- Welcome back to some more Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Today I have some more gameplay for you from my last play session. I'm still pretty early into the game but I've unlocked a good amount of skills at this point. The combat seems to be opening up nicely & I'm enjoying the story so far. Once they fix PC performance I couldn’t recommend it enough. Even at 20 FPS this is one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played in a long time.

@@dequasont1063 unsure, It just sounds like the pc ports they have don't really do well until they patch them for windows.
I did not expect the blaster stance to be that fun
The combat looks much more satisfying and cleaner than the first game!

I’ve been playing this game on PS5 on quality mode and I’ve had no issues so far with performance or bugs. I’m really enjoying it
i think the issues are with the PC port

@@mrlenny7252 In performance mode you get a variable 45 fps what feels like 720p and a shit ton of screen tearing. So, yea. I run it in Quality mode as well. 30 fps aside the game is a lot of fun.
I get 60 fps no drops on my Xbox series x so I really enjoy it too

I’ve noticed a bug where no blaster bolt will be shown when firing the pistol. It’ll shoot invisible bolts and only show the impact and not the blaster bolt itself leaving the barrel
Nah its not a bug Cal just switched to some good ol .45 ACP 😂

That was a really fucking sweet opening, it's insane that not only did a recent sequel actually improve upon most of the mechanics in the first game, but that game was made by ea. I thought I was just going to wait 9 months for it to come to gamepass but I might get it sooner

first game was a souls clone
now its a proper Stylish fighter.
I wouldn't say souls clone, The first game has things said titles don't offer. Skill locked word progression, jumping (Sekiro and Elden ring notwithstanding), a liner story alongside environmental story telling, a skill tree which actively impacts gameplay, purely cosmetic outfits and weapon customization, better hitboxes (Sekiro notwithstanding), puzzles and dungeons, intentional cross faction fighting, and built in challenge rooms.
Mechanically SW-JS improves mechanically, but in all reality SW-JFO was just inspired not a clone.
Is it possible to have other characters come and fight with u like I had seen in some finishers and other gameplay or is that only in the story

Damn it looks great. You know what be more badass... is if you can actually activate the takedowns like RYSE: SON OF ROME and do like a double or even triple takedown with jedi acrobatics. That would be 🤌
Are the keyboard and mouse controls good?
When i use force pull on an enemy and they float in the air i wanna either force crush them or force choke (honerable mention would be force life steal)

Does anyone know if there is a way to just have a normal lightsaber like in the first 1 cause all I have seen is the double and the dual wielding lightsaber

Do you only get one companion at a time? Also, how many different companions have you come across already?
So far only one at a time. I've had two different ones so far.

I mean this is only an issue on PC and some of the lower spec consoles, yet I do agree.... Mainly because I think $70-90 for a game is criminal and will not be supporting rampant price increases (especially on EA titles) will like any sensible person be waiting for a sale or for it to appear on a subscription based service.

@@thusla-_-1757 You are comparing 2 different kinds of combat. This is more souls-like combat which has NO combos, while DMC does have alot of combos since it's more fastpaced.

What do you mean people are getting their arms cut off almost all the time
I mean iirc there is actual human dismemberment in the game now (very limited not any any degree the same level as the Katarn run) but still while immersion detracting the game is good for it's game play and story. Just because some people like certain aspects of a game or like it overall doesn't mean they can't share your same sentiments.
At least Cal feels like a Jedi when using the force. Afterall how many games, movies and TV shows do we have to go though to get the point across that the saber doesn't make the Jedi. (Still really would have liked for SW-1313 not to have been concealed because a single player shooter sounds awesome but whatever)
