Not sure of this counts but the most memorable KH moment for me was the intro for DDD. Just the amount of memories that came flowing back to me was overwhelming. I still get chills thinking about it today.

My favorite Epic Moment was the KHBBS trailer featuring the main heroes fighting Venitas and Xehanort, the magic was super good looking and their mobility in the cut scene was epic. Unfortunately the cut scene did not look as good on the actual game, but i remember watching the cut scene daily until i finally got a PSP!
My epic moment number 1: When Xehanort absorbed Terra's body and thinks that he has won ( reciting that awesome darkness speech from Ansem Seeker of Darkness ) And Terra's armor, possessed by Terra's incredibly strong will, begins to move on its own. In the same manner as it did when we first fought the Lingering Will in KH 2. "Rage Awakened" begins and you know Terranort is in for a world of hurt! Gave me goosebumps.
Number One wasn't all that epic to me at all, the music wasn't epic and the fight was waaaaaay too easy. My number one would definitely be Sora/Riku vs Xemnas, especially the part where Sora and Riku are surrounded by lasers.

+yung letti have to agree, the laser wall of doom was just an epic moment, my personal all time favorite. I'd have to say that that fight itself was much too easy, but the way it was presented made it feel like a final closing fight, and like we had the upper hand by being 2v1.
I honestly love getting the knight heartless stuck on the wall during the 1000 heartless battle, it's just entertaining to see 10 or so heartless stuck floating in midair while being stuck on a wall.
I really appreciate you making these videos for all the Kingdom Hearts fans. It keeps us sane and provides us with our Kingdom Hearts fix while we wait for Kingdom Hearts 3.

i got to the last health bar once before and was going to quit till i got the ultima weapon but i got lucky with reflect hax so its not much of an achievement

I remember seeing the Deep Dive at the end of KH1 when I was pretty young. I'm still not quite sure why, but I assumed those numbers meant how many games there would be, so I went out telling everyone my favorite games were Kingdom Hearts 1-13.

Victor Vaz because it was hard as hell and I died like 20+ times! Then again, I never really got use to that card battle mechanism in that game so I only have myself to blame.. I still hate him.

something that i love in kingdom hearts 2 is the way that the fusion forms still active in the cutscenes, in some scenes you seems so epic and doing silly stuff xd
Epic moments for me. KH2 Sephiroth Battle and cutscenes KH2 Xemnas duels - whether in the skyscraper, or the white realm of nothingness (final battle) KH2 Mickey in the hood KH2 1000 Heartless battle, and the lead up scenes to it. KHBBS Lingering Will vs Terranort. And everything in the Keyblade Graveyard KHDDD End cutscene with the 13 Norts and the rescue from Riku, Mickey and Lea. All the Roxas moments are more... heart-wrenching than epic. But I relate to them better and so, they are better than epic moments.
For the most epic moment came from that cutscene in KH2 when all of FF characters fight those heartless and than you get the chance to fight along side them. I love playing that part!
I would have added the scene before the fight against Riku controlled by Ansem. That was really epic too! The moment Ansem descends, the way you are understanding what happend with Kairi, and the moment she screams from your inside to stops Riku's attack! The fight is just amazing! It was the first time you fight a boss without any kind of help... and what boss!!! I love your videos, and I agree with all the epic moments. Like!!!
The 1000 Heartless battle is and will always be my favorite Kingdom Hearts moment. Especially since when I first got to it, I didn't notice the counter. When the battle ended I noticed it and was like "OH MY GOD I KILLED 1000 HEARTLESS!!".

