I like that the entire band gets in on the singing and Rivers take a backseat a lot of the time and shares the spotlight
saw them in concert last year!! best concert ive been to fr
Can we go back to 94 now? One of the best years of my life. 😒
this is a breathtakingly perfect live performance. So much practice went into this. Perfect version of the the album version
Man..i watched this live..late night in my room as a 17 year old in 1994 ....throw back moment!

i stayed up one New Year's Eve to see Weezer perform 'Africa' by TOTO
impressive
Wow. It's hard to find a band that sounds just as good live. Another great one is perfect circle on Leno. Damn I miss the 90s......
I was 18 when this came out. I just went into the Army. That summer I was at a swim park with some friends and this song was playing. Everyone was stopped in their tracks just bobbing their heads to this song.
love his hair in this
he cut it off about a month later then grew it back briefly in 2000. Looked cool on him then!
Same
He looks like Velma
@@recordcollector0665 bruhh 😭😭
This is still Rivers "one leg is longer than the other" Cuomo.
bobcollum __ not anymore. He got that surgery
@@rawjaw1881 no he means That this was before Rivers had the surgery
@@recordcollector0665 bro I know
@@recordcollector0665 Which led to one of the greatest albums of all time afterwards
One of the best bands to see live!!
Blue album, one of the soundtracks album growing up.
The nostalgic rush never misses every time i put on the album.
Still one of the best 90's rock bands.
The gear, sound, etc sounded so much better back then. I hate how the modern gear/sound is for most 90s bands that are still around playing their songs.
I love how messy this playing, the vocals, everything is, it suits the song so well
I think it's all the digital processing that goes into making tracks sound tight and clean nowadays. I do appreciate the tone they've got here, real dirty and gritty sounding almost like classic rock or southern rock.
Caught a Weezer show last year and they still sounded fucking massive.

I remember watching this live. Well, when it originally aired on Conan. I knew I would still be listening to them in 2021, if the world hadn’t ended by then.
Not many understand how good this band really is. SUPER talented bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved the 90's! Great bands like Weezer with fantastic musicians ... Rivers can shred also (look up Avant Garde) but plays exactly what's needed for Weezer songs.
Velma from Scooby Doo? Anyone?
“If he was a chick I’d date him”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This came out when I was around 30, and thinking Rock n’ Roll needed an overall.
Between Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, and these guys, they set the tone for that much needed tune up that was that mid-90’s revival of sorts.
Just this guy’s opinion, that’s all....
Ric Ocasek, stellar job...RIP.
Completely agree.
thanks for this man LOL I was looking for this for so long...
I love this song
Weezer has such an underrated LOUD guitar tone…love it
their debut album was met with critical acclaim / it appears on Rolling Rtone's Top 100 Debut Albums of All Time / 4 million in sales ... hardly underrated "tones"
