6:40 aimbot settings overlay. brilliant.
Lmao this dude cheats?
@@ox3996 the joke went very far over your head it seems
@@pinkythedolphin295 I didnt get the context just clicked on the video mark
@@ox3996 He is not cheating. Oxy added an overlay into the video, showing settings for an aimbot. The context is, that the Sherman has a stabilized gun, which is very unusual for a low tier tank and "helps getting the first shot off on the move".
@@ox3996 he was showing how some guy was accusing him of using cheats. After the screenshot fades out of the screen, the aimbot overlay is shows up. Basically just an elaborate joke
Man I can understand salt coming my way but you're literally such a nice dude, I don't know what that guy was smoking. Thanks for memeing him, that is precisely what people like him deserve
I cracked up at the bit after that, where it shows a cheat in the corner
Unique, quality and honest content. I. Love. It.
10:10 I think you meant to say 3-inch game carrier.
You mean the mobile bunker?
He meant to say Invincible Destroyer of Worlds
16:02 this is easily the easiest part of the video to easily listen to :)
Easily it is
The cromwell 1 is actually a bit faster on paper since it doesn’t have it’s speed limited like the later Cromwells
Has higher top speed but can't reach it if it's not going downhill or on road. Later cromwells have improved transmission and gears, making them overall faster on rough terrain.
It’s pretty situatonal but the cromwell 1 can retain the speed
Didn’t even mention the 20 degrees of gun depression on the Matilda... so powerful
Poor Vally XI. It's actually one of my more effective tanks at this BR. Also, when will these twats give the Cromwell its actual armour? It never had 64mm. It had 76mm. They keep it at 64, so the Wirbelwind can pen it.
It’s really annoying that they claim historical accuracy and then shit on it
@@skwidthecrayfsh34 not enough leaked documents 😔
I always love people accusing good players of cheating. It really tells how frustrated they are.
It tells how bad they are too. I’ve encountered people who really were cheating before. There’s no sign of cheating here. You can call any of us a cheater or hacker and to kill ourselves all you want. All we have to say is “Git gud kid!”
Vulpseus the Fox lol
And looking at 6:32 , I think its from a kid
@@VulpseiusFox yeah his just aiming on instinct, once you get enough matches on a single tank, you can estimate ranges just by how big something looks and be correct at 90% of the time, and you can see that on the videos, he misses the first shot on the t34 and than walks the shot to the target, miss, low hit, perfect hit, a cheater would just auto hit you
@@alexandreogrande2100 I mean this guy is literally a veteran in wt, I've just started playing 2 years ago and I could sometimes aim like this guy just not everytime
DONT YOU SPEAK ILL OF MY POOR VALENTINE BOY
Too slow.
i n d e e d
all british tanks are slow except the american land lease ones lol going any faster would spill the tea from their tea pots on the built-in cooking stove ;)

Garbage
And here @ 6:30 we have a most vibrant species. The Deranged Messaging Marauder in its natrual habitat. Here we see it trying to tear in to its victim but to the Marauder's misfortune his victim just shrugs it off.
I think it might be better to use the Crusader Mk.III instead of the Valentine in the 3.0 lineup.
Defintly agree the Crusader III works great in a 3.0 line up especially late game as a mop up vehicle
@@jonsouth1545 +1 from me too, the Crusader 3 is a much better tank.
I use the mkIII at 7.0 sometimes. It's such a good tank.
@@incognito9292 It feels that considering the armour values the Crusader has actual more armour than the Valentine when in a match..
The valentine was the first British medium I got and I absolutely *hate* it. I don’t know if I’m just playing it wrong but my usual play style is go as fast as possible, try not to die. I only like to play slow tanks if they make up with it with ridiculous armour (like the 3 inch Gun Carrier).
Thank you very much for making these Oxy I really love them and having started playing the brits I find these very useful :) please make some more and continue the good work
I LOVE my churchill mark 1
And about the movility ok, only 25 km/h, but you dont feel it like a problem. And is pretty agile if you know how to turn.

People are meaner to the gun carrier deserves, I promise it’s a good tank guys stop bullying my poor baby boy!
I’m with you there. When I first got it I fully expected to be slaughtered since I’ve heard so much negative stuff about it. But when I took it out for myself, I found it to be a complete bully. The armor is actually really nice and that gun is a hot knife cutting through butter. It’s awesome!

To any who don’t know, there’s a famous Australian poem known as ‘Waltzing Matilda’.
