- Have you ever used a shaky head? Today I'll discuss how I rig a shaky head, the combos I fish it on, how it compares to other popular finesse techniques, and lastly we'll discuss how to fish it. The shaky head is a lot more versatile than a lot of people think. Different jig heads, plastics, and ways of using the rig can make all the difference. Thanks for watching feeshin friends!
COMMENT BELOW and let me know if you've had success with a shaky head!

My tackle warehouse shopping cart gets bigger every time I watch one of your videos
Haha I feel that man. I could spend 500+ so easily
SOS, Shiny Object Syndrome.
GAS = gear acquisition syndrome
Same for me!!!
🙄
“The more you shake and work it the less likely you will get a bite.”
Have you been talking to my wife 😂
Bahahah...I'm not going anywhere near that 🤣🤣🤣👊
It’s fun to learn fishing techniques. I have fished my whole life, but have learned more in this past year than the rest of my years together. And Debo, you have been part of this learning curve. Bought shaky heads last year and can’t wait to use them more. I might try the ManBearPig in Tramp Stamp on them this season. Or a Buffalo Wild Wing.
Awesome man! I agree, learning and trying new stuff is half the fun. I'm glad my vids have helped man. Yes, I bet the MBP would be awesome on one. Save the wings for me 🤣
I actually searched for Buffalo Wild Wing at Tackle Warehouse lol Never know these days js
Great info. I haven’t used the shaky head enough, but I am now armed with the know-how to give it a better shot. Thanx as always.
You're welcome man, hope it helps out!
I'm a beginner and I really enjoy watching your videos. You can tell fishing is something that you truly love to do and gets me excited to keep learning. Thanks for the great videos!
I do love to fish. I'm glad you enjoy my content man. Good luck this year 👊
every time the temp. gets any where near forty i can't help to think spring is just around the corner
I know..only a couple months away 😭🤣
Great info man. I tell ya I love to toss the old shake'em heads around. Great breakdown man.
Thanks brotha man! You can teach me some of that deep ledge shankin!
I fish the shaky head when I need something finesse and it’s maybe I’m somewhere new. You can power fish it but then you can slow it down. I really like the zoom finesse work it’s just a straight worm 5in.
Yessir! Power fish it like a jig or really slow it down too!
Debo,
I could go the whole season and only throw a shaky head with different trailers. I am confident no matter where I am and what the conditions I would still catch fish. Not because I am that good but because the bait is so versatile as you pointed out. The different shapes of the heads, the different weights and you can use almost every type and style of plastic on the market. As a result all of these combinations make up unique rigs that have different characteristics. I have tiny trout sized heads up to the standard 1/16, 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8 oz heads. I do not go any larger I love finesse fishing. 3,4 and 5 inch Senko’s were my standards for quite some time. Reaction Innovations Smallie Beaver and the standard version have been primary trailers when I am slow dragging the bottom. I have recently fell in love with Z-Man products both of the TRD’s have produced some quality fish. The Big TRD in PB&J has caught my largest fish and I mean multiple large fish.
You're 100% correct! It's a rig that can do a a lot of different things. Grass, wood, rock...it's not often that a lure can do all of that and not get hung up all of the time!
Did you fish the pb&j on a shakyhead or did you use the zman shrooms ned rig hooks for it?
Man what a vid. I just realized that I don’t use the shakey head enough. Great presentation sir. Very good info.
Thanks man! Yeah, seems to get overshadowed by the new rigs sometimes!
I like using a craw type bait on a shakey head
Yessir! Craw, beaver, worm, all sorts of stuff you can throw on!
That was helpful, I’m stuck on the pegged Texas rig worm definitely will try the shake thanks for the great content man
Nothing wrong with that. The weighted texas rig is probably my most confident rig!
I absolutely hate the ones that doesn't have a guide in the screw. I'd expect 6th sense to have it, But they don't.
Yeah, they are a tad easier. But some screw is better than no screw.
@@DEBOSFishing That's what she said............😳
Lol so true, my worst nightmare is trying to rig zman baits on them which is near impossible on any screw type.
