Debo, thanks for another good video, would love to have your success ratio. Im sure you have days that are not so great that we never see, but you are still my hero and I'm 81. Thank you.
Debo, what I have found with new braided line is that it has a stiffness that allows it to peel off spinning reels easily, especially spiderwire. I use 20lb power pro on a baitcaster initially then transfer it over to my spinning gear after it has broken in. I also have a spare, deep-spool baitcaster that I use for line removal and transfer
DEBO, I really appreciate you putting in the wind knot and a bad cast, etc. Sometimes you go fishing and things go a little sideways and it's reassuring to know it's not just us! Keep up the great work!
We're having some really killer temperatures right now and the next 3 days are supposed to be the best 3 we've had in months. I'm going first thing in the morning. Tomorrow is a top water first thing & plastics the rest of the morning. Water levels have dropped some more since I went last so I'm going after some early angry eaters!! Full day spent today in the cardiac unit testing & finding out what happened last time so I'm going with a more serious approach. It's time to catch a few big ones. This cooler morning should be some fun. Thanks for sharing
Today was an absolute perfect Shakey worm day. The color was Green pumpkin with orange glitter. 2 break offs that I'm sure were over 2 lbs.a piece. Today I decided to change my line to another level. Yes, I'm going to Sunline!!!!! Tired of all the hype but I haven't been happy with Seaguar braid nor fluorocarbon lines. The cost is too much for what you get. I've been a fan for years but it is not the same anymore. I've used different lines as we all do but I want a top knotch quality when I'm paying top dollar for the product. Knot strength can be an issue but today, they were tight to the bottom and hit from the back and swam to you so you had to have your hookset game on! Fun times and yes I'm going back in the morning
Mr. Debo everytime I go home to NE I have to stop at Casey's, especially if I drive past one before 9 am...their breakfast pizza is the best that's ever been! Great feeshin vid too btw
Hey Debo, yeah for me i used to always fish a zoom baby brush hog green pumpkin..nonstop!!lol I fished it everywhere and at every spot I would fish at and nothing else. And now I hardly use it, experimented with other lures and set ups and now they back in the shed somewhere lol
I have not thrown the smaller sized ribbon tail worm this year, like you I've been focusing on other techniques, this year is cranking and Texas rigged senkos.
Hey Debo, I have had the same issue with spyder wire. Thought it was just me! Thanks for showing things like that. Fishing is always an adventure. Ya never know what may happen. Enjoy the content 👊
It's great when you can visit old favorites and find they still catch fish, but then you question yourself as to why did I stop using them in the first place, Haha.
That’s been my go to rig that I’ve been using every late summer, early summer I went with a craw Texas rig and slow rolled but until it’s gotten to the high 90s degree mark where I’ve switched to the Shakey head with a yum dinger, I like using it on a medium rod to have more sensitivity and when I twitch it it has better action
Fresh tater bites from Casey's are 🔥. I just tied me on a shakey head for a tourny next weekend. I don't know why but I've quit throwing Zman worms. Gonna have to get them out again.
I had spider wire snap on the inside of the spool. I didn't notice it until I lost my jackhammer. 65lb braid and I saw my brand new jackhammer soar into space.
I’ve gotten away from throwing a t-rigged senko as I’ve been trying to learn new techniques but I caught my PB this weekend going back to a black and blue senko. Seemed to be the only thing working, too 🤷🏻♂️. Oldies but goodies for the win 🏆.
Are you serious Lol?? It’s a Reel my friend wow it should cast itself and make Coffee for 500 bucks, my first Car was 500 bucks lol great Video Guys… stay safe
@@DEBOSFishing I did try some Spider wire that Walmart had on Clearance and man it’s just like Wire it’s pretty stiff. I haven’t tried casting yet but the outlook seems Grimm lol
I like the video, I want to work on catching shakey head feesh, just don't feel like the mushy bottoms here in Florida are ideal, only caught 1 a couple hrs, I had to move on! Not a fan of Spyderwire!
Hey Debo love your channel, thanks for all the great info. I would love to try one of your bluegill color square bills that you painted I love how realistic you make them look , how would a Debo dinks fan go about getting one of your baits?
1/4 shakey head and a Plasma Tail was my go to for so long. Started trying new stuff and you just made me realize I haven’t thrown a plasma tail in months. 😔
How do you know what side to keep the reel on depending if you are right or left handed? At beginning of this video the line guides(?) - small metal circular guides attached to rod which the line is threaded through. At the beginning of this video they are at the bottom of the rod - but, he is using a spinner reel. What if you are using a baitcast reel? I am right handed - do I keep the reel on the right side? If that is the case those small little circular guides end up on top of the rod. Have I've been fishing upside down for the past year with my spinner reel/rod combo? Does everything change when you go to a baitcast reel? I am new to fishing - please help, I truly believe you have the best informative fishing videos on youtube. Thank-you very much.
I'm notorious for quitting on a bait for some reason, a zoom Super Fluke used to be my go to and I can't remember the last time I threw one, as far as shakeyheads I caught a 7.5 lber late spring and haven't thrown one of those either SMH
I seem to have a lot of weird line management issues with my tatula lt reel . I use power pro 10 lb test as my main line and I get tons of wind knots and weird issues. I use the same power pro on my shimano stradics and have never had an issue. I don’t think those tatula spinning reels perform very well with braid to leader personally.
Hey Debo, you should try out the Zoom Lizards, I started using them recently and they have been doing me pretty well, Especially the green pumpkin color
I bought a bunch of smh stuff and for some reason haven’t used it matter fact I forgot about them until I watched this video. Think maybe it’s time to start throwing them lol

