Cycling Ontario, Part 2: Lake Superior, the HILLS and Cyclists! | Cycling Across Canada, Ep. 24

In this video, I start my trip in Nipigon, Ontario, and ride into the big hills of Northeastern Ontario. The physical effort is considerable as the long and steep hills keep coming. I continue struggling with my leaky tent and the weather turns rainy and very foggy. Along this stretch of Highway 17, I bump into many cyclists, many of whom are part of the Tour du Canada group. Meeting cyclists always lifts my mood as I struggle with low morale through this stretch. The long distances, lack of human contact, lack of rest stops, and sheer physical effort all contribute to my mental exhaustion. I end this episode on my arrival in Sault Ste. Marie.