Thanks so much awesome video needed help just picked up some shaky heads for tougher days this spring
They are great for tough days! Thanks for watching 👊
Another great video! Justed searched for videos yesterday on shaky heads and just saw yours. Keep it up!
Awesome, good timing I guess! Hope it helps out man!
Ive been using the 1/16oz. Owners with the dry creek tubes makes them weedless and they come over chunk rock way easier caught two 4s during Christmas 🎣
Ohhh nice! The tubes are a forgotten lure it seems!
Well guess who made a few additions to his spring shopping tackle warehouse wishlist after this haha
Hahaha sorry, didn't mean to hit ya in the wallet 🤣 What are you picking up?
This video reminds me I still use the reel you gave me for finesse fishing.
Hahah nice man! Thanks for sticking with my channel this whole time!
Try Baby Brush Hogs rigged on a swivel head shaky head or football swing jig. They come 5/16th and 3/16th sizes. Tungsten does make a difference if you want to pay the price. I don’t shake them, I cast them out and hop them a few times and then swim them along and let them fall about every two feet. The tungsten clicks on rocks just like male crayfish do attracting females during their spawning season. I never found that shaking them worked better than just ticking them slowly thru the rocks. Small glass worm rattles added to the plastic will make a ticking or clicking sound too if you chose to use worms. The idea of a shaky head is to mimic this trait of crayfish. Often studying the prey’s habits is better than studying the predator’s habits. If you find a high concentration of spawning crayfish, you likely will find Bass eating their bellies full. There is another secret to know about crayfish; they shed their exoskeletons after spawning; bass and many other fish never pass up a soft shell crayfish. That is why light brown, creamy white and orange lures catch bass. Bone colored crankbaits just don’t mimic shad they also look like soft shell crayfish. Trout anglers catch more trout if they match the hatch and so will bass anglers.
Yes, the baby brush hog is money! I do the hop method too. I go through different retrieves to find what they want. Here's to us finding some biggins in 2020!
Gotta bit of study to share with you Debo. Strike King has a Super finesse worm that's made by ZMan. Of course it's ElaZtech material. And I didn't get much chance to see how it performs in the right conditions. What I did notice is there's a slight issue to deal with if you use a 1/4oz jighead with it for Shakeyhead applications. When casting these worms on 1/4oz or bigger they are going to stretch out & that will shorten your cast a great deal. When you use 3/16, it's a better weight and doesn't stretch out as bad. I have some VMC Rugby jigs coming in the mail Monday & they are all 1/16oz. These are a new one for me. They are not to be confused with the VMC swimming Rugby jigs. They are different and made to be fished like a shakeyhead. Definitely a good Finesse jig by all means. I've been looking for a EWG jighead that comes in a 1.0 or 2.0 size so I can Ned Rig with it. So far I'm using a Slider Spider jighead but it tends to have a more laid down look & it glides more than hops. Sometimes that presentation is perfect but I'm still on a quest for a good jighead with more of a mushroom head. Just thought I'd share that with you. And Discount Tackle.com is selling their Chatterbaits at almost 50% off. I have 3 of the Original models for $3.99 a piece coming Monday also. I saw where they have the Jack Hammer for$12.99 but I don't need that model. I get 3 original models for what it costs for just one of those 😲 so I had to get those. Just thought I'd share that bit of knowledge with you. With all the new tackle out, maybe it it's time for a video with covering the new stuff. Have a good weekend and I will be watching for your new video . Later my friend.
Nice grabs on some deals! I need to check out that website!
