Handy tutorial as I’ve gone back to Polyplex after looking in to Triaz by Wave Alchemy and I thought to myself it’s pretty similar to this

Interesting. I'm just discovering Polyplex in my Komplete bundle, after doing an extensive review of drum machines like Playbeat, XO, Atlas, DrumComputer, BreakTweaker and a dozen more. Triaz was on my list but Waves wouldn't provide a demo version and it was a little too expensive for my investigation. Did you buy Triaz?

I don't know why this got 5 vote downs. Best Polyplex tut I've seen in a sea of crap. Good job!

How the hell do you get VST's in Logic X, i've got really tired of it not allowing me to place in third party VSTS into it.

Is there a way to convert them at all, sounds a bit of a push really but hoping it exists like lets just say a fairly old thing now like Massive can i convert the VST file in to a AU version?

I really love polyplex but the cpu usage is just too damn high!!

      so true..so true.
i have only 8 gbs of premium ram. so i cant afford to use cpu consumers. or fucking crazy external effects. shit like Lush, fab filters, and Satin. rape my computer
gotta stick with efficiency. Kick, sylenth, and valhalla. fuck even waves compressors not that bad on your consumption

i find most of the native instruments stuff eats CPU....as i don't play live it's not too much of an issue....mostly!

Krydda have you seen the option to change the sample rate on the instrument? where it shows you how much cpu is being used, you can click there and drop it as necessary...a good idea is to drop the samplerate whilst tweaking your sounds and then crank it up again when you bounce to audio

TheFujac Thanks man! Didn't know such thing exists.

soooo bounce the drums to an audio file and then your cpu usage will go down. ya welcome fam

This is up there with breaktweaker for unusably high CPU usage for what it does. Good video but this product isn't going to appeal to most folks

Nice sound but it literally takes my computer 1-3 minutes to load the damn thing. Need to upgrade to SSDs I guess.