I know i'm 3 months late with replying to your bullshit here. But do take note that this is about the most epic *moments.* As in; does not necessarily need to include gameplay as a factor (we can all admit that the 1000x heartless fight was easy af). Pay attention to the fact that he gave a cutscene (which does not involve gameplay whatsoever) 2nd place. So looking beyond the gameplay factor. You can't deny that Sora wrecking 1k heartless in one go is pretty damn epic.

before the 1000 heartless fight there was the epic conversation between leon and cloud where they are standing back to back and joking. there's a word that can describe it: badass
My top epic moment is the Showdown at Hollow Bastion cutscene right before the 1000 heartless. I mean, you just figured out the leader of organization, mickey runs off to catch him, dolan and goffy are off fighting as well, and you are on your own running at 1000 heartless of knights and surveillance things along with the best suspenseful music ever! ITS SO AWESOME!

Fight of 1000 Heartless(especially with Limit Form)/ Deep Dive I'm Sorry Roxas is just so fucking awesome man 2.The Part before you fight Xemnas and have to cut the buildings and perform Parcore awesome/BBS KH2 Secret Trailer 1. Sora and Riku vs Xemnas(mostly just the end when you have to deflect all of Xemnas's Etherial Blades just so much awesome and fun in that alone I LOVE KH2) If I had to change something I would make Deep Dive Number 2 and Make the entire Xemnas fight my Number 1 from the parcore to the Dragon to the Dome Etherial Blade defecting with Sora and Riku

One of my most epic moments (though it wasn't story related or anything) was in KH2, I was fighting Twilight Thorn, and it did the weird special QTE thing, and after I did it, when it's face hit the ground, it dies, stuck with only his face on the ground, it was badass.
You forgot the real #1: Fighting the newly formed Terranort with Lingering Will at the end of Terra's story. Also I feel it's necessary to mention Sephiroth's fights.
Seeing this takes me back, kingdom hearts 2 is the first kh I ever played. I was confused for years. Game series really made little sense to me until I also played 1 and chains of memories.
The twilight thorn was cool for me too, because the whole time I was like "Why is there a picture of Sora on the ground and *HOLY SHIT IM FLYING IN THE AIR HOLY SHIT HE TOPPLED THE FUCKING PLATFORM OVER* "

This was an awesome list, but if I were to add on 2 more, it would be the Birth By Sleep, Final Mix secret ending. Seeing the 3 unknown Keyblade wielders battle it out with the unknown man that reminded me of Ansem with the awesome soundtrack and then Mickey showing up at the end, my heart was thumping. Another moment would be the beginning if the final battle of Kingdom Hearts II. The way Sora cut through the buildings flying at him and how he leapt of top of them all Matrix style had me flipping out!!!! It was soooo epic!!!!!
The 1000 Heartless Battle was so good, it has such a Dynasty Warrior vibe to it where you have endless enemies that you can just mow down in increasing numbers, its just awesome.

Keyblade Graveyard segment for Aqua, Terra and Ven (including all cutscenes from when they meet up in the Graveyard) 1. 1000 Heartless Battle (made a separate save just to play it again and again. I remember the first time I played this in 2.5 (first time playing KH was the remixes) I was screaming and jumping everywhere)!
5. Beating Ansem 2 ('Cause my brother would rage quit and I was only 11!) 4. Fighting Terrnort and Guardian with Aqua. (...I really love this battle.) 3. Fighting Ansem in 3D. (Maybe it's Destati, but it feels epic to me.) 2. Beating Xigbar in 2.5 with Anti-form. (Activating at the worst possible time.) 1. Defeating my first secret boss, Kurt Zisa. (Phantom still scares me. D'8) And seriously, 13 dislikes? *Shakes fist at screen* Xeeehaaanooort!!!
You know the deep dive cutscene is also the last level and last battle in 358/2 days. I love the cutscene, yhe visuals in it are amazing. But I feel that actually getting to fight riku as the dual weilding roxas is soo much cooler.
In order. Tarzan world, kirchak/chamelion boss. Darkness riku in hollow bastion. Roxas/axel in twilight town. Battle of 1000 in hollow bastion. And lastly the final fight with xemnas in KH II throughout the whole thing with riku slicing the buildings in half, it just got me going for the 20 mins or so of the boss fight absolutely brilliant and enjoyable even dieing the first 15 times. I loved it
One of most epic moments for me was the final xeanort fight in kh2 specifically when he fired all those laser beams at you all at once and you have to button mash the ever living shit out your controller to not get hit. Just the still frame while sora and riku flipping over each other while still seeing the horde of lasers just did it for me. Gotta admit I mashed so hard my arms started to rising up without me doing it