@@DEBOSFishing the prices are great but the stock is not as big as the Discount Tackle Warehouse. The Chatterbait deals are sweet. I got my arsenal back up to parr. Now I'm waiting on the first full moon in March to happen & set these fish into a feeding frenzy
@@DEBOSFishing I also found the Ned Rig hooks I was looking for. They are made by Lifted Jigs. They are all 1/0 size & alot of the sizes are being released on February 8th. They are $5.99 for 3 so I'm still looking to see what might be out there may be a lesser priced set up. But I did find em. The VMC RUGBY JIGS are too big to use for Ned Rig but they are great for Shakeyhead applications. The eye is recessed into the football shaped head so it does save the knot from being frayed. Still got to check the line for knicks and brushes that will infact cause you to break off. I enjoy watching the videos on painting crankbaits. Good stuff
Excellent instructional video Debo! Thank you! Btw, it snowed all day here! 🤨
Great video, good topic. Thanks
Thank you, Jerry!👊
Don’t use shakey heads much any more.. I use the Nekko rig now.. Have you tried it? I almost never get snagged on nekko even in rip rap .. great video
I have and you nailed it on the head. ONE BIG situation I use it...more to come next year with that!🤫
“When Gander mountain went out the first time”
Isn’t that crazy? Going under again!
I went to the store in LaCrosse, WI and they had pretty much stripped the store to the bones. I went in to try and use my good Sam membership to get my favorite knife sharpened, and they told me they don’t do that anymore. Pfft. What a joke.
Damn, that stinks man. I enjoyed going there, sucks they are closing down ☹
Stone Cold Steve Autism they didn’t have anything at the store I went to. Just some displays with clearance garbage. I couldn’t believe it.
XD "Spring just around the corner, hopefully....." Same!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah...couple months out 😭🤣
Great video Debo! I don't throw the shaky head as a lot of the ponds I fish have a lot of gunk on the bottom. I will put up with it when the bite gets tough. Like you, the Zoom finesse and Grandebass Airtails are my fav but I like the suggestion of trying the swimbait or beaver. The tip on not imparting too much action is spot on! We need to find a way to get your subs over 100k!
I'm glad the tips helped man. I've truly had days bouncing it with no bites...switched to just dragging it over rocks and it was game on! I'll get to 100K someday...hopefully 🤣👊
Great advice seems like forever sense u made a video but enjoyed your tips an Techniques.
Yeah, unfortunately it has only been one a week. Everyday life stuff puts a cramp on stuff sometimes. I appreciate you sticking with my channel 👊
Texas rig on plastic craws works well for me at my local lake. I'm gonna take your advice on your string choice.
plastic chuckers unite! lol.. I caught a couple bass yesterday, spotted bay bass though, lol..
Hahah soft plastics are great! Nice! They are a ton of fun to catch!
@@DEBOSFishing spotties fight way harder than largemouth.. they just don't get as big..
The airtail wiggler has become my go to. Another trick is with the straight shank ball heads rig the worm with a little “bow” in it and it’ll spiral on the fall. Works good sometimes around docks.
Yessir, the Wiggler is money! Nice, throwing a little bend in it!
On your friend, the drop shot, sub the ds weight for a couple crimp on split shot. If they snag, they just pull off (credit to Alex Realistic fishing for that one).
I've heard of that! I need to give that a try. He's always keeping it realistic!
DEBO'S Fishing i use that set up for panfish with gulp minnows and for trout with corn and have had a lot of luck. Just tried it today for the first time for bass with no luck but it was 33 degrees so, there’s that.
Great video Debo. I can't believe that I helped make this video. Great stuff. We went fishing last night and (since the wacky rig is my confidence bait) the wacky rig produced 2 fish. One 2lber and one new PB. We figured 6lbs (to lazy to use the scale). One more bite on the wacky. And a bite on the Berkley Pitboss. Wacky was a Bass Pro Shops Tournament series 4 & 1/2" Wacky Stik-o-worm in Junebug. Berkley Pitboss was a black and blue. New to the Shakey head. Never caught anything on it. Hoping that I can. Should have tried the TRD Crawz Ned rig last night. Awesome stuff!!!
Thanks for watching man. Versatile rig and you can try a number of different plastics! Good luck this year!
I have been fishing freshwater for only a year now (weekend’s only) but I have notice that the shaky head works really well for me early in the morning, these will help me out a lot for 2020, thank you Debo, great video also
You're welcome man! They are great when the sun comes up and they move to cover as well. Docks, shade, trees!
Hey debo have you tried 6th Sense line of soft plastics? I had an order come in recently and I'm excited for spring. Please review the ned fry (4.6) clout (5.4) and shaky worm (6.3) i think each has its own best presentation. But what's best for one isn't exactly best for another. Hope to see a video reviewing these.