Ayyy new video from Debo.
Man that daiwa reel looks sweet!
It’s dope got 3 of them
That line will get better as you break it in. Thanks for the vids and sick beat at the end. 🙏🏼

Every time you say Smoke Purple I hear the Deep Purple, “Smoke on the Water” guitar riff in my head.
love when i get a new debo video notification!! 👍 great video as always! Ive never fished a shaky head, but might have to try now 😁
Always enjoy the content haven’t been fishing long enough to have forgotten about one I just need to learn to throw different stuff 🔥🔥🎣🎣
Love me a little shakey worm! 🪱

Great video Debo. I've also had issues with SpiderWire line. Gave it two chances, never again. Nice combo too. ✌🏻😎🎣

Shakin my head rig 😂 that’s a good one MR Deebo
sup debo. been working on right bait with the Shakey heads I have. hard time finding with bigger hooks. this helps. ty tc
I get wind knots with PowerPro Slick v2. Switched to J-Braid Grand, haven't had issues since. Much more supple
Hey Debo, I have had the same issue with spyder wire. Thought it was just me! Thanks for showing things like that. Fishing is always an adventure. Ya never know what may happen. Enjoy the content 👊
Awesome vidjya as usual! I have the dobyns fury 702sf for shakeyheads and (gasp) drop shotting. Love it! Hafta pick up some SMH worms next
It's great when you can visit old favorites and find they still catch fish, but then you question yourself as to why did I stop using them in the first place, Haha.
Try Cortland masterbraid. Best braid on the market hands down. Doesn't lose color and and very few if any wind knots.
Shakey Head ALWAYS Catchin Em 🎣🎣🎣

I have the Tatula 3000 size and I love it. Will be getting another
Fishings been super tough for me in PA. Low water levels, lots of grass and weeds. It’s tough out here at the end of summer.
Good video, keep up the good work

Last two weeks I’ve been using the shaky head. Try the Tmac from netbaits.
Ive caught quite a few skinny bass like that this summer! Poor guys. Fast metabolism!
Just started fishing again and caught about 9 today on the buzzbait late afternoon. Kinda fun

How are you liking the Kaden?
Thanks for the video! What size line were you casting? Definitely having wind not issues. Have to try casting a shaky head next outing thanks
10lb line...it's some wiry stuff.
Great video I have a shaky head tight on and I’m going to fish it
When I'm facing a skunk, I reach for the shaky head. It has been clutch for me this year
Then Kayden rods are killer for the price 🔥

They get snagged too much...

Do you ever rig a fluke on a jig head. I have been experimenting and I have had no luck. Is weightless the move with flukes.
I once caught a big bass on a gummy worm. Only bite I had,
so I ended up eating my bait.
Sorry to see purple worms catching bass. Now everyone knows! LOL
I am not a fine of spiderwire. I have tried it a couple different times and just not a fan. Regular powerpro for me seems to work best.
Which spider wire is it. I actually just bought some and it is my favorite and I usually use seagur
It's the new Dura stuff. 10lb line was quite wiry
Hey Debo, you should try out the Zoom Lizards, I started using them recently and they have been doing me pretty well, Especially the green pumpkin color
I found some in the discount bin at Walmart and they are the bigger lizards by Yum and they work really well!

how are those new abu reels
What are good places to fish around cedar rapids an iowa city?
I never liked spider wire. Great video though !
A dink o lishes day
I'll never buy spider wire line again lol the stuff off Amazon is way better.
I never catch anything on the shakey head… 🤷🏾♂️
Seriously Debo? A $500 reel and you cry about a $25 vision 110? LOL 🤣
Didn't cost me close to that or I wouldn't have gotten it 😉
Have you use one before? They are the hype
Dab of super glue right at the head will keep that worm in place for ever.
I've never had any luck with lures so far do very well with nightcrawlers
I hate spiderwire..found Berkeley X9 is great so far
Spiderwire is sooooo bad I'm surprised it's still around lol
Garbage line for sure
Spyder wire is trash in my experience
