While doing some tuning on my Vespa Grande, showing the method I used for removing and installing the variator.
Variator work on my Vespa Grande Batavus. Removing Vespa moped variator. Installing Vespa moped variator. Vespa variator mod, removing brass spacer restrictor.
Vespa Malossi Belt installation. Polini variator or Malossi variator installation. The performance belts and vairators can be installed similar to the OEM Vespa variator.
Vespa grande moped, vespa si moped, vespa bravo moped, vespa ciao moped.

New moped rider on a '78 Grande and looking around these are some of the best videos I've been able to find about working on the bike which exciting because I want to use it as an opportunity to learn some engine work. New to working on mopeds. So I’m slightly confused on what you did there. Did you just grind up that plate, which is the restrictor to get more speed?
The brass bushing in between is a restrictor, if you grind it down it can variate more and allow for more top speed.
@@MopedRich what did you use to grind it up just curious? More curious how much To grind it down. Great video and song choice btw
@@jeffreyheath3382 thanks for the kind words. I used an angle grinder with a grinding disc. I grided the brass down till it was flush with the cheeks of the variator.

I'm not sure where you would find it in India.
