Another awesome video Agnieszka! It brought back sweet memories of visiting our eldest when they were going to Laval and we were in Cobourg. We stayed in the Parc National Oka! You really did a great job highlighting how Quebec is hands down Canada's most cycling/ cyclist friendly province! It puts Ontario to shame eh? It helps that the province's minister of tourism was a cyclist. Just look at how you are respected as a road user by Quebec people driving cars! Look at how many groups of cyclists there are in this footage! Steller experience and thanks for taking us along!

Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience in the province. The Oka National Park was beautiful. I rode through as I was leaving and the natural beauty was overwhelmingly beautiful. And yes, Quebec as a province has a really stepped up with their cycling infrastructure and it shows in driver behaviour as well. Because infrastructure itself is not enough, behavioural changes are much more difficult to address, but they're doing both well! Yes, Ontario could learn LOTS from its neighbour.

probably my favorite video in this series. everything in Quebec was so beautiful and picturesque. and I was really impressed with driver behaviour. they gave cyclists lots of room, even going almost into the opposite shoulder at times.

Road 138 is indeed a nice place to ride a bike as most of the heavy traffic drive on highway 40 which runs parallel just a few hundred meters away. Same for the south shore with the road 132 and highway 20.

@@boohurns4080 Thank you for adding this. You are 100% right. I did show the highway in one of the first edits, but ended up taking this info out in the final version of the video.

Ya know, sometimes I think about asking you to stop posting your trip haha! It takes me back to last summer every single time I watch a video and all I do is wish I was back there! It's always fun to see the route you took but I think I enjoy it more when our trails connected and I recognize places. We also took La Route Verte 8 out of Riviere-du-Loup but powered all the way to Edmundston. We headed straight back to the highway at the border though, we had a lot of ground to make and needed the fastest route and still and didn't get to camp until 8:30 that night thanks to losing the hour at the border! Quebec was also where we managed our first and only century ride, 168km from Camping Anne-Marie Labrie to Camping municipal Parc de l'ïle de Leclercville! We rode through so much beautiful farmland and were rewarded with some glorious tailwind that day. I wanted 200km so bad but settled for 168km!! I should tell you about my next big trip idea someday, it might interest you! At least part of it! 🤣

Two more to go (and maybe one big one after that, and that'll be a wrap). I know how you feel, as going through the footage takes me right back and I, too, wish I were still riding.
I agree! It's fun seeing others ride the same routes as you, when I felt lonely on the road, I thought about all the other cyclists who had ridden the roads I was rolling through and it made a difference.
You and your niece rode huge days! I still don't know how you did that, physically speaking, I would've gotten injured.
Tell me about your big trip idea! I am interested in hearing about what you're planning.

This is so good...love your narration skills and St Louis Du haha....hilarious. great job and I also have a hard time continuing on my way when I see beautiful things and I even take a nap, like the time I stoped at the John Day River in Oregon, made lunch, took a nap and wake up to a family of foxes on the other side of the river wanting the rest of my bread, which I gave and they followed me for about a two miles. Great energy and love to hear all your hellos to others. cheers and be well.
