As a kid, I never triggered the drive forms for the fear of wasting them on an easy target. Even with the final boss I thought 'What if there's another boss ahead?'

I was fighting Xigbar and tried to use Master Form, and all of a sudden, "Oh hey. I'm white. And flying. And holding floating Keyblades. This seems legit."

It was like that with anti form for me. I tried to use valor and got this. I remember being so confused. The worst part was that when I went to search it, I couldn't due to the fact that I didn't know the form's name at the time. Yeah, I guess I could've paused during the form being active and all but when you experience a move set that fucking crazy, would YOU have?
Nep Nep In my first time i unlocked that in the Xemnas fight, i was realy happy until i discover that this is random and in KH2 (not FM) the game's final screen (the one that shows your progress) doesn't end, its like those SNES games where you have to reset the game, so i lost the form and it take me a while to get it again :(

anti forms my favorite its just so badass to go feral though it does get a bit fustrating when you trigger it in boss battles.

it’s so awesome, i wouldn’t really love going into it due to its setbacks, but it’s combos are so long, and it’s so fast
i got him in sephiroth battle, i wass full pissed of that i lose 5 time to his one hit life end+reaction fucking comand, he was about to use it i try to go to master and use the invencibility time (transforming) to save my ass, And it tecnicaly work, but i became anti sora (yes, i was with the 2 become 1 keyblade, and i din't know his effect), And i With Literally LUCK, Win using anti-sora, i go to call cloud, i was literally full of rage of after all of that i could not end with Sephiroth ass, and in the first battle i try to go to valor and i got final, Ia was so Rage that this op Form don't show when i need

Maybe the way he fights but he is actually helpless in combat especially on critical mode, real pros only use final, limit, and master.

5. Wisdom Form: The Thunder Spam is a nice touch, but Master Form gets Master Magic. This thing has no offensive prowess outside of thunder. This is a simply outclassed form.
4. Limit Form: This is definitely my favorite form, but does that mean it's the best? It's Dodge Roll ability allows you to keep close, while being able to unleash fairly strong limits and keep on the offensive while also being defensive. It also allows you to keep Donald and Goofy, and also lets you use guard, which is no laughing matter. But you usually only use this when you don't have Donald and Goofy, against people like Sephiroth. And the invincibility frames are so broken that all it takes for the bosses to break it is to intercept your attack or be unaffected, which could lead to you getting killed. The physical combos and finishers are too slow and have so much lag time in between that one revenge counter could finish you off. The form also isn't very fast, relies to heavily on MP, and even though the cost to use the form is low, you sure as hell can't sustain it.
3. Valor Form: Doesn't combo as fast as Master Form. Therefore, Valor Form adds for a more adaptable, strategic fighting style while keeping the power boost. Valor Form also allows for easier finisher use, allowing you to hit an enemy hard before hitting their revenge value. The combos are very fluid and allow you to keep checks on both the aerial and ground spectrum. The loss of the guard ability and magic is a tad annoying, but this is moderately cushioned by the fact that Donald is still there, ready to heal if you ever get into a pickle. And unlike that godawful Antiform, you can still pick up HP orbs and use items, so whatever. Late game into a boss battle, Valor form is actually a great form for cleaning up a vulnerable boss for controllable finishers and solid combos that don't trigger the revenge value as much, so there is a lot of point to it. The only weaknesses I see are lack of reliable healing items, no guarding prowess, and no real answer for a revenge value counter, if it comes to that. But because of it's low drive cost, you could also use it as a cheap way to restore your MP and HP, which is amazing considering the crazy shit you'll have to face later on (Terra cough).
2. Master Form: Master Form has more combo potential, being able to unleash CRAZY shit that makes Final Form's aerial combos look basic. Master Form also gets Master Magic, which gives your magic a terrifying boosts and turns them all into finishers, allowing for a quick finish in a situation of desperation. Master Magic Thunder is a godsend to combos, allowing for damage on the magic and physical side, extra hits for Hero's Crest (The Keyblade you should have on this form), powerful damage, and ultimate combo potential. Master Form's aerial finishers are absolutely devastating, and with the added boost from Hero's Crest, something dies. FAST. However, the Master Form has it's problems too. For one, it cannot do ground combos, meaning any AP wasted on improving those become useless. You have to use up Donald, your only other reliable source of healing, meaning your left vulnerable if you use up too much MP on Master Magic Thunder. Which brings me to my next point. Without that same MP, you can't use Reflega, meaning you can't guard. Basically a sitting duck. And while Master Form does have a lot of combos, they are also very long, and you will hit the revenge value long before you finish, which is not good at all seeing as how it leaves you wide open. I usually prefer to use Master Form to take out large hordes of enemies instead of bosses. Still this form is a monster.
1. Final Form: This form is the most balanced and powerful form. It's magic, physical strength and combos and reliability are unmatched.