The battle of 1000 heartless the magnet and fire spam was over 9000 there magnet, jump, fire rinse and repeat. I am surprised that you didn't put either of the opening cut-scenes/movies because for me the opening for kingdom hearts II will always stick in my mind.
that 1000 heartless battle was to epic. I had to go through the game twice to play through it again man. I really hope in kingdom hearts 3 you have to go against 3000 enemies 1000 heartless 1000 nobodies 1000 unverse. That will be a sweet battle

I can't decide between the 1,000 heartless battle and the part in the battle against Xemnas where you have to deflect the lasers. Regardless, Kh2 was full of epicness.
For me the most epic moment is when your fighting xemnas along side Riku and he starts shooting hundreds of lasers at you and your mashing the buttons deflecting them all. I felt so badass as a kid when that happened.
Two from Dream Drop Distance 1) Riku’s boss fight against Young Xehanort. Riku is going up against the toughest opponent ever seen in a Kingdom Hearts game, who was previously a bonus boss, and wins. Yes, it’s one of those tricky condition fights but for sheer scale, against someone who can overcome Stopza, it’s an awesome achievement. 2) The scene in with Riku in Sora’s Heart that manifests as the Destiny Islands. We see Roxas, Ventus and Xion as well as Ansem the Wise of all people. It shows that Roxas, Ventus and Xion still exist within Sora’s Heart as their own personalities, which is especially touching in Xion’s case. It’s a subdued scene but it’s awesome in that we see a new side to Ansem the Wise that reveals not only has Riku woken Sora from the nightmare he was trapped in (only Aqua’s armour remains unfought at this point) but they have access to the means to possibly restore those sheltering in Sora’s Heart. The icing on the cake is the callback to Kingdom Hearts 2, where Riku tells Ansem his name. After everything that’s happened to Sora there’s hope going forward. The Ventus boss fight against Vanitas in Birth by Sleep is also epic, as Ventus is fighting inside his heart against the manifestation of his darkness. While it’s another technically tricky one it’s still impressive.
I... Don't understand why he didn't include the final battle between Sora and Riku vs Xemnas. To me, that was definitely one of the most epic battles in Kingdom Hearts... I always love it when Sora fights solo or with one other person... It really lets his true power shine, because I feel like his comrades kind of bring him down some he/I depend on them too much. Makes the rewards that much sweeter. That final scene where he took his own Keyblade and Riku's Keyblade and just wailed on Xemnas was amazing.... In fact, the whole last part of that battle was amazing, where they were surrounded by a dome of lasers and you had to mash the buttons like crazy in order to defend yourself... Longest. Thirty. Seconds. Ever.
If you watch the boundary break for kingdom hearts 2. It shows the 1000 heartless fights and the ones further from you are just sprites but as they get closed they kind of zip to sora

I agree with this list except for the twilight thorn. I believe that the moment when Kairi calls out to Sora in KH1 just before Riku/Ansem is about to strike, is truly an epic moment. The battle was also just as epic. Just the sheer thought of Sora vs his childhood friend in a battle to the death was almost too much for me.
I just noticed that after Roxas throws Riku the Oblivion keyblade, the Kingdom Key appears in its place in his hand as a sort of placeholder second keyblade. I wonder why that wasn't in 358/2 Days?
Number 1 has to be Sora and Riku, back to back in Xemnas's etheral blades sphere, deflecting all of his shots. It was so epic I had to pause the game and take a 10 minute walk before finishing the fight lol

The 1000 Heartless battle is and will always be my favorite Kingdom Hearts moment. Especially since when I first got to it, I didn't notice the counter. When the battle ended I noticed it and was like "OH MY GOD I KILLED 1000 HEARTLESS!!".

