Question so this is for already texturized hair ? And also when re texturizing it u said cover the whole head in dax hair grease? Then touch up only the new growth or the whole head?
@ Life with Quanda I came here because I'm considering touching up my new growth for stretch. I used ors tex & just for me tex 1 week apart & I highly disliked how it straighten my hair. I've tried tex lax, curl stretch, but just for me is the best. You did a good job fixing the tex at the end. & you can purchase 100% aloe vera powder online and create a paste. Or I blend & strain mines then use a applicator bottle.
One side was a little poofy and didn’t get as loose but I’m glad you don’t see it as a fail!! Lol I usually do the pineapple method with a bonnet and yes it’s a must for me to refresh in the mornings . I usually add a leave in after !
your results are so pretty 😍! I want to do this myself but i’m really worried about stringy ends. The first time you did it did you do your whole head or just the roots?
Thank you! 😘 the first time I went down almost to the ends. The ends of my hair aren’t as tightly curled as my roots so I didn’t apply it directly on my ends for that reason
So I tried to the lax my hair before and it was a fail. I just wonder if the just for me kids is better than the olive oil perm? I hated the olive oil one, if I do decide to texlax again I’ll try one side with the just for me before I do a whole head. The only thing with texlaxing is I worry about hair dryness.
Here from your first texturizer video😊 when you do texturize how does your hair look the next morning? Do you just have to add water to define your curls?
Yes what you said is what I figured I see a lot of people hair putting it all over their hair instead of just the edges and roots not sure why they would do that but I just saw another video she applied it Just like you did and it came out the same way
Yes if someone’s hair comes out string it’s more than likely over processed.I will be recording a video tomorrow. It will be a Q & A of the most asked questions regarding texturing/Texlaxing! ✨
Why do people's say that. ' I'm using my hands because I don't want it completely straight" U can use your hands to get it completely straight. Using ones hand doesn't prevent it from getting straight. It isn't what you use i.e hands, back of comb, relaxer brush etc.... It's how much its smoothed n left on. If u smooth it to the point of straighteness, it'll get straight, if u don't , it will not. (A lot of youtubers have poodle hair because they smooth their roots too much (with their hands or whatever is used).
I’ve actually never seen that ! Thanks for pointing this out! But I did some research and it says drinking caffeine dehydrates your scalp and can cause irritation. Everything you put into your body comes back out through your hair, skin, and nails.
Sis, you need to just go ahead and relax your hair because it sounds like you want the long, straighter hair look. If you’re not going to be happy with your own natural hair or a texturized version…just do it. I’m natural, but it’s not for everyone. No judgment at all. When you feel pretty, you have more confidence, and you’re happier. Make yourself happy. 🙂
It’s not that serious sis, but I think I know what makes me happy lol. I’ve had plenty of things done to my hair including relaxers. Texturizing allows me to wear my hair curly without so much shrinkage & I straighten it whenever I want, which I hardly do. If I wanted straight hair I’d have just that. Thanks tho😆
@@LifewithQuanda No need to assume ill intent. Please, yes, do whatever makes you happy. Just found your video (enjoyed it) and it seemed like you were trying different looks & not always pleased with the outcome.
When retouching your hair use dax hair grease to keep from over processing your previously relaxed hair.

@@tyreegomez6060 yeah, only the hair that isn’t new growth, and only the new growth.
A QQ
Can I use vaseline?
@@MzAngiee28 yes you can
Its cute just try pure coconut oil when it dries for shine.. It melts in ur hand good. It will help bring out some more curls too.
It's pretty! the dry state at the end that you said you don't like was bomb, I love it that way 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you!😘

I’m going to look into that, thank you!
Your hair is beautiful. Thanks for the tips and product recommendations.
Cut the plant in half to get the gel then poke holes in it for more gel to come out.
nothing wrong with your hair in its curly state it looks beautiful
Thank you!
Fail where? Great result!, I will be telaxing soon!, New subbie! What's your night time routine with this look? Do you refresh in the morning?

Girl, many wish they had your hair-beautiful wear it out
Was your curl pattern before the texturizer
Here from your first texturizer video😊 when you do texturize how does your hair look the next morning? Do you just have to add water to define your curls?
Hey girl!😁👋🏽 & yes if I wear it in that state I at least add water and some type of leave in conditioner
bout to do it my damn self since my hair appointment got cancelled and i waited two months 😒
hahaha
What was your initial hair pattern?
Yes what you said is what I figured I see a lot of people hair putting it all over their hair instead of just the edges and roots not sure why they would do that but I just saw another video she applied it Just like you did and it came out the same way

Your hair looks really good dry, I wish mine looked like that.
Thank you! & it doesn’t always look this way

You can't compare your hands to a comb.
@@fk8395 Clearly, you aren't comprehending.
Good look.aloe very good
your hair came out so cute !! i am due for my first ever touch up in august & I’m nervous haha ! did you notice a lot of hair growth/new growth ?
Thank you!!! Let me know how yours goes! & I noticed a little! I can for sure tell my hair grew after straightening it!!
How much texturizers do you use?
Please, how can you differentiate new growth from already texturized hair when retouching??
From my experience my new growth is very frizzy & a tighter curl than my texturized hair
Okay,thanks!
What technique do you use to style you hair, coiling denim brush?
Definitely the denman or ez detangler brush
Wait so can you put it exactly on your scalp?
NO
Theblast time i had a texturizer i was 12 😅 im happy i did again
I bought texturizer by org olive oil & it said as a warning "don't drink coffee" do you know why ?
I’ve actually never seen that ! Thanks for pointing this out! But I did some research and it says drinking caffeine dehydrates your scalp and can cause irritation. Everything you put into your body comes back out through your hair, skin, and nails.
What happens if it gets wet
What type of hair did you have before hand, 4c?
I always say in my videos I’m truly confused on my previous hair type but I guess maybe 4b or 4a
What styles do you do in between texturizing your hair?
Either my hair is in a bun/ponytail or I wear wigs from time to time.
Does this damage your hair?
With any chemical, yes! It definitely can especially if you don’t take proper care of your hair afterwards!
Love the final look good job😍 new sebie👌🏾
Thank you!💕
I love your natural hair you should work more often👍🏽💯
Thank you!💕
@@LifewithQuanda welcome 😊
Your hair isn't 4c. 4c hair is very course and hard and so much shrinkage
I’ve stated multiple times I don’t really know what my hair texture is, thanks
So you’re saying it doesn’t look good? Lol smh
Oh so it's temporary and not permanent
Yes you have to retouch it since your hair keeps growing and it grows out with it
It's permanent. Your hair grows in and that is why you have to retouch it
It's permanent. It's only the new hair which isn't texturized hence the retouch