Technically your strength goes up by 2 in that Form. It's not weaker than regular Sora

1. Final Form: You can glide, and it's the most powerful form.
2. Anti Form: It's dangerous to use and you can't heal, use weapons/magic, but is powerful in it's own right when used properly. Very underrated form.
3. Master Form: It's the best of both worlds with Valor & Wisdom Form.
4. Valor Form: First time you could dual wield and kick a lot of ass.
5. Wisdom Form: Extremely fast and you can shoot with your keyblade.
(I've never played Limit Form so I have no opinion on it).

No s**t, Final Form is the best form. There's a reason why we couldn't get the form until the near end of the game.....

I personally liked master and used it a lot. It was actually probably my favorite next to valor... because it pretty much is valor but with magic
Valor was honestly my favorite form, the combos were just wild and it just does so much damage.

1. Limit form only barely beats final form because it is more useful in boss fights

Maria Clark Valor is amazing, most people don't think its useful mostly because its your first form and your keyblades don't float.

1. Wisdom form. The most fun firm to use and i beat enemies easier in this form than any other. In my opinion, most powerful form.

Final, because it and master I enjoyed grinding up to max level, then Valor, then Wisdom, I haven't played FM yet, so limit will be added to this when I finally play with it.
I hate how wisdom form is so underrated. All these buttonmashers are just too dumb to use magic.
Yeah man. Wisdom and Master are my favorite. With Wisdom you can rapid fire Blizzard and ram enemies with Fire, and with Master your Blizzard turns into a shotgun like blast and you circle around enemies with Thunder. Valor is next to useless especially if you play on Critical mode like I do.

Exist64 Yeah, High Jump MAX is kinda cool but when you are in the middle of action, a block would have been cool. They should have given him the ability to block in the middle of a combo and unleash some kind of devastating counterattack.

first off, yeah, jump MAX is really epic. But blocking midcombo plus counterattack seems kind of overpowered to me, normal blocking would be absolutely enough in my opinion. I mean, valor is one of the "lower" forms after all, since you only need to sacrafice goofy
I maxed out Wisdom, didn't enjoy it, I understood the whole use magic in this form, but you don't have unlimited magic, if they gave you unlimited magic in wisdom, I would use the fuck out of it, but I normally end up going to master or final to spam magic, because then I can buttonsmash and use badass magic at the same time.
I guess this IS favorites and to each his own but Limit Form is way better than any form.Reasons?
- Sonic Rave is near invincible
- All limits do a crap ton of damage
- Each successful strike from a limit heals you
- Can be used AT all times after it's acquired
- Using dodge roll while the form is active is the best escape tool in the game (outside of some really dumb battles
The only down side to this form is you don't get a traditional heal and you don't possess powerful semi-invincible air limits as well as access to more useful regular abilities.
If this form kept the original invincibility for Strike Raid it'd be undeniably the best

Don't get me wrong, Limit Form is one of the best form. But I'd prefer Master Form or Final Form in most situations.
Sosuke Aizen Of course it has it's disadvantages but every form is a tool and I don't rely on any of them "defeat" bosses anyways. However in fights where you are alone like Roxas and Axel you have the busted advantage of Limit Form.

You can trigger Anti-Form.
1. Get into any drive form.
2. Get hurt. A lot. A LOT. But survive.
3. Wait for Drive Form to wear off.
(???. Maybe walk to another area first.)
4. Once some enemies spawn near you, choose the same drive form that you chose last time.
5. Enjoy.
it doesn't work that way it works like this: Every time you use a drive form besides final form it adds lets called them anti form points and the highert those points the higher the chance to go anti form. But if you go into final form (or when you aquire the final form) it subtracts points
Or you can just obtain the Serendipitous Duo Keyblade and drive into any form but Final Form. You will always be forced into Anti-form

Quick question during this video when your showing these forms the drive meter is on 0 but your not changing back to normal sora so i was wondering if you like hacked the game or if there is like an ability or something that you can get in the game but either way please tell me the answer whenever you got the time
first time when i got anti form i was just normally playing in beast's castle and activating wisdom form and then i see like sora as heartless
How'd you get endless drive?
You actually don't have to wait for the gauge to run out while in Anti form. You can just go into another room and you'll emerge normally, I believe.

