sounds like in bell, and "gee" sounds like the letter G) :)
Great video man. Nice tempo, packed with low key knowledge. Sweet.
Thanks man, i try to remember that one :D.
i still do have lots of pronunciation mistakes that i don't even know where wrong. Thanks for pointimg it out. (not sarcasm; it really helps). That way i learn how to (hopefully) pronounce them correct 😅
And thank you for the nice comment :)
@@Luma_plays Honestly, the rest of your speech was quite flawless, just a bit of an accent and that's what makes a UA-camr unique!
Great show mate.
Yes, verify how concerned you see about duplicate labor.
Loved the rush..with music
Try again! loved it
So.. start everything earlier? Alright, I'll get on that, right after I build better bathrooms!
Probably. As soon as you can. And dig more than i did to collect more seeds
amazing play well done
This was super cool to watch. Would you consider making a second attempt video?
Its crazy how far and big the Base was by just Day 8 lmao
True, 100 Dupes are really good for quick progress. Until you need skillpoints.. :D
Hi! Could you please make a run with only flatulent dubes? I would be more than excited to see how one deals with them in the colony, managing the natural gas.
I heard that the way of dealing with them is to not have them. Is the situation that bad with them?
God that looks more stressful than lob corp.
Спасибо за русские субтитры, очень крутое видео, ты потрясающий!!!!❤