I got the ned fry. They seem like solid lures. I haven't got to actually get it in the water to test though.
What is your alls top 3 soft plastics mine are a Zoom Trick worm, A Missile Baits D Bomb, and a Gene Larew Biffle Bug!
Dang...that's a tough decision! I'd have to think on it!
Hey Debo do you use and braid backing on your baitcaster? New to that style reel. Thanks in advance from New York.
I usually just put on a cheap mono!
I admit I don't use a shaky head enough. Now I'm thinking why haven't I? Very good information. New sub!
Yeah man, they are versatile and they get bit! Thanks for watching and subbing!
Would love a video of you using live target baits. Just to see if they're worth the money.
I've got a few. Some are good and some are not my favorite.
Want to get better at shakes head. Definitely will try out some of these techniques. Funny how you mention the rugby head. Have been using it as a weedless ewg Ned rig hook. I’ll have to try a worm.
Heck yeah, give it a go! Thanks for watching 👊
Very helpful thankyou!
You're welcome 👊👊👊
Hey Debo lovely video really enjoyed it thanks for your advice and guidance keep up the good video's 👍👊
You're welcome and thanks for watching 👊
DEBO. great video. I fish the shaky head a little bit, but I've never caught anything yet. I get the feeling I'm working it too much or too fast. Since I'm new to the rig, I never know which style of shakey head hooks to buy, so I greatly appreciate the coverage on the various head and hook options. Explained it very well!
Awesome! I'm happy to hear that this could help! It's great to lightly pop it on the bottom like a jig, drag it, or just toss it at high percentage targets!
Great advise, I believe most people over work shaky heads, ned rigs, and drop shots. Many fish in my area won't hit a moving piece of plastic, but suck it off the bottom after movement stops. Hits on the fall only seem to come from the most aggressive fish.
Yeah, I still have a tendency to overwork them. Frustration and impatience seem to make me shake the rod like a can of paint 🤣
I scored some of those pocket rocket and air tail wigglers brand new for a bucks a piece at a garage sale so I’m pretty stoked to toss em once springs here... which is very near here in Texas 😅
They are awesome! I can't wait to see spring!
Good video. I'm a big fan of the owner shakey heads paired with a Yum Genie worm. The tail is buoyant so it stands straight up
I have not tried those worms before. I'll have to check some out!
Awesome video bubba I love the shaky head I have caught some nice ones one it tight lines
Thanks for watching my man! Hope you have been well!
I'm a fan of the Owner shakey heads and the Airtail Rattler is awesome. I dip the tail in some garlic Chartreuse dye... Killer setup.
Heck yeah, great combo. Yep, that chartreuse dye is money!
Hey Brian! Bought some Spike it Chartreuse garlic flavor. Just started last night to dye some baits. Tried them today! Trailer on my spinner baits with paddle tails. Just killed them! The garlic smell last and lasts too. Been looking for someone else that was using the dye. Thanks, for your in sight. Text more I think you could have a youtube channel too. Shawn
@@shawnbeck2303 thanks for the vote of confidence but i don't think I have the presence or the skills to do UA-cam. I wouldn't mind however fishing with some youtubers and learn from people who have decades more experience than i do but ive only been actively fishing for a couple years so yeah
I just do a lot of research before jumping into things
We out here! Been waiting for this one Debo!
Hahah thanks, Kendall! Hope it helps you out 👊
Loved the vedio no NEVER used the shacking head not used to fishing it would love to learn more how to fish it
Give it a try! They are a great versatile lure!
Awesome video an great tips going try the shaky head more. Keep them
Coming. Tight lines my friend
Heck yeah, give it a go! Thanks for watching 👊
Thanks for the vid Debo! Keep them coming!!👍
The thanks goes to you for watching and supporting 👊👊👊
If your not using a Yamamoto kut tail worm, your doing it wrong. Jk. It's my favorite tho.
Hahah yeah, they are good no doubt! Cut tail worms in general don't get talked about enough!