4 limit
5 final.

Since there are six, I'm going to list them all.
6. Anti-Form. This one comes in last place. Not only because are yoi unable to heal yourself, but it practically has no defensive measures. Also, Strength and Defense is lowered in that form. The attacks are cool though and Sora is really fast so that's cool.
5. Valor Form. Sora is a little faster and A LOT more powerful, so that's plus. It's also very evasive with the High Jump ability. The downside to this form is that it doesn't have much range and not many defensive capabilities. The only way to heal yourself is if you use an item.
4. Wisdom Form. This one is pretty under-rated, but I think it's very useful. First off, it comes with an automatic MP Hastega, so MP restores extremely fast. Magic power is also killer. The long range attacks are very useful against bulky and slow enemies. Dowside to this form is that it doesn't move well. The jump isn't high and the movement is slow until you use the Dash ability.
3. Master Form. The is one is really good because Magic combos can be used indefinitely (until the MP gauge is depleted) and Magic is extremely powerful too. It is also has great combo finishes.
2. Final Form. This form is just OP. Everything is enhanced dramatically. It's arial combinations are better than the Master Form combos IMO.
1. Limit Form. I don't have Final Mix, so I have never used this form before. But I can just tell that it is hands down the most intelligent one to use. Using the Limits restores HP, and it requires no party members. I am sure it makes the ridiculouslly hard boss fights seem like a piece of cake. If I had Final Mix, it would be my official KH 'staple'. XD

5. Valor Form. Now, don't get me wrong, I love this one, but when I was younger it wasn't all that for me. I was a ps2 noob.
4. Wisdom form. The reason for this is, since Kingdom Hearts 2 was the only game I actually understood, I knew that if I kept dying, its because I was so close to the enemy. So I always activated wisdom form. I also loved sonic, and it reminded me of Sonic.
3. Master form. I actually don't remember why I liked this drive. I need to go back and play KH2, but one thing I do remember was that it made me feel like a master.
2.Anti Sora. I just wanted a four legged venom as a playable character. That's what I got. Not only that, it's the same reason in the video.
1.Final Form. Same reason in the video, and the fact it looked so freaking COOL

soo how do you stay in the forms after you lose all drive points?
There are 2 gauges. The Drive gauge and the Form Gauge. No difference accept one represents inactivity and the other represents when a form or summon is active. The drive gauge also lets you know which form is possible to trigger. 3 for Wisdom and Valor. 4 for Limit, 5 for Master and any higher than that all form including Final. Without upgrades after your form gauge empties your drive gauge starts at 1 ALWAYS. It increases with 1 for every upgrade you get. The max drive is 9. AT BEST you can enter Valor and Wisdom 3 times, Limit twice, and Master and Final Form once. Unless you have Final Mix...after you defeat Terra you get additional gauge letting you enter Master form twice in one sitting. After reverting twice the gauge goes to zero (1 if you have obtained all drive upgrades in Final Mix)

Whenever I enter a drive form none of the moves are accessible . I went into limit form during a battle in hollow bastion and all the moves were gray and I couldn't use them . This happens in all my forms so Im reduced to just using regular combos . Explain ?

Well, you pretty much can trigger anti form. You can equip the Two Become One keyblade (the one you get after beating Roxas) and choose anything other than Final Form.
Of course, this is only in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

My reasoning for this list is mainly on how I played. Wisdom form looks cool, but it never really seemed powerful to me. Anti form, while powerful and fast, is also deadly to yourself since there's no healing. It can sometimes be a touch from death during boss fights. Valor Form is good for attacks, but I only really used it early on as you need items to heal I think. Limit Form is just awesome, and is my personal favorite. Especially since you get Dodge Roll from it, which I missed immensely in KH2. Final Form is easily the best form... if not for the drain on the Drive meter. It seems like the form is always over so quickly. This isn't such a problem when you have all 9 Drive guages, but until you have at least 7 or 8 I find it too short to be the most effective. Master Form comes in first place due to the length at which you can be in it, and the power you have in it. It's basically just Sora upgraded to have the power of Valor, and the magic of Wisdom.

That's like saying what's the use of dual wielding. Its all about power, speed, and flexibility. Besides if you're like me, I'd rather have strength over magic any day.