I know i'm 3 months late with replying to your bullshit here. But do take note that this is about the most epic *moments.* As in; does not necessarily need to include gameplay as a factor (we can all admit that the 1000x heartless fight was easy af). Pay attention to the fact that he gave a cutscene (which does not involve gameplay whatsoever) 2nd place.
So looking beyond the gameplay factor. You can't deny that Sora wrecking 1k heartless in one go is pretty damn epic.

The scene leading into the 1000 heartless battle was epic too. Few better cutscenes that get you pumped just running into a thousand heartless all by yourself.

My top epic moment is the Showdown at Hollow Bastion cutscene right before the 1000 heartless. I mean, you just figured out the leader of organization, mickey runs off to catch him, dolan and goffy are off fighting as well, and you are on your own running at 1000 heartless of knights and surveillance things along with the best suspenseful music ever! ITS SO AWESOME!
what makes more epic the battle against roxas is the music from 358/2 days which reminds us of the moments roxas passed with Axel and xion

Damnnn I think I'm gonna set my ps2 up and play around with these. These games always gave me chills, and got me sooo damn engaged with the story. My heart was touched haha
One of my most epic moments (though it wasn't story related or anything) was in KH2, I was fighting Twilight Thorn, and it did the weird special QTE thing, and after I did it, when it's face hit the ground, it dies, stuck with only his face on the ground, it was badass.
The cutscene where Goofy and Donald rejoin Sora and he also reclaims the Keyblade off Riku is the most epic part imo.
For me it was the scar momment before the fight when the encounter plays, that momment was badass for a disney world.
You forgot the real #1: Fighting the newly formed Terranort with Lingering Will at the end of Terra's story. Also I feel it's necessary to mention Sephiroth's fights.
Seeing this takes me back, kingdom hearts 2 is the first kh I ever played. I was confused for years. Game series really made little sense to me until I also played 1 and chains of memories.

I love how all of these are from KH2, since that is my favorite KH game, and my first one also! yeah i really didn't understand the story since i hadn't played the first one, but i totally loved the game and i bought the 1st game just weeks after finishing KH2

This was an awesome list, but if I were to add on 2 more, it would be the Birth By Sleep, Final Mix secret ending. Seeing the 3 unknown Keyblade wielders battle it out with the unknown man that reminded me of Ansem with the awesome soundtrack and then Mickey showing up at the end, my heart was thumping.
Another moment would be the beginning if the final battle of Kingdom Hearts II. The way Sora cut through the buildings flying at him and how he leapt of top of them all Matrix style had me flipping out!!!! It was soooo epic!!!!!
The 1000 Heartless Battle was so good, it has such a Dynasty Warrior vibe to it where you have endless enemies that you can just mow down in increasing numbers, its just awesome.
Now I want a Dynasty Warrior KH game. Kinda like Hyrule Warriors only with KH characters.

5. Beating Ansem 2 ('Cause my brother would rage quit and I was only 11!)
4. Fighting Terrnort and Guardian with Aqua. (...I really love this battle.)
3. Fighting Ansem in 3D. (Maybe it's Destati, but it feels epic to me.)

You know the deep dive cutscene is also the last level and last battle in 358/2 days. I love the cutscene, yhe visuals in it are amazing. But I feel that actually getting to fight riku as the dual weilding roxas is soo much cooler.
Used to have an extra save file for the thousand heartless fight because it was a fun fight. ^^
Riku, trying to wake Sora up by going into his heart and confronting Armored Ventus Nightmare with an epic finish at the end.
In order. Tarzan world, kirchak/chamelion boss. Darkness riku in hollow bastion. Roxas/axel in twilight town. Battle of 1000 in hollow bastion. And lastly the final fight with xemnas in KH II throughout the whole thing with riku slicing the buildings in half, it just got me going for the 20 mins or so of the boss fight absolutely brilliant and enjoyable even dieing the first 15 times. I loved it
One of most epic moments for me was the final xeanort fight in kh2 specifically when he fired all those laser beams at you all at once and you have to button mash the ever living shit out your controller to not get hit. Just the still frame while sora and riku flipping over each other while still seeing the horde of lasers just did it for me. Gotta admit I mashed so hard my arms started to rising up without me doing it