Great video! Thank you.
2 days until opener. Might as well be 2 years! And what's with tackle warehouse taking so long to ship! Aaaaaaaaaaaasaahhhh!!!!
Good info Debo thanks! You keep condensing my learning curve on this feeshin' thing!
Thanks man! I'm happy to share what I know. Hope it helps you!
i have been trying red and chartreuse on ned rigs makes a bit of a difference.... when the bait is off the bottom. (on the fall, hopping it over something, or just reeling it in). it might make a difference on a shakey head havent tried it yet. I believe it gives them something a little extra to key in on.
Yeah, I go back and forth on both. Especially now with the EWG ned heads...they are pretty dang versatile!
Love a shaky head. Got me a lot of bites when I was a struggling beginner. I prefer a smaller finesse/trick worm or a good old stick bait. I've also had good luck with "cut tail" worms like the Buddha Baits Swagger Worm.
Yessir! Great for beginners because they are weedless and can go in aot of different places. Yes, those cut tail worms are great!
Perfect! I dont do this technique at all!!! #DEBO #feeshingfriends #certified
You sir are definitely a #certifiedfeeshinfriend 👊 Put some time in with it, you'll catch some!
Great vid! Gave me some ideas for different heads to try. Had the best shakey head luck so far with yum dingers and worn out trick worms. Peace bro👍
Yeah, both do great! I've liked testing new heads to find the things that work better in specific situations. Thanks for watching 👊
Great video as always man! As far as the shakey head goes. I played around with them a little in the fall, but I plan on working with them alot more in 2020.
Thanks man! Toss them, you'll definitely get some bites! Good luck 👊
1700 dropshot weights on each trip? uhh your trip 10 years? lol
Nah, that's per outing. My number may be skewed by a couple hundred or so 😂
Good video! I have been meaning to try fishing the shaky head. Bought some but haven’t tried them yet.
Give em a shot, definitely will catch you some fish!
Good stuff Debo! Can’t wait to get out there.
Thanks man! Me too, I'm having feeshin withdrawals!
Wind chills in the single digits here today. I’m shaking my head!!!
Yuck. I feel for you man. I'm ready for this winter junk to be over!
Now I’m heading out for some wings
Your making me hungry
Save me a seat! I could use a beer and some wings!🤣
As said before never done a lot of finesse fishing. Have recently picked up some shaky heads and some soft plastics. Lots of great info. Thanks a bunch 👍👍
Thanks man! Hope the info helps. Good luck and catch some biggins!
Absolutely love the Yum pumpkin ed shaky heads. Caught an 8lber on 1 last January
Nice! I'd love to find an 8lber someday!
I sometimes like to throw a 1/8 oz shakey head, with a 4.5" zman finesse worm. I throw it on one of my BFS(UL baitcasting) setups . No spinning rods for me, much anymore.
Nice, that would do the trick! I need to get a rod for my BFS reel!
@@DEBOSFishing nice, what reel did you get? If you're looking for a good rod, check out the Kuying Teton rods, on aliexpress. Some of them you can get for around 60$ or so, and they are quality built with fuji parts. I have a 5'2 2 piece SUL one, and it's a buggy whip of a rod! They have other power rods that have more back bone for setting hooks with plastics n stuff too. The Kuying Teton rods are very popular, quality budget rods, in the Bait Finesse community. There's videos from all kinds of guys, allover the world, using them, and testing them. Now if you want something cheap, that you can pickup at the local walmart or whatever box store, right away, check out UL,L, and ML, rated spincast rods. Last night I landed 2 pickerel and my first bass of the year, on a 20$ shakespeare 2 piece micro graphite series 5'6" Light spincast rod. It's one of my favorite BFS rods, and it's only 20$. Might not be the most durable rod out there, but it works great for me. My Shimano Scoprion BFS xg looks nice on that rod, with the grey matte finish. I also have 2 of the 4'6" UL versions of the rod, that work great as well. The combo for the 4'6" rod runs somewhere around 18$ or so, and I just discard the spincast reel, and put my BFS reel on it. Before xmas I got one of these combos on sale for less than 6$! Also for BFS reels, it's a good idea to put less than 50 yards of line on the spool, for best casting performance. It even shows that on the boxes of some of my BFS reels.
