    When you consider how old PolyPlex is, and yet the randomization and settings are the standard for most new drum machines. Maybe it was ahead of it's time!

    Polyplex has been surprisingly awesome. Came in Komplete and as a Battery enthusiast, I have to say it's really fun and refreshing to use if your usual methods aren't working

    Your voice makes my speakers vibrate as if they were broken .. o.O It reminds me of school (20 years ago) when the teacher rolled in a big ol' TV and a VCR and turned it up to the max.

    i absolutely love polyplex and it's my go to instrument when i need a percussion sound but am not sure what sound i want....however, it's impossible to use as it's been used above in a busy project as it sucks up any remaining CPU in an instant

    i wish the 4 main-bars under PITCH> START> PAN (not-so-much) and VOLUME> were automatable. always enjoy this thing
    and learning how to use it. usually i just need one or two sounds out of it....it can get PRETTY VIBEY!!!

    Polyplex is fun and easy to use along with several other synthesizers in reaktor. But, reaktor as a whole has been quite complex and difficult for me to customize and use what with all of the vast number of plug-ins you have to choose from or connect to get sound. I haven't been able to use reaktor to its full potential for a while now. Or, maybe I'm just a "dumass".😋

    Vom Prinzip ist es wie ein erweitertes Drumlab, klingt gut :-)

    Poliplex's volume resets when I press play in my DAW. Seems to be a new bug. Super frustrating, as I no longer can use this instrument.

    that randomize dice who always make a 3 is tickling my OCD

    it's a great instrument and like you said, quick way to get some randomization, would be great if the sounds / samples were updated or we could change the samples ourselves. can we get a tutrorial on that?

    What is that piano roll/midi editor/DAW thing you're using?

    • @DaiPai1777
      @DaiPai1777 6 років тому

      pretty sure its Cubase! it's a DAW, he just has the piano roll full screened to the program for the purpose of the video

    Too bad Reaktor is a CPU hog. Otherwise the sounds are great.

    • @Alectrizo
      @Alectrizo 6 років тому

      Totally. I had to build my cpu up pretty big to handle multiple instances of it without freezing channels.

    • @zak8953
      @zak8953 6 років тому +3

      It's a CPU hog because you can go "inside" the plugin and program it on the fly (not "program" as in knob twiddling, but literal programming). You give up efficiency for flexibility.

    Narrator sounds dangerously close to that smooth talking Dan Worrall.

    Polyplex will not play midi for me in Ableton Lite. I get Polyplex audio from playing the computer keyboard, but it doesn't respond to the midi clip. Other Reaktor ensembles do. What is going on? Please help me, someone!

      In Reaktor you can route anything to a MIDI controller, or even OSC. Hell, you can build a devicie specific controller yourself and make as many knobs as you want!

    Lack of a step sequencer is pathetic, should ideally be in one app, instead of switching to the piano/drum editor of the DAW. Luckily, few drum VST's are being released with built in step sequencers.

    • @fts4life
      @fts4life 4 роки тому +1

      You can pretty easily wire up the Polyplex ensemble to a sequencer ensemble in Reaktor and then save that as new ensemble, there are even a few sequencers in the user library designed specifically to be used with Polyplex.

    And now, let's go random, may be we gonna get some good techno... Since techno tools are tought for kids, techno sucks. Cause to effect ? Fine producers know and can control what they do. And it takes more than 5 minutes generally.
