I bought this to make a CNC Plasma Cutter machine with. In setting up this unit, I found this is a fun little machine to do small projects with the family. I will have to make my Plasma CNC machine be easily converted back to a laser engraver for all the benefits of this machine.

Hi, I just got one of these and was having trouble making it work, so I came across your video. Does this laser engraver have any indicator when it is powered on? like LED light or anything.
Yes. The laser head has a light and you can hear the cooling fan running when the unit is on.
@@scantronsgarage I found out that the emergency stop button was pushed down and turned to lock, so I had to unlock it. After that it worked.
Ahh Yes! it does that. I had that bit of confusion as well.
How has the laser engraver been doing? still working good? I'm looking at something like this for logos on wood
Yep still works. The wife is after me for it so she can use it for the same. Overall, Im happy with it. I may just buy her own. I converted this one to cut metal : )
Does this vevor 20W have cross hairs for alignment and do you still like this laser , thanks
No it does not have cross hairs but it does have a center red led that shows you where it will engrave. Yes I still like it. I converted this machine to cut metal.
Can it print a QR code on a piece of soft metal the size of a business card?
I have not tried metal yet but I believe so. Sounds like a great idea
