If your drive is at zero than go to the underworld Colosseum select the Cerberus cup go in then immediately leave. Your drive will go back to full and you will be able to continue grinding

I'm a first time KH2 player aswell. This has got to be my favorite one in the series because I played 3 before played1&2.

Just some quick tips.
1.) Make sure you activate your Drive form before your actual fight begins. You won't get Anti Form if you activate you form while outside combat.
2.) When leveling up Master form with the gamblers, if you fail one of their mini games, it'll reset your Drive gauge when you return to normal.
this right here, you could probably get max lvl on master in 1 run

For easy refill of drive, go to underworld and start the Cerberus Cup then quit the match.
actually, does jackpot affect the gamblers? if so, having both the jackpot and drive converter keyblades should do wonders. besides, 1 draw is enough for that room if you do feel like you need it...
Fun Fact: you wont lose your form while riding the skateboard. good way to save your ass in timeless river if your bar is critically low.

With Limit Form for anyone who is having trouble with the Action Command (Triangle) after activating the shortcut (L1+O) make sure you let go of L1 before the Action Command comes up. Otherwise it will remain greyed out and you'll probably think something is wrong.
So remember! After the shortcut command (L1+O) let go of L1 to do the said Action Command (Rave/Finish). Hope this helps!

I was able to figure it out as a youth. It's explained in-game in the menus. If you don't bother to read those then Rpgs are gonna give you trouble.

Just go down the storyline, it's at hollow bastion, once your far enough in the game, go to the bailey, go down to the destroyed area, kill demyx if you haven't, keep down the path, and eventually you'll get there but it's a 1-time thing

if you have no drive guage filled out, i went to the goddess and fate cup in the Olympics Coliseum, and left right away and it fully restored my drive guage

Just touching a save point also fills the Drive Gauge(from my experience anyways)
@IAmBurnie that’s weird because i’m playing on xbox and the world map trick works for me. I maxed out my valor going to the chasm challenges save point in agrabah and fighting the mushroom thing in the treasure room.

12:05 IMPORTANT: For Final Form He doesnt mention that those easy nobodies ONLY show up after defeating the room shown in the timestamp I provided.
You can clearly see this is the case as the door in this video is opened and not "magically locked" when prompted to press triangle which means those enemies will show up after clearing bosses in that room.
If you're doing a lvl 1 run or find any enemies hard in this area then you can go back to 4 places to lvl up final form if you want to immediately WITHOUT fighting Luxor(boss):
1. Of course on Twilight Town in the:
Underground Concourse which have Dusks and Gamblers.
Mansion Foyer has Dusks and Gamblers.
Mansion Dining Room has Gamblers.
Mansion Library has Dusks and Dragoons.
Mansion Basement Hall has Samurai.
Mansion Corridor has Dusks and Dancers. (Only place to farm Dancers before the final area of the game I think)
Or these areas any wiki doesnt tell you:
2. Port Royal in the Isla de Muerta Powder Store or Treasure Heap if you move maps a few times(3/5) to spawn nobodies: Dusks and Gamblers.
3. The Land of Dragons in the Ridge or Summit if you move maps a few times(3/5) to spawn nobodies: Dusks and Snipers.
4. Beast's Castle in the Entrance Hall or Ballroom if you move maps a few times(3/5) to spawn nobodies: Dusks and Dragoons.
I'm actually just at this point in the game right before Xemnas and the nobodies are still not showing up, like literally in the room before him. So guessing the actual trigger to change the spawns is defeating final boss.
This is months late but I’ll just reply anyways, you just have to defeat Xemnas that first time, not the final boss. Once you come back after beating him the first time they’ll start spawning
The 1,000 Heartless battle is also extremely helpful to level up Limit. Equip Vicinity Break, Drive Boost, and Damage Drive for maximum drive replenishment. NEVER USE REACTIONS TO KILL ANY ENEMY. The more enemies you kill using Limit Form, the more you will level up the form. Revert after your MP is exhausted to quickly get it right back and then use Sonic Rave repeatedly to avoid being interrupted.

You have to activate drive, and make sure you leave the world before it runs out. When you return, you should be at max. I did it today and leveled Valor and Wisdom
Make sure you're in a drive form. That would do it. If your gauge is too low to change, go to the Underworld and start a cup where you can use your drive gauge, such as Cerberus, and then leave and you'll be good
People should also take note that if you waited to level up wisdom until you reach the final world and/or may only have like 2 levels let to go at late stages of the game, The World That Never Was is also a great place for wisdom level ups. The long, winding road that leads to Memory Skyscraper is full of weak shadow heartless that are easy to kill with fire and thunder spamming while in Wisdom. NOTE: this must be done before you enter the castle itself. If you've already made it to the castle, the shadows will be replaced with Dancer, Samurai, and Sniper Nobodies.
Note this must be done before encountering the cloaked figure(depending on if it's Final mix or not you must fight the figure)

Speaking of, memory skyscraper can be used for getting Final Form with the keyblade from the cloaked figure as long as you have not entered the castle.

