The color que shampoo is not for colored hair lol. It’s just a neutralizing shampoo that has a color code indicator that lets you know whether or not the relaxer is all washed out or still on your hair. If the suds are pink in color that means there’s still relaxer in your hair so you would still need to shampoo it again until the suds from the shampoo on your hair turns completely white which indicates your hair has no more relaxer residue in it and you’re safe to move on to the next phase such as conditioning lol. You did good sis. God bless you.

Ive been natural all my life. I continue to be natural. I understand why alot of us is turning back to relaxers/texlaxing. Its your decision and your choice.
I have a positive outlook of my nautral hair. With paitence, perseverance, determination, you can wash and style within 1 hour to 1 hour 30mins. Styling doesnt take long for me either. I understand some of us are tired and feel natural hair is time consuming.
But if you put in the effort you would get results.
Wish you all the best on your relaxer/ texlax journey 😊

I was natural for years and did my hair regularly. But doing your hair (in my opinion) shouldn’t have to take perseverance and determination, like it’s hair not a life goal you’re trying to reach lol. I put in the effort and got great results and was still over it. My hair wasn’t unmanageable, I just wanted it to be easier.

We all have a goal in mind on what we want our hair to be. Ie. Whether you want longer length or concentrating on the health of the hair. Think whatever you decide it is your choice.
I wasn't making any negative comments about your choice of texlaxing your hair. I was only talking about the managebility of the hair- and how it doesn't have to take all day to wash and style. Guess in a way you can call me 'lazy natural'. Wish your continue success on your texlax journey 😊

We are always excited about the early end result after texturizing, but we don't think of the after effect of the texturizer on our hair.
When you texturize, after some months, your new hair starts to grow and then the texture of the undergrowth is different from the texturized hair and then to make it uniform, you go over to texturize again, you do this overtime because of the undergrowth and then it damages your natural hair.
What if you don't texturize the undergrowth? As you keep managing the undergrowth with the texturized hair, your texturized hair keeps falling off because of its than the undergrowth when combing.

Thank you so much for the compliment! Ms. Lola I don’t want to discourage you, but I personally don’t think you should use this for your daughter’s hair. For 1, she’s only 7 and this particular product isn’t for the kiddies. For 2, idk you or her but if she’s saying she wants her hair to like someone else’s, it’s because she’s not in love with hers. I think before you change her hair permanently, you should work on helping her love her hair as it grows from her scalp. She is BEAUTIFUL! Her hair is BEAUTIFUL! Managing her hair might be a little difficult, but it gets easier with time. She’s only 7, I think you should wait another year or 2 at the very least. I hope this helps!!! Your hand movements are nauseating. I don’t mean to be rude, but less is best.

Have you been cutting your hair over the 11 years I be so confused at the length of some of y’all hair I know that peoples hair grow at different rates but my hit would be to my butt or longer if I did not cut it the thickness of from my Nigerian side but by far my length comes from my Dominican mother side I think I’m going to use this in my daughters hair her dad is black and her curls are a little more tight we don’t use the N word for the hair in my family but my abuela would have called my baby’s hair nappy I think this will help cut down on how long it take to do her hair

I would suggest not putting this in a child’s hair, like, at all. Her hair needs patience and you need to learn how to manage her hair especially since it’s so different from yours. Her hair may be tangled if it’s not being cared for appropriately (not saying you’re not, I’m saying in general). But she may just have super tight coils. As far as my hair length, I’ve only been retaining my length for the last few years because it wasn’t healthy when I was younger. I started taking vitamins for my health and my hair started to retain its length.