‘Hedgehog Matilda, Hedgehog Matilda, you’ll come a-firing mortars with me, and he sent off the shots, and missed every one of them, you’ll come a-firing mortars with me’.
The quality of your videos is just mind boggling, well worth the time invested. Keep up the great work and congrats on what you have created so far!
That could've been my greatest moment but alas. Nice video mate!
You almost did it.
As usual, another fantastic video
Love your content , your knowledge and passion of the game brings the thunder back for me 😁. Mission accomplished oxi
Great work buddy, I enjoyed it very much so. Cant wait for the rest of the British series as well as the other countries.
Great information as always oxy thank you for your hard work and sorry you have to deal with such toxic salt
Thank you for the demonstration of your light, i love such random tidbits.
The Matilda is unfortunately rather over-BR'd in Arcade, since at 3.0 you regularly face the Pz IV F2 and other powerful 3.7s
cwjian90 who tf plays arcade anyways
Reagan James Infidel!
Reagan James u play on console??? Thats even worse!
Reagan James understandable everybody has his own preferences
arcade is good for grinding modules and crew but thats it .. :P
Waiting for the high tier! thank you so much for the effort. well recieved!
You seem to be one of the only youtubers out there who actually like and reccomend the 3 inch gun carrier, which is nice to see when someone actually apprieciates that big gormless beast!
Was just refreshing my Gmail and BOOM oxy😂😂
Oh no! Your oxygen got stolen?
Great video once more. Keep up the awesome work!!
Listening to this while falling asleep, your voice is great man
Great video as always! Fun fact my best tank at that rank is the archer with a k/d of just above 2.0 hahaha and both mosquito are great as CAS especially with there speed to avoid enemy fighters
Funny enough for me, I have my highest victory rate in my Archer, at 68% it’s about 10-15% higher compared to any of my other tanks that I commonly used, and almost 30% higher than my current 4.7 lineup tanks iirc.
How the fuuuuuuuck?
You honesty have the best WT videos on YT.
found this randomly, that was a great review. I started a new account recently and have been re-grinding through the tree without premium. I gotta say it's so much more enjoyable sinch ap got buffed when the french came out.
You can always go to the fuse box and turn the lamp of that way.
Love these videos. Can't wait for you to get to the other nations.
I'm a fan of your tank reviews.
6:40 Nice meme Oxy
By far my fav. WarThunder content creator.
As a very regular user of the Churchill Mark I (it's effectively become my chillout, have-fun tank of choice) I absolutely agree with everything you've said on it here Oxy. The 2-pounder is definitely losing potency by BR 3.0 but can still punch holes in most things it faces with some practice, while the 3-inch hull howitzer is excellent for smoke dispension and ruining Puma driver's days by blowing their wheels off for hullbreak luls. The armour is genuinely glorious; the turret front is immensely strong - 100mm is very good for 3.0, but the internal mantlet plate can add another 50mm on top provided an incoming round doesn't strike the gunner's sight or vertical aiming slots of the 2-pounder or BESA. The hull is similarly tanky as well - the driver's vision port is some 88(ish)mm thick, but the plate surrounding the 3-inch howitzer is double thickness too - it's one of the few tanks I've used routinely capable of being driven straight at the enemy and having an actual chance of survival, it's such a great lay-back-and-enjoy tank to use.
For the rest of the review though I agree on absolutely everything else - I was fortunate enough to pick up an AEC when they were just 15 Gaijin Coins, and it's a very good scout vehicle. Very punchy later-version 6-pounder, enough armour to resist automatic weapons fire (looking at you Puma), and surprisingly good offroad performance for an armoured car because of the wide tyres. All-round I really appreciate the effort and work you put into these reviews Oxy, you dive in real deep on the gameplay and go into detail on everything important about each vehicle. Great work man, I look forward to tier III!
I saw that little cheat menu. Very cheeky, lol.
where
After getting the engine and transmission mods for the Archer you get the hang of racing and spinning it into position. It takes some practice but you can get your gun into position fairly quickly, take your shot and back off. Inverting the axis in your head takes some practice as well. But that gun is amazing.
Wow u are 2ay under subed. You deserve 10x more subs your stuff is amazing
Your vids are so useful
Good luck to you when you Cover the Tier 6 Chieftains always find themselfes at The 8.7 Apfsds madnes so they have no mobility no Amor and really no good scope cause gajin forgot to update it. My tip would be close quaters and City fighting cause everyone can outperform you with Apfsds at range
War Thunder needs a game mode where you capture the enemies base (kinda like in WoT). This creates a frontline naturally and makes the game even more authentic. Also this game needs new game modes.
and way better designed maps .. i think the wot maps have much more thought behind them..