Rico Garcia na dude think about it. Valor is physical strength, and wisdom is magical. Master as the name implies is mastery over both. And final is full control of all that plus all the untapped power of the keyblade.
Actually, there IS a way to turn Anti form 100% (no hacks) but it's only possible on final mix, luckly 2.5 is on the way and we'll be able to do this then!
So u basically do this: Equip "two become one" (it's a keyblade) and if you don't have final form yet, this basically gives you a 50/100 chance to turn into final form, however, if you already own final form, it will GARANTEE that you turn into anti form (when you choose to turn into valor wisdom or master). Hope this helped :)

Why you guys fighting over how useless Wisdom or Valor is while Master exists?
Valor are more concentrated on physical attacks, it's actually better than master, besides it has more combos and an amazing finish move.
Wisdom has more magic usage in it, plus it has the best effects on magic.
Master is balanced but it can't surpass any section from the above, it sorta has it all but not to the maximum.
Anti-form is fucking beast! it acts like a revenge, because if you're choosing any form and you're taking too much damage than you picked the same form you'll turn into anti-form and shit on whatever the thing that hits you.
Limit is basic.
Final form: The name pretty much explains it all, i agree though that final form is better than everything above.
If i ever had the chance to pick a certain form or even 2 i would go with Valor and anti-form.
+Sasuke Uchiha valor certainly doesn't seem to do more dps than master. it does have the ability to pull a finisher out whenver it wants, but its finisher sucks worse than the basic ones! while master has a finisher that turns you into an invincible black hole. more combos is usually a bad thing because you're vulnerable while doing combos and finishers interrupt enemy movement. max out combo minus and finishing plus with master and you're just a vortex of doom. and then yes its magical abilities beat the pants off of wisdom, largely because it can chain them mid combo. and it doesn't have valor's inability to heal or wisdom's helplessness when lacking magic.
final SORT of gives it a run for it's money, but since it's hard to control and its doesn't have the awesome chaining magic, it's not quite up to par. while you're spazzing out on some long super move the enemy has gone into an invincible phase and is charging up to hit you as soon as you drop out of it.
6. ANTI FORM: THIS FORM IS THE WORST BECAUSE YOU TRANSFORM INTO IT WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT YOU TAKE 2X THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE, AND YOU CAN'T HEAL. In critical mode against a boss this form is a major killer.
5. WISDOM FORM: I don't know why, this form I didn't really find all that useful, it lacks on attacking and is only really useful to me against some of the XIII mushrooms or for Quick Run or Demyx.
4. VALOR FORM: This form is pretty cool looking and does a lot more damage against a boss or enemy than Wisdom will. The only downfall of this form is that you cannot use magic and items are your only source of healing.
3. MASTER FORM: Although most people may say that this form is useless, it is actually really useful and quite OP if you know just how to use it.
2. FINAL FORM: This form is extremely OP and has great strength and magic. It is useful for almost all situations. The only problem I have with this form is that sometimes it's hard to control.
1. LIMIT FORM: This form by far takes the cake. It is useful for every single conflict in this game. Each time you hit something with your limit it deals damage and also brings back health to you at the same time. Not to mention that it has the most OP finisher in the game Zantetsuken which can take up to 4 health bars off an enemy, and looks cool doing it.

So... Um... Anti form isn't the worst by a long shot, you only take times damage because it's nearly impossible to get hit unless you're button mashing, you just messed up, or aren't really fighting with it and is just wasting time because you dislike the form.
Wisdom form only sucks if you don't like using magic attacks.
Well, I guarantee if you go around and ask many of the great players of kingdom hearts 2 final mix, even they will say that anti form is a run killer. It isn't just about button mashing when it comes to things such as speed running the game. Usually though you'll want to do as much damage to the boss and fast! Their is no time for running around and playing it safe because you lose a lot if time, which would not happen if you anti form wasn't such a bug problem...
And wisdom form IS bad on certain bosses that are IMMUNE to magic attacks which makes you resort to using either Limit Form or Final Form because in both of those forms do you deal MASSIVE damage and can still be some what safe and heal as well..

Wisdom is my favorite to use. Free movement while attacking, and range, allowing you to poke your foes from a safe distance.

You forgot one thing about final form. EVERYTHING you do is an attack. I mean whether you're jumping, flying even, when you use reflect. So heartless, nobodies, and super bosses alike fear (or should fear) final form. Also if you use reflect sometimes Sora break dances in final form. SO AWESOME.
In Anti-Form, Sora fights like Jak from the Jak and Daxter series, like he's on cocaine... But still the way Sora fights is AWESOME!!!