The battle of 1000 heartless the magnet and fire spam was over 9000 there magnet, jump, fire rinse and repeat. I am surprised that you didn't put either of the opening cut-scenes/movies because for me the opening for kingdom hearts II will always stick in my mind.

that 1000 heartless battle was to epic. I had to go through the game twice to play through it again man. I really hope in kingdom hearts 3 you have to go against 3000 enemies 1000 heartless 1000 nobodies 1000 unverse. That will be a sweet battle

I can't decide between the 1,000 heartless battle and the part in the battle against Xemnas where you have to deflect the lasers. Regardless, Kh2 was full of epicness.
For me the most epic moment is when your fighting xemnas along side Riku and he starts shooting hundreds of lasers at you and your mashing the buttons deflecting them all. I felt so badass as a kid when that happened.
i noticed how roxas' oathkeeper's keychain is different from sora's. possibly because roxas' was formed from the thalassa shell xion left.
Two from Dream Drop Distance
1) Riku’s boss fight against Young Xehanort. Riku is going up against the toughest opponent ever seen in a Kingdom Hearts game, who was previously a bonus boss, and wins. Yes, it’s one of those tricky condition fights but for sheer scale, against someone who can overcome Stopza, it’s an awesome achievement.
2) The scene in with Riku in Sora’s Heart that manifests as the Destiny Islands. We see Roxas, Ventus and Xion as well as Ansem the Wise of all people. It shows that Roxas, Ventus and Xion still exist within Sora’s Heart as their own personalities, which is especially touching in Xion’s case. It’s a subdued scene but it’s awesome in that we see a new side to Ansem the Wise that reveals not only has Riku woken Sora from the nightmare he was trapped in (only Aqua’s armour remains unfought at this point) but they have access to the means to possibly restore those sheltering in Sora’s Heart. The icing on the cake is the callback to Kingdom Hearts 2, where Riku tells Ansem his name. After everything that’s happened to Sora there’s hope going forward.
The Ventus boss fight against Vanitas in Birth by Sleep is also epic, as Ventus is fighting inside his heart against the manifestation of his darkness. While it’s another technically tricky one it’s still impressive.
Number 1 for me is prob Ven vs Vanitas at the end of bbs when ven finally smacks him
I... Don't understand why he didn't include the final battle between Sora and Riku vs Xemnas. To me, that was definitely one of the most epic battles in Kingdom Hearts... I always love it when Sora fights solo or with one other person... It really lets his true power shine, because I feel like his comrades kind of bring him down some he/I depend on them too much. Makes the rewards that much sweeter.
That final scene where he took his own Keyblade and Riku's Keyblade and just wailed on Xemnas was amazing.... In fact, the whole last part of that battle was amazing, where they were surrounded by a dome of lasers and you had to mash the buttons like crazy in order to defend yourself... Longest. Thirty. Seconds. Ever.
If you watch the boundary break for kingdom hearts 2. It shows the 1000 heartless fights and the ones further from you are just sprites but as they get closed they kind of zip to sora

I agree with this list except for the twilight thorn. I believe that the moment when Kairi calls out to Sora in KH1 just before Riku/Ansem is about to strike, is truly an epic moment. The battle was also just as epic. Just the sheer thought of Sora vs his childhood friend in a battle to the death was almost too much for me.
I just noticed that after Roxas throws Riku the Oblivion keyblade, the Kingdom Key appears in its place in his hand as a sort of placeholder second keyblade. I wonder why that wasn't in 358/2 Days?
Can't wait to play Sora vs Roxas when 2.5HD comes out, remember when I first played through KH2 that I felt kind of robbed that it was just a cutscene