But wouldn't that make the spawn on base while capping?
Amazing guide it actually tells me what the vehicles are like.
Would be nice though if you had the tech tree in the corner and the current vehicle highlighted, also putting the name of the vehicle at the top of the screen
I use the Archer as my last-ditch effort to counter the enemy in my 4.7 preset, good gun and low spawn point cost.
Churchill mk1 really came into it's own once I unlocked the smoke shells. get to a cap, saturate the area with smoke then hit them with your gun as they get in close and bounce shots off you as they can't see anything.
Awesome vid! :)
the churchill 1 is excellent for learning how to aim for weak spots. its very well armored, decently mobile for what it is, and is really survivable when it does get penetrated.
so you have a lot of time and plenty of chances with the quick reload time of the 40mm to aim for weak spots.
ive pushed my whole team up to points from getting reduntantly spawn killed and sorely loosing to winning because of its armor and survivability.
12:36 THEY WHAT?! I love this tank and I main it.
Can't wait for ya to get to the AVRE
I know this video is years old at this point, but I’m going to comment anyway. The 3-inch gun carrier is my go-to at rank 2 and I think you described it perfectly
Tier II is such a fun tier for the British. They get some of their best and most enjoyable tanks in the game, like the Cromwells, the Valentines, the Matilda, the first of the Churchill and even a Sherman to play around with. Plus the very first 17-pounder in the whole game, on a terrible vehicle but still it's a 17-pounder at 2.7. Nothing at the rank can reliably survive a well aimed shot with it.
good review , very useful
Saying the 2-pounder on the Churchill I "starts to struggle a little" is one hell of an understatement.
i love this series, Pro's "one thing" Cons "Everything" verdict? "Get it" haha still true today
I’m struggling with tier 4 Britain can’t wait for that video
That's just German 6.7 being absurdly OP. Gaijin downtiered the entire 7.0 lineup to 6.7 over the last few months.
Rank 4 is great. Use your stabilizers and good armor to work
Asif Talpur right now I’m in the grind into tier 4 I should of clarified but so far the Centurion 1 is a joy
@@bigbully1277 yeah your 6.7 lineup is great, don't listen to people saying BrItIAn is sUfFeRinG or anything like that. It's a different playstyle but rewarding too. Unlock a proper 6.7 lineup and you'll have loads of fun.
Im in teir 5 almost 6 in Britain and your 1 of 6 people ive ever heard or read saying the 6in gun carrier is good i love that tank its not my favorite that goes to the fv4202 but that doesnt change that i still play the gun carrier i actually played 2 games with it today
That second AA tends to run out of ammo really easily unfortunately
Like the vid before seeing it. Always.
Good video
Well I love the Cromwell RP-3
As I masterd it whit the rockets.
Going at a certain speed and breaking, you lower the tank and can shoot a tank.
The tanks I've killed whit This tactic is immense.
Yes you can die too fast and very easy.
But you sure smile wide when killing a Maus whit a RP-3 on a Cromwell.
However. I'd rather have the option to untick that rocket module and have two cromwells 5 go into a match ..
Britain’s problem until rank 3 “The shell hasn’t done any damage” “the shell hasn’t hit”
the A.C.I was added as an event vehicle and its amazing
The Texts with the Cheatbuster wannabe was too damn funny
Can’t wait for tier 3; Comet is my favourite.
Man, I love the archer.
At 2.7 the D.510 premium is viable as it has a 20mm Hispano cannon and does come with a Ground target belt that is easily capable of going through the roofs of any tank as well as being a pretty capable fighter although ammo is limited
@Oxy Please do a line review on the USSR tanks. Great job. Keep it up!
Fun fact:
The Churchil MK.I has a double stack 89mm of frontal armor on its left side (Player perspective) so that means it has a wonderful 178mm of protection, that's more than the Churchill Mk.VII
The Churchill mk1 actually has 180mm of armour on the 75mm gun plate. Meaning if you angle it properly, it is invulnerable
Oxy my guy ❤️
I'm happy the Valentine XI is at 2.7 now, i see alot of dowtiers now where i have a shermans gun at 2.3
11:03 THE BRICK i once rounded a corner and got on a good angle where i proceeded to take 3 rounds from about half the enemy team all of which where a panzer variant after their 3 rounds and the removal of my gun barrel and tracks most of them left for the capture point, except for one pz3 L who used basically their entire ammo pool to keep me disabled.
