I’m trying to figure out how the people who disagree with this, ended up on this video lol. Anyway …. My daughter is turning nine in a couple of weeks and I’m thinking of softening her hair as well. The drama , the crying , it’s soooo much ! She’s been wearing braids for the last couple of years to avoid having to deal with it ….. But I am considering this to give her more versatile styles . Thank you for posting this ….. and shame on judgmental women for their comments !!!

Exactly. My daughter just turn 8 and wore braids since she could. Her hair is down her back when stretched because it grows like spirals out her scalp. I need to do this texturizer to be able to train her hair( cut her ends, even out her tips)because she wants to wear her curls out but it's just too thick. It will be knotted up b4 lunchtime is what I say to my baby who wants to do styles she likes, but can't be done.

I’ve been using the just for me texturizer on my daughter’s hair. This has been a complete life saver. She is very tender headed and cries when I simply part her hair with a comb lol. I’m able to do any style now with ease. Moms if you’re thinking about it just do it. It saves so much time and my daughter’s hair is down her back. If you know what you’re doing this will not break off the hair. After using this those tears be gone afterwards lol. Which is so worth it. Btw you’re doing a great job mom! Let’s uplift each other instead of talk down on someone when we don’t agree on a hair preference. You’re not the one personally having to deal with a crying child not wanting her hair done. Job well done mom! I love it ❤

I texturized my baby girl hair and I love it. Her hair is actually growing healthier. It was so broken off and brittle before. I did what I needed to do to reduce the pain of combing her hair. I keep her hair moisturized and I actually use hair grease and oil on her scalp. She LOVES getting new hairstyles now. My best friend is a hair stylist and her exact words were “ A lot of people went natural not knowing for some people you’ve got to get a texture release”. All it’s doing is softening the hair and opening the pores for moisture. Not to mention way less shrinkage. I legit left my baby girls texturizer on for five minutes and rinsed. Came out perfect 😍😍

@@missbcritiques9209 I would recommend trying to drench his hair in leave in conditioner before detangling to make sure it's not a lack of technique issue( like the amount of conditioner you're using should have make a white cast on his hair until the product absorbs). However if you really feel it's best just make sure you don't slack on keeping his hair moisturized and protein treat every 3 months. Chemical treatments cause our hair to dry out more than normal.

Hello, thank you for sharing your video. I did some research and learned a lot about these products. Just wanted to share some facts.
Children routinely exposed to these chemicals in Just for Me and other hair relaxers marketed to kids may face accelerated rates of ovarian cancer cell growth, which could also decrease ovarian function and increase pregnancy complications.
Reproductive Problems from Just for Me Hair Relaxer Chemicals
In addition to the link between hair relaxers and cancer, endocrine disrupting chemicals in perm kits can cause uterine fibroids and other reproductive dysfunction including:
    Infertility
    Endometriosis
    Ovarian Cysts
    Premature Ovarian Failure
    Preterm Delivery Risks
Early childhood exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals from hair relaxers like Just for Me can amplify a woman’s risk of later developing these reproductive problems, especially if they are introduced during critical development stages.
As children grow before going through puberty, their body heavily relies on a healthy balance of hormones for the formation and maturing of reproductive organs. These essential building-block phases shape the future health of their reproductive organs.
However, by exposing kids to hair relaxer chemicals during these pivotal developmental stages, children may begin to experience cell mutations and abnormalities that can change the course of a healthy growing reproductive system.

    • @lifewithsuzzyq2039

I think you can, if the hair is long, just don’t relax it anymore. Wear protect style and let it grow out.

*NO you cannot.* It is permanent!! As your hair grows of course the New hair coming in obviously won't have relaxer on it so it'll be natural only a few inches at the root. So as it continúes to grow inch by inch , as time (months n years) go by you'll have more NEW GROWTH. YOU'D HAVE TO CUT OFF THE RELAXED HAIR TO HAVE A HEAD OF NATURAL HAIR AGAIN. (Doesn't matter if your hair is long or not.. same principle applies. Not sure y she said "if your hair is long" .. )

You know how many looks and styles this child is going to have in a life time many we were all kids before and are now grown adults if in the future she doesn't want this look hair grows amd she can wear it however she wants let this mom live. It take a whole day just to come my daughter hair and her is down her back 4c and will be loosening my daughter curls as well. As long as I take care of her hair she'll be just fine. My daughter's 9 I dt tell her everything I'm putting in her hair so there fore wouldn't be teaching her to hate her hair. All she knows is her hair looks and feels nice after it's done and she's happy and that's all that matters!

People fry their insides and their skin every single day on purpose. Alittle example: acne medicine literally burns your skin off only if you use to much or leave on too long...but it's still used to make their life easier. Be mindful that you too do things that others hate but they respect you enough to keep it to themselves

I get it, I did it too. It ruined my daughters hair. We're all natural in our household now. The best investment is a good water filter for your shower and hair washing. It'll help improve the texture within the first few washes depending on the filter. I bought a much pricer one and it has helped tremendously with reducing the chemical content and water hardness.