I haven't us a shaky head but now after watching ur video im going to try it.
Heck yeah, give them a try man! Thanks for watching 👊
Very informative. Those lethargic bass love them shakey heads
Indeed! Shaking and dragging...they just seem to slurp it!
Thanks debo good info will be doing it this weekend!
Awesome! Hope you caught some biggins!
Hey debo speaking of trying diffrent plastics my favorite one on a shaky head is a baby brush hog.
Nice! I bet that would be a good one too!
Love the information. Definitely a technique I have yet to try! Spring can't get here soon enough.
Give em a shot. Pretty weedless and come through stuff well. Good luck man!👊
Thanks so much for your information. I need to slow down more.
The thanks goes to you for watching 👊
Hey, Debo's can I use a shakey head on a 8 inch Senko. Or maybe it can't handle the extra weight? Never used one before. I am using a Texas rigged now. Shawn
You would need a magnum shaky head that would handle an 8" senko.
@@DEBOSFishing Thanks, Debo's! Your the Greatest! Didn't know they had a Magnum Shakey head. Shawn
Now we're talking about my kind of fun. I do just like you said. Smaller set ups I go with spinning rod and reel set up. If I'm really going after a more vicious bite or fishing around serious brush piles where the fish have more girth, it's my baitcaster. I can use my spinning setup but I will break off alot easier. It's more more serious finessing involve but I don't want to keep retieing involved. Now I throw baby bushog on a luck E Strike football shakeyhead with a 1/4oz & 3.0 hook. I also use that Grande Bass worm we spoke about before. In spring bass here can be spooked real easy so I use baitcaster so I can get em out of there before they scare the others. I use Shakeyheads year round and I also use glass rattles alot. The fish here see the same ole same ole. I try to change it up. My favorite worm for Shakeyhead is a Big TRD worm and the XL TRD worms. They stand up all the time and are a mushier feel to the bite. Just my preference & most people think they are too expensive. I will glue them to the head of the football so they last longer. That trick worm you showed,.... I really like those too. They look awesome in the water. I'm going to try some of the worms you mentioned using on a Ned Rig. Those are perfect for the pond around the corner from me. They see alot of the same stuff. So time to throw something not favored. I wondered if you use scent on any of your baits??? I do but not always. Sometimes it is a must. I also started throwing a Bx Brat too. Not the bigger version like you see being advertised. It doesn't have rattles either. The silent model works like a dream. I really like it too. I do use 15lb test with it. I want it to stay shallow and be able to land that "Slaunch donkey" when she bites. I don't want to text a whole page but you are talking about my favorite method. Great video, btw.👊 I was waiting for one like this one!! Good stuff bruh 👌👌. Take care
That's great! I get excited like this talking about frog fishing. Gluing the plastic to the head of the jig is something I need to try too! Thanks for watching man 👊
I just bought a new baitcaster. I bought a Abu Garcia Black Max 3. I know, I know but I got a killer deal on it!! $30 & it's still in the blister pack. I had one before. I retired my 82 Lew's Speed spool bb2. It was getting old and it was beginning to make noises I didn't feel good about. I recently changed careers and I have less income so I have to shop frugally. I'm thinking about getting a Thunder Cricket & a couple of swim jigs so I needed another baitcaster. One I could use with ease so I went with ole faithful gear. I'm putting it on a Daiwa rod though 😛. Gotta love for the one piece 7' casting rods they make!! Besides I got a couple of boxes of CDRs for the handycam so I can video some of my catches this year. Wish I could afford a 13 Fishing reel or a new Lew's but after everything got stolen during my divorce, I can only afford the less expensive. But, I'm not going to be persuaded to give up the one thing I love so dearly. I'm not fishing tournaments anymore so I'm going to keep learning & loving what I do. It keeps me centered. I know you know what I mean. You never know.... I might just show up in Iowa one of these days & look up someone to fish with. I never caught big Pike. Big Chain pickeral but not Pike!!