For the people that had there drive gauge go all the way down before getting to a save point, I found a way to get it back quickly instead of fighting for orbs. Go to the coliseum and enter a tournament. Once you get in, exit out, and your drive gauge will be full.

A way better place for final form is the mansion basement, spamming firaga. Its way more efficient.
I checked this out and wow you were right. It’a such a good method I not only leveled up all the way to 7 for final form, I also leveled up 11 levels from 49 to 60 with Sora in the same amount of time. Thanks!

FOR LIMIT FORM: I don't think he mentioned it in the video, but the L1+Circle WILL NOT work if you've customized shortcut commands. For instance, I already had my Circle button customized as a Potion. So when I activated the Limit Form and tried this, I just kept giving myself potions and couldn't figure out why this seemed to be working out for everyone else lol. THE FIX: Go to "Menu" > "Customize" and change the Circle command to a spell such as Firaga or whatever. Then try his level up method. In Limit Form, the Firaga option (Circle) will change to Sonic Rave instead. Lol I was basically kicking myself once I figured out why it wasn't working. Hopefully this will help someone else who has the same problem I did! (:

I am late to the party but I have to express my appreciation to the work that was put into this. With all of the little menus and great information you really do deserve the upvotes.
I know I'm a bit late but here is how I leveled Limit Form easy and within the story: the battle against the 1000 Heartless. It is by far the easiest way even easier than the Agrabah method. And since you have to do it anyway why not level it on the way. I got from Level 1 to 6 (which I think is the max by that time you can obtain). Since there are so many enemies just attack normally till you get the Drive Gauge to 4. Activate Limit Form and use Sonic Rave (L1 + Circle) two times. After that revert to normal. Rinse and repeat.
Also thanks for the great Guide. It's just a way to level it up easier
the 1000 heartless battle is a one time fight, you cant go back and replay it so its not really a method.

basically once you reach the point of no return(the door to kingdom heart) the creepers will spawn

A good way to level up Limit Form: > As the video said, go to the Mushroom in the Treasure Room, activate it, but head to the start of the room, stop when the name room name displays itself - Then use Sonic Rave / Sonic Blade repeatedly. If you have Ethers to spare, use 'em to keep on using Sonic Rave over and over.
An alternative way to level up Final Form is to go to Yen Sid's Tower and beat up all the Nobodies you see, and if you don't have enough drive, replenish with the Gambler's Minigame.

I did this until the final level or two and then did as the video said. The time crunch for his method makes it too annoying until you're at least level five. But it's definitely the best for the last level or two.

The creepers aren't appearing, just nearby Samurais and Dancers. I know there were a lot of creepers in the original version though

iLLBiLLsRoastBeats actually the creepers will start spawning after you have past all the cutscenes at altar of naught. You have to go there to initiate the final cutscene before the end game fight. Creepers will start spawning at naughts skyway now
they appear after riku joins the party

There's a better way to level up wisdom form. However, once you get close to the top of the organization's castle it won't work (I forget at what point exactly). Basically, before you get too high in the organization's castle, sh*t loads of shadow heartless spawn that are easy to kill in the first few areas of the world that never was, and they just keep on coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming... you get the idea. It takes like 3 trips to level it up to max. But after you get too high in the organization's castle, they're replaced by some nobodies, which sucks.

Entity1037 It's right outside of Alley to Between, called Fragment Crossing, in KHII:FM, they're eventually replaced with Nobodies (not sure when), but before that it's non-stop shadow heartless, and you automatically revert and have a full Drive Gauge when you walk into Alley to Between when in a Drive Form. This area was great for leveling Valor and Wisdom forms.

I have to say, I love that you have links in your video to give it an interactive element to it so instead of searching for the drives we want to level, we can pick them from the video and pick where we are in the game so we can get the best out of it.
I don't know what different with my game but for leveling the final form I don't encounter the nobody pattern which appears to you. When I visit this room I only come across 2 sets of dancers etc but not these small thingies.
You need to have killed all bosses up to Xemnas 1 in order for the set of nobodies to change.

I came up with a method for Wisdom in mickeys house there’s a load of heartless kill them all quick step to the door rince and repeat you can do this as soon as you unlock the “Monochrome” world (sorry been a long time since played) it works i shouldn’t GUARANTEE because I don’t know which enemies spawn near the end game in mickeys house.
