I think the rank of these tanks has been outdated and also, more tanks has been introduced. Also, I just noticed that you take too many sells for crusader Mk II imo. Another note is that the crusaders do get to rank 2 and all get the scouting which is pretty nice.

New to world of tanks and I love the Daimler AC, got 10 kills with it one round, it's versatility is something to behold especially for a 3 man crew.

the "sticky" feeling tanks in tier 1 are that way because they use a combination of track braking as well as track warping to steer similarly to the soviet BT series of tanks.
Please keep this series going, not just for focusing on the less popular vehicles but it will really help new players to a tech tree decide if they want to main it. Love the detail that goes into every single tank.

I love crusader Mk III, in it even tigers and panthers are fair game. 6pdr is love, 6pdr is life.
Something like the sturmpanzer II can also do that.

Well, the crusaders received scouting! Very excited, my little crusader boy is now a proud member of my higher line ups and *definitely* holds its own.

I love my Daimler, flank into a hidey hole, call arty and pop out and shoot enemy while the arty has them occupied.
Crusader is my highest tank ATM, loving the scouting.
And the Tetrarch is adorable even though the turret is cranked by a couple of anaemic hamsters.

if you learn to play well with the British tanks when you swap to the American and Russian ones you will completely stomp face.
I played up to the Centurions as my first tech tree and then started with the Russians, it was like playing on easy mode.

at that point the game is just unplayable, especially stock. Playing germans is just a cake walk it's pish easy. Ruskis too.

@@TerribleP I was originally an American player (yeah yeah pile on the bs crying about freeaboos) but when I transitioned over to Britain I was actually like "woah! This is actually fun!" All the German players had actually had some reason to whine about USA, and since there were so many American tanks people constantly whined about them. Plus, from the M4A2 on the USA has no armor and not great gun until we get up to the Super Pershing, and that's at 6.3. The Brits had great light tanks, especially now that crusaders get scouting, and a heavy at 2.7 as well as a heavy line going from 3.0-4.7. Plus the Cromwell is a lovely lovely tank. The Brits also get arguably one of the best American TDs. Then there's the AAs, my favorite in the game. I'm not even gonna start talking about the planes, I'll just say I love my 2 main CAS aircraft. Call me insane but the Swordfish is one of the best planes for lowtier ground RB. I've even killed kv-1s and even a Tiger one time with the things. Then my firecrest is also one of the best aircraft I can think of. Great speed, decent firepower, meh manueverability, but gawd I love the bombs. The bombs are so easy to aim for me and so satisfying to take out 3 tanks with them. (Pro tip: when you hear a plane don't all group closer together lol)

I love the Valentine Mk.1. Angling at 45 degrees can often make even the best German rounds bouncy, and I often get the highest kill counts with the Valentine, despite its speed.

I'm so happy that you continue your series with Britain. On my account they were the first nation I played, but I left for Russia because the top tier has so many gaps.
Sad to see that you dislike the MK.7A AA. I honestly love shooting down planes with it, the 4 machineguns will deal with pretty much anything fast. Also, unlike other early AA's it can survive many shots from planes, because the crew isn't as exposed.
Btw. Crusader is truly a great tank, though it does feel bad to club so many of the new players :/
For the Independent you should have mentioned, that showing your side armour also adds a chance of your dead crew soaking up enemy shells lol. I love using tanks like these to soak up shells and give my team more of a chance to shoot at the enemy. Sadly it does not have as many guns as the T-35.
Gaijin should add an Armoured Car tree to the UK, like Italy. There are so many potentional tanks (?) they could add, it's a shame that they decided to add the AEC Mk.2 as a premium. There are also some Commonwealth vehicles which would fit in that tree perfectly. Britain deserves more love!

I thank you for your videos, it's really interesting and instructive. I'm a former WT player, and needed a big break from the game (tired of it, not enough place left on my PC and the grind was beginning to get me annoyed on most nations) for a few years. But with the addition of the T10 and some new nations (I think I have played the T1 Swedish, but I'm not sure yet, it's been a while) I am looking into coming back.
The discord seems like a very good idea, and I hope I can get some advice about how to minimize the grind and get the tanks I want a bit faster (I'm mostly a Free to Play player), so, I may take a look on it and ask some questions and advice on it.
Your video series on the ground forces are excellent, and especially nice for new-ish players, or to get an idea for the higher tiers, so, thank you.
I just finished the German ones and I'm waiting for the USA and France series (but you will probably do the Russia before, your call) and I love the time you take to explain clearly what you mean, and emphasis you put on what is your opinion, and what the strengths and weaknesses of every single vehicles are.
It's an amazing work and I very found of it.
So, please keep doing it, at the pace you feel comfortable with, and don't cut on quality in favour of quantity/shorter delays, I think it's not why most of your viewers are here for. It is some great work, and it's both relaxing, entertaining and informative (I know, both is for 2 adjectives, and I had 3, but you get the idea).
PS : any advice on the French low tier AA with the 40 Bofors? I never succeded to get the hang of it.
For whatever reason, I've had a few of my best games in that old Valentine Mk1. Got my first 10 kill RB match ever on ash river, immediately followed by a 14 kill 6 assist match on the same map, RB again. Pretty much just drove in a straight line continuously firing both times until the matches were over. I think I fully spaded it in those 2 matches if I remember right. Will always love that tank from all that.

might sound odd but i think you should make a bush tutorial as a lot of people (including myself till recently) dont know how to get them eg warbonds and dont know how to best cover their tank up.
Also setting video might help new players because its another thing left uncovered by content creators for example being able to turn of grass in sights ect. Which might help them idk.