Keep up the good work 🤘👍
Great vidja Debo
Thank you brother 👊👊👊
Don't want to shake head in my pond is the Beast I caught my PB on shaky head
Nice! They will definitely find fish in a pond!
Haven't gotten around to a Shakey head since I got back into fishing but it on the list. Great video 👍
Nice! They come in handy for sure! Good luck 👊
Baby brush hog on a shakey head is one of my favorite go to baits when bass are finicky light hook model works great !
I love the shakey head worms from Zoom. Got to try the bomb shot, never thought of it. Thanks.
Yeah, the trick worms are the OG IMO.

great tips as usual man. its like you knew i was on a string of finesse videos, shaky head being one of the main ones
Thanks man! The shaky head is a great versatile finesse rig!
Shaky head is my absolute favorite technique to use hands down. Perfect for all year round. The sweet beaver was also my first T-Rigged creature that I caught a bass on with green pumpkin being the color. Love your videos!
Hello expensive bait caster on the back ground. I only have a SLX and it’s killing me.
The SLX is a great reel man!
ONLY SLX? That is a superb reel.
My FAV shakeyhead jig is the Buckeye Lures Pro Model. The flat face gives a SUPERB fluttering action when jerked, both up and on the fall. My favorite trailer is the Rzr Shad. It darts ever which way with each hard jerk, thanks to the flat face of the 3/16 jig.

Hey Debo!! Miles here. Just wanted to tell you Truthfully, I watch Utube videos about 5 to 6 hours Everyday. Your videos by Far are the Most Informative than ANY of the others, Seriously!! I'm the same guy that asked you about putting tape on before spooling Braid / Florocarbon on my bait casting reels, I've heard on different channels do it this way, do it that way. I would just like to do it the way you do it. Keep up the Tremendous videos my Friend 🙂

How long is the Medium action spinning rod? (green 13 fishing rod) all I've used for shaky head fishing is premade combos from lews. I've been debating getting a higher quality spinning rod line the Dobyn's fury or something that won't tire me out casting it a lot. Have you tried the spot remover shaky head jigs?
I hop a 4” chigger craw on SH off the bottom from bank. Lots of 4-5 pounders in Nov-Jan in Texas.
Doesn’t work well for smaller bass or any other time of year. Then I use more of a finesse plastic.
Love how you cover all aspects of this type of fishing. Thanks. Only tried this method twice and after watching this video I realize I was fishing the shaky incorrectly. I plan on doing it right from now on. Way to go Debo.
Often times there isn't one right way. Make some changes and find what fits your style! Good luck man 👊👊👊
Hey do you go I don't know if you tried the Chompers by Table Rock tackle Shakey heads they got a pretty unique triangular head shape design with a screw lock keeper and I got some custom shaky-head poured locally by a guy in town here in West Virginia that are pretty awesome I usually pair I'm up was it roboworm be there in Aarons magic R&B or that Brent ehler color
I’ve been ignoring the shakey head. But now I understand it so much more.!! I knew I could depend on my mento DEBO!!!!! Thanks so much for this viDEBO ‘cause I finally get it. In fact I’m going to use it tomorrow!! Depending on the weather of course nd use the tequila sunrise worm!!!! I let you know how it goes!!!!
Great video Debo! Have you tried out the new Z-man SMH shakyhead and worm? Also the zman fattyz is a fantastic bulkier profile. I prefer plastics that float for shaky heads.
Outstanding video. Glad to find your channel after catching TJ81 on Easter SNL !👊🏻👍💪🏻
Those black ribbon tail powerbait worms are prob the most effective bait in my area....everytime Im out there fishing fancy setups and not getting any bites, I find myself always going back to the plain old black ribbon tail worm and it can usually get some bites and save ya from getting skunked
Hey dude.....thanks for the tons of info....tips....loved the video...and although I did not want to admit it....i was one of those shaker guys....shaking it all the way....after this video....i will give it more time to have the tail do the work for me...thanks again for all the help!!!
Glad to have found a fellow Iowan fisherman. Love the channel! Keep up the great videos.