In the end that new swedish AA got behind me and shot through the 20mm plate on the back.
I think higher BR for Sherman II comes from the fact the British tree was made in the time when War Thunder still had at least some respect for the years of service and since Shermans appeared in British forces quite late in the war, hence the BR
Dude I also play with coffee it helps me out so much
I actually considered the archer quite a good tank, however if you play how it’s supposed to be played that’s what it’s gonna get good reason why it’s backwards so when you’re an enemy that you can’t penetrate them from the front and still continue dragging forward As in you run into an enemy you’re gonna still fishing behind enemy looks at you but you’re still moving and running off as the gun is still facing the enemy which gives you more time to escape and attack at the same time!
Cromwell V has top speed of only 52 kph while Cromwell 1 has top speed of 64 kph! A massive improvement
While talking about the 3 Inch Gun Carrier you recommended getting the mobility upgrades first, Where you adressed one of thems as the Tracks, Pardon my maybe rather naive question but i never noticed any remarkable changes in the tanks mobility at all when getting them (Accelaration or neutral cornering). My question then being, Does the tracks affect how the tank handles at all other than giving it more capabilities to climb steep angles and resist more damage ?
PD: Excellent video as always keep it up mate , Cheers!
They increase the traverse time of the vehicle, and since it has neutral steering, greatly benefits the Gun Carrier. I watched a video about what the modifications actually do (might have been one of Oxy's, not sure) and when you actually see a comparison, you can really appreciate the difference it makes.
@@thisTG Nice ! Thanks for the feedback !
To be fair, modifications in the tank depends on a tank itself. Some modifications show bigger improvement on some tanks. As for tracks, they mostly change two/three thing:
- how much your tank gonna stick to the ground. ( it's mostly visible when you try to climb hills. your tank will not slip as much as it does without them.)
- durability of the tracks ( it will take more shots to destroy your track, also it might be just mine experience, but they also make harder for shells to pen through them, especially recommended on churchill's hulls)
- your mobility (sometimes they increase speed, but only on some tanks, and for some tanks it makes turning on spot possible, or just easier)
I know I am not the person you asked, but I think an advice from lvl 60 player is good enough. Obviously it's just my experience, it might be actually different.
Are you doing these for all nations/tiers? They are very nice.
Btw there is now a premium corsair sitting at 2.7 with 6x50 cals, good alternative for that martlet
The British 20mm HEF rounds deal abysmal damage. One direct hit doesn't even kill a crew member so you can imagine how poorly they damange aircrafts.
Both the SPAA and planes should mainly use AP rounds until this issue is fixed.
Honestly, i find most of the brit tanks at this teir pretty alright. Churchill is nutty good, like, drive to the enemy spawn and kill everything on the way, while the 75mm Valentine ive found plays similar to a slow sherman, and ive always found its gun more reliable than the 57mm on the tank, plus the mg is always useful. The GC is great at either long urban fighting or long distance sniping, but suffers from flanking with a poor team, and i swear its missing some side armour, if you look at it it looks like it has two plates of side, yet only has one modelled.
9:03 did the driver explode? Holy hell man...
i hope you go for the american tree
i really had a bad time on those and still am
Favorite tank is the Matilda. Love it.
it's TEA TIME
RIP Churchill I, your orignial BR will be missed.
The cheat watermark got me lmao
Made the archer because they wanted to make sure they could shoot while running away... XD Also... the grant is not an exact copy of the grant in the US tree because there is no grant in the US tree. There’s an M3 Lee in the US tree, which, ok I get it they basically are more or less the same.
Wow i didn't know the matilda had those weakspots, Def gonna help me
Could you do a guide for American Ground Forces after you’re done with the Brits?
I will always have a soft spot for the 3in gun carrier, due to the fact that I wasn't able to pen it with APDS rounds with the lago 1
I nearly forgot that the 2 pdr got aphe shells, that way tanks such as the matilda and churchill mk 1 are not nearly as painful to use.
I now understand that coffee increases survivability. Thank you kind sir! Off to drink 10 ten cups of strong dark coffee
Tea or Coffee - that is why British tanks have boiling vessels in them (Kettles)
I play the cromwell 5 RP3 alot. I use it in 9.0 and up, for most games it's the only thing I get kills with so I have no issues with it.