Final form is my favorite as well. If you dual wield fenrir and Ultima weapon together in this form you will destroy EVERYTHING. I went back to a few boss fights that I found really hard to see if there was a difference and my god was there. I killed most of them in seconds and even the longest ones were less than a minute. This form combo is god like to where you don't even have to try. I love it!
i have to correct you on something. His key blades do not float behind him in final form. His arms are linked to his key blades so were ever his arm moves they move.

2. Wisdom (Love the gliding and the long range attacks)
3. Valor (The attacks are amazing, and was very useful in the start)
4. Master (Love the strength of this one, but hated the finisher)

final form is totally my favorite cuz of the fact you can trigger it by entering master randomly, and anti-form is indeed unique and is also my favorite color (black)

a good top ten for u to do next is best/most helpful abilities...like what did you use most and what saved you most.
I've found a way to trigger Anti-Form, at least in the original KH2. When ever Sora activates a Rive Form if an enemy enters the shell that surrounds Sora, he'll automatically enter Anti-Form.
Honestly I found master form more usefull than valor form, because of the magic boost and the strong air combo's. I really don't like the antiform or darkness form because it also prevents you from gaining exp, which is kinda annoying. But that's just my opinion =D
How come your drive gauge doesn't deplete at zero?
Master is my favorite. It just looks so fucking cool and the abilities are really unique and stand out, especially when it comes to magic
Limit form has to be the one of the best forms because you can use moves that are from first game and you don't need to use party members. It really helped me in Roxas battle

Anti form: sora is covered in darkness and losses his keyblade not to mention is SUPER fast and LOTS of combos
Rage form: sora gets losses his light but still has the keyblade. Upon activation sora gets full health! But he has 4 finishers 1. Risk charge: takes a crap load of health away for shut damage 2. Risk charge: AGAIN?! 3. You guessed is:risk charge 4. Finish!! Sora creates a pool of darkness letting out crazy explosions!
I really hope that we can have Drive Forms in KH3. Maybe we can have a special form that is is triggered when the x-blade is forged.
Maybe Sora will have Keyblade armor in KH3! :D
That could be the first form. Or as the game progresses, he gets different kinds of armor.

There will be my fellow fan! The demo trailer showed Sora's drive gauge, plus there's talk of new forms. Just have to sit back and wait through the year until KH3 is dropped. Hopefully!

I liked master form. It was cool and unique and focused more on being agile and unable to hit than just attacks, while also dealing heavy damage. I just like Mickey, the one who gave you it.

I wasn't a huge fan of Master Form myself, but you should've mentioned the Disaster ability. That thing was insane, I think it one shot enemies

Final form is my favorite to but i think a lot of people will choose that form but if we were not counting final form it would be valor form and limit looks really cool but have not had the chance to try it yet but cant wait look crazy and love that you don't need your party members to use it

I'm playing 2.5. I was getting wrecked in the roxas fight. Limit form helped me beat him in like 30 secs by spamming ragnorok😁
Aaaaaaawww he forgot to mention how the keyblades attack independently whenever you jump or glide in final form. Which is what makes final form so useful for me because the independent attacking allows you to reflect and gaurd AND attack just by jumping.
imma noob but how do the valor forms actually work like i know it depends on goofy and daffy and stuff but its still a bit fuzzy to me

I'd have to go with:
6. Anti Form: cool looking but if you trigger it during a boss or tough enemy battle you are totally screwed because even an sneeze will stagger you and/or send you flying. No healing sucks too.
5. Valor Form: Powerful, cool and fast against weak enemies but enemies that can deflect attacks can totally kick your ass. High Jump is a great growth ability though.
4. Wisdom Form: As mentioned in the video, this is an interesting form. It's useful to avoid damage more than damaging enemies and that makes it better than Valor IMO. It helps that the magic bullets penetrate enemy defenses but using this form against flying enemies is hell. Quick Run is useful to get around faster until you get Glide.
3. Master Form: Really powerful but it's hard to pull of a finisher without getting staggered. The tornado finisher makes this form worthwhile though. Besides, if used with Thunder boosters, this form obliterates any enemies on screen. Aerial Dodge is extremely useful.
2. Final Form: This form is just too powerful and provides the most useful growth skill. Best form to quickly dispatch most enemies. Only con is that bosses that don't stagger will break your combos and send you flying over and over.
1. Limit Form: Overpowered as hell. It may not be as flashy as Final but it's deals damage much faster. The block is a huge improvement over the regular one, it has Dodge Roll and it looks really cool. And the Limits deal insane damage, have invincibility frames and heal you even if they damage the enemy. Not having to sacrifice party members is great for those battles where you have to fight alone. Definitely the most versatile and powerful form.
