The Color Poportunity socks were so much fun! Thanks again-looking forward to working on these!
Whatever you do it’s always marvellous
Du bist schon ein Künstler 😂❤
I kind of want to do these with sock scraps. I think that would be WILD 🎉
Those are cute. Would work well for knee socks, too. The shaping on the back of the calf would disappear into the stripes.
We are lucky with your brain 😊❤
I like this modular construction method. It probably makes it easier to mend the socks as they get worn. I'm thinking it wouldn't be too difficult to reknit parts of the sole as needed.
Very interesting socks. I wonder why you didn’t do garter stitches on the bottom and stockinette on the top. Garter is more durable and would make good sock sole.
Schoppel Zauberball ist so cool cause you can not see in which moment the next colour started. A Fragmentation sock or colourblock sock needs looking nice with this pattern.
Are all these hanks and balls of wool specifically, hardwearing sock wool? 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The hand dyed yarn is soft superwash merino, but it has nylon blended with it to help make it stronger for socks. The self-striping Zauberball yarn from Schoppel Wolle contains 25% nylon which is very durable for socks too.
@StephenWest Thank you for your swift reply.

isn't this a repeat video? what happened with the 1st upload?
I was wondering the same thing when I got the notification about this video. It looks like the same one I watched a few days ago.
The first video had the start from an other project (Aurora Cabin Triangle). So this video start in the right moment with the sock.
@michaelgoldschmidt5221 Thank you
Love these, but not a huge fan of garter in the round - that's a lot of purling on fingering weight yarn.
These are actually knit flat and joined at the edges.
@ nice. Joined with live stitches, or is it sewn after? (or picked up)
@@cobaltaqua glad you took the time away from being a ɥɔʇıq to instead be ǝןqɐɹǝɟɟnsuı. Can't imagine what it's like to be around you irl.
