I haven't watched the video yet, but based on the title and your comment, I think it would be really cool to see these bike campers in action! As someone who loves outdoor camping and quality family time, I always look for gear that enhances the experience. By the way, have you heard of Segway's Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It seems like a great option for outdoor enthusiasts and RV lovers who need reliable power on-the-go. Their massive capacity and fast recharging capabilities caught my attention. It could be a handy addition to any camping trip!
Mine will be my favorite. The large one with two peddlers is cool but I'm thinking of horizontal cylinder with a nose cone and a fold-out solar array that stows on the underside and powers a 48-volt home system which disconnects half of the battery bank and allows that group to be connected in series for powering the bike with 96 volts to allow for smaller wires. When it's time to charge them, the batteries will be split to 48 volts and will replace the connected set until the voltages are matched and can be joined back together. Sounds far more complicated than it is but for the size and weight, the voltage is necessary to get enough power into play for the torque that's needed to get up to cruising speed. It'll be towed behind a recumbent trike but the inertia will require that it not be a tadpole trike so the trike can dictate the path rather than the weight of the trailer..
I didn't get the point of the tent. Instead of pulling that flat trailer for just a tiny tent, pull a storage bin and put in a larger tent and other camping supplies.
I thought this way, too ! I was just telling my girlfriend, how the last one looked like an old covered wagon. She told me about this video, so I watched the entire thing. :) This definitely fits into the category of "Virtual Traveler", and I'm planing to share this with some like-minded friends.
Some of these would actually be perfect for those who are struggling and just need a place to live short term while they get themselves back on their feet. Modify some of these with water storage and a purifier and a lot of homeless people trying to get back on their feet would have an easier time.
Yes ! - some of these would make great little shelters for the homeless, although keeping warm could be a struggle. I would think one needs to pack a battery pack and a heated sleeping bag (found on Amazon), to be comfortable and safe while outdoors. Still, there's a number of different approaches that would also work. :) Perhaps the Velocamper could be a good candidate for modification, as it's quite roomy, and still seems to be possible to take it along with a bike.
@@kumbah2006 Absolutely! It's wild how we've moved in the direction of small, potentially mobile living spaces as the norm, but no one has thought to use these to help the homeless? What I wouldn't give to be needlessly wealthy...I'd be making little communities for the homeless that works as both a safe living space and a means of building one's self back up.
The last one has so much potential. I've been thinking about how big one of these can be to be human powered. Of course, with an electric motor but regulations and all. Fortunately, here in Florida what makes a bike a bike are pedals and a seat at least 26" of the ground. There are no width restrictions unless riding in the bike lane. A pedal mobile can technically be constructed. Of course, don't build it wider than a standard automobile lane.
I'm in New Jersey, and we have a HUMAN POWERED mini cab over and semi trailer combo that weighs over 10,000 pounds. It goes about 40MPH and the trailer is self contained. The biggest problem is what people believe is possible. As for regulations, Non-Motorized Vehicles have a legal right to travel, and there are no restrictions prohibiting them from being on the road. 🍷🍷😎

@@adventurousloner our trikes are human powered flywheel systems, which do much better than fossil fuel engines and electric motors. This has been the best kept secret from the public! If people only knew how easy it is to make propulsion, most wouldn't waste all their money on automobiles, especially today's cars. 🍷🍷😎
@@skytoll1 Completely agree. I'm building my own (pedal-mobile/velomobile/ebike/any other term) now. It'll be my first but not the last. But, I'm definitely researching flywheels immediately.
That family camper is something out of this world that's for sure . But I'd love to have one for my 4 grandchildren who are mid way teens . Awesome video and thank you for sharing 🇺🇲🙏😇🙌👍
I feel like a tent on the back of a truck would be a better and cheaper option than many of these designs. Also not as easy to steal. They are interesting though.
Love the phenomenal road warrior and, of course, the famous Nico Jungel! Amazing innovative content! Please do more home inspired videos and mobile homes!
The last one. It seems unfinished, but the wire frame in the front adds an extra layer of protection. It would be nice if it is screened in and the back closed in. Being out in the woods and on back roads on a bike makes you vulnerable enough, but having that wire frame that they could possibly screen in helps protect them even more.

I've seen a few new-generation car campers that can extend into the small bungalows. Since I'm planning to travel with my BF and we want to sleep together, I would like to see that technology implemented in bike campers as well.
There was only 2 of these that sparked my curiosity the rest needs work. Any of the trailers need hook up points for external electric and also like a trap rain fly than bug screen.
I don't know. I have a tent that when folded only measures 17 inches and when unfold has the capacity for up to two people comfortably or three. It only weighs 5 pounds including a self inflatable mattress.
These are awesome and you've presented them and the info well. Though, I thought a bike was a bike. Seems my bike takes my family, powered by a petrol engine.
Can they provide protection from lightning and it's explosive sound? I love bicycles but I have to resort to cars due to survive lightning and extreme weather.
I like the Velocamper. I just wish their website could be translated to other languages, like English! I wanted to know how much it cost to purchase it?
Let us know what you think, along with which of these bicycle campers is your favourite!?
I think a compact 3-4 man tent for $50 bucks is superior
I like the one that can only be towed by a car, it really fits into this category.

The pop up tent camper seems the most practical affordable choice. But my guy with the boat/bike/camper stole the show

Seemed kind of pointless. It would be easier to just pack a tent and sleeping mat, in a storage basket on the back of the bike.
... This is about bike campers but the "Road Warrior" was clearly not a bike camper.... It was literally just a normal tow behind camper. 🧐
Yeah, wtf
I like the last one, because the exterior and the interior are the apples of everyones' eyes
Good luck getting these bike campers allowed in Canada.

You can't pitch a tent everywhere
Yea
Youd get it if you were into wild camping. Especially if you have had to make a swift escape in the middle of the night....
The Australian one is a car camper, not a bike one
It can also be pulled by motorbike and it is also a micro mobile home, Thank you very much for your comment :)
But not a push bike. Oh well
It can be used by motorcycle so technically still a "bike" camper he didn't title it bicycle
Yes
Wow I thought that was a bike
Some interesting designs there. I would definitely opt for the electric power assist ones, otherwise one would need to be a very durable peddler LOL.