Crusader Mk3 is the most fun tank in game. It's a real sim battle champion will always jump in when it in the line up. Smoke smoke smoke, boom boom boom. Job done!

The crusaders mg is in an A.A. turret. It usually works if you point the curser up
I always find the tetrach plays basically like a limited traverse td but you can set the limited traverse orientation to the hull, Like the m10. Play it with gun forwards till you are setting up for a corner or get disabled. Simply traversing the hull is quicker and gives chance for snap shots

Yay, series continues... one suggestion, maybe put in the title or somewhere else with which War Thunder version you did this video, so that people in a year or so, to ensure it is put into the right timeline context.
Another thing worth mentioning about the Crusader MK3 is that it seems to have a pretty low profile, and if you can get good with it you can learn to arc shots over hills.
After finish this tech tree can you do germens next?

The Deus Vult wagon is really really good. And now they have scouting. I use the MkIII up at 4.7 and it works really well even against tigers and panthers from the side.

the sticky driving you've been talking about is probably the lack of grip on the road, due to the tank beign too light and having a too strong engine, so when it turns its likely to "drift"
Crusaders are my all time favorits! So much fun and so much kills on maps like Stalingrad.

The Crusader Mk. III packs so much smoke grenades, because they are fired THROUGH the turret roof via a small tube and thus can be reloaded from the inside of the vehicle where the grenades ara also stored

Played at top BR with the A13 mk 2, an apfsds round went straight through the space between the turret side and added armour. Was able to cap point, and we actually won that game
I can vouch for the Independent being usable. Even some veterans are shocked when they see this thing rolling down the street and aren't sure where to shoot to knock it out in one shot. It has a decent reload and I've knocked out more than a few German tanks with its rounds. However, I will agree it's not worth the price. I got it when it was half off.
Also it is mandatory to play The British Grenadiers song while you use this tank at ALL times
I used the Daimler armoured car at 3.7 the other day and got 3 kills (which is 2.5 above average). It’s really fun
I got into the British tech tree after seeing a Valentine I which surprised me because it was the only thing I hadn’t been able to pen with my t-26-4 and it also massacred my team getting like 7 kills without moving
Independant is one of those i pull out to just get a giggle
My 2.7 line up is the Matilda II, Crusader MkIII, Valentine MK 1, 2.3 Wellington, and the Hurricane Troop. Its a very good line up, and I've found the Matilda and Crusader are extremely effective even in an uptier

@ 14.32 i have never had that bug before in a British low tier tank, im not convinced it is one yet. If you notice your coaxial mg was damaged and knocked out, hence only the front mg was working. I think theres a conflict somewhere thats causing it. Like for instance, you may have your mg bound to a different keys like the (special mg fire) button to directly control mg's on the tanks.
ever since the AP damage buff and the penetration system update the 2 pounder is probably the best all round gun at rank 1
They buffed AP and then added an actual APHE and High(er) velocity AP rounds for the 2pdr. Unquestionably the best all round gun for the tier now.

Oddly I've always done great with Tetrarch and was my last tier one to be replaced, never really been able to do will with the daimler though.

First, let me say that I love your channel and look forward to each new post.
Regarding this video I have to say that I really want to like the British tech tree as much as you seem to, but I’m having a hard time not seeing it as mostly “consider it” material at best. Keep in mind that I only play ground RB (no planes) at BR < 5.7.
The usual response I've seen for such complaints ranges from "you're playing it wrong" or just "get better". But that's the point really, an instrument that's only "good" when wielded by a "good" player isn't really that good at all, only the player is. I mean wouldn't most tanks be great when used by a highly experienced player?
Not being a great, or possibly even a good player myself, I still feel that an equally skilled player using a German, American or Russian vehicle would do better than one using a comparable British vehicle. When I get killed in those other nations vehicles I generally ascribe it to my playing, my teammates playing or something Gaijin related. Whereas as I try to work the British line I mostly complain about the vehicles short comings.
Maybe it's me and this will go away in time.
Anyway, thank you for the time and effort you clearly put into your videos.
All this talk of the various ways certain tanks can do well and you can have a lot of fun,
but when I play I just drive onward and get oneshot, next tank, drive onward and get oneshot, next tank...

I have actually found that the front at plates on the a13s absolutely chew up a lot of rounds, and are hella hard to pen.

I have to argue that the valentine is a very capable vehicle in my low tier British lineup and is normally my second choice after the crusader mark 2 if I can’t get the hurricane

The Daimler is great for killing Leopards at high tier, also gets you 30k SL for one kill.
I’ve talked out a lot of aircraft with the mk. Via aa it’s hard to use but actually okay. I’ve also killed a few tanks but I’ve just started the game so
I bet you next patch they will add in a British Light tank/armoured car line, I mean Britain does need more scouts
