I found the blaster charged shot is the most OP thing in the game against bosses because it stuns them no matter what which gives you time to do 2 quick slashes and immediately charge again. This way you can stun lock almost anything. Very good against Ogdo.
Blaster stance is just stupid in general. You can "parry" while blocking using Point Blank. And it's final 2 upgrades are actually downgrades, if you ask me.
I swear every time I watch a video I think I’ve been everywhere possible in this game and always see rooms I’ve never seen. I love this game. A lot of replay ability I love it
Fortitude + Ambidexterity + Marksmanship is perfect for me because the Blaster Stance is my favorite because it is really cool and you can parry and shoot AT THE SAME TIME
Throw in the new game plus perk that does the same as fortitude on top of this and the blaster wipes both ogdo bosses fast. Especially since the blaster charge shot staggers there attacks.
I kinda like flux being able to go in a battle and not caring about recharging the force meter was refreshing you can actually use the environment to kill the ennemies
So I only found 1 good XP FARM at derelict dam. Its important to note, I noticed that killing the same enemy repeatedly would not give much xp but if you kill a few the couple of bedlam raiders and the b2 droid then kill the catapillar thing go over and lead the big hammer guy to the edge power lift him and push him off. Gives like half a bar in xp for his kill alone with wisdom even in late game😮
The healing knockback and the heal on activating the ultimate are nice, I use them with shatter and the block increase. I main crossguard so I already have a ton of damage with great defence and I’m now NJ+ on Jedi master with like 30 spare skill points so none of the xp ones are useful.
flux is very good, especially against the more dangerous encounters on the hardest difficulty where getting in melee hits are too risky; like against 2 rancors, 2 frogs, or the 3 legendary beasts. lightsaber throw dmg + flux makes the two frogs too easy.
Imo the best early perk (for specific bosses and encounters) is the flux perk. It allows killing the rancor without taking any damage and without the hassle of jumping up and down all the time. All other encounters where you can get the highground you can finish without any risk at all.
*edit - to save the replies, yep we know about the new game plus perks and they are awesome* These games are fun but they need to have a proper damage mode where lightsaber is basically a 1 hit kill, like the old jedi knight games from back in the day
@@KingZedusPrime2009TyrentKaiju this the problem with the gaming community. one guy complaining that you can't 1-shot enemies, one guy complaining that you can
Honestly for the persistence mod I kinda think it should get a buff for mid to late game so it doesn't heal a small amount with it being number based but percentage based so it heal up to 5%-10% per kill. I wouldn't go too much higher than 10% so it doesn't become needed for survival but is just helpful for those moments when you are surrounded and low on health. Than that way it would help more than it does now for longer and isn't so powerful that it becomes a must have perk for late game.
I’m not sold on Blaster stance. Honestly, I’m not sold on dual wielding stance, either. In my eyes, the best stances are Crossguard and Double-Bladed. Crossguard stance is basically goated when you’re fighting a single enemy or very small groups, since you do so much stamina damage with it and your individual strikes are so much stronger than the other stances. Your single hit damage and first burst of damage is so important when you’re tackling harder targets, and the other three stances don’t really provide a good answer for this. The biggest problem with the blaster stance is that the close range performance is too poor to rely on, especially when compared with something like the dual-bladed stance, which can effectively fight 90% of ranged enemies thanks to the chain parrying and up close it does big damage in the first second. Then, for groups, the dual-bladed stance is unmatched.
I agree with most of what you said here but blaster is freaking bonkers at close range with the right perk setup. The thing is that you have to alternate between the saber and blaster to maximize its close range effectiveness. It really, really opens up when you get more force powers to compliment it and learn the timing for the blaster parry. There's really not many enemies that can deal with the amount of block damage that it does. I would encourage spending some more time with it but maybe it just wasn't your thing, which is totally cool. I hated blaster at first and now it's my favorite after playing through the game a couple times. The nice thing is that all of the stances are viable and the devs did a great job of balancing them. Some may be more effective than others in certain situations but I also never felt like I was at a major disadvantage with any of them.
For that push exp farm if you don't hit the creature for some damage before you shove him you get a fraction of the exp than you would for a regular kill.
Question: Do you mind trying equilibrium with the Dual blade sabre stance upgraded force throw? I wonder if the equilibrium buff lasts the whole throw🤔
Best xp farm is at the raiders camp on the main world, it’s at the place you fight spawn if oggdo. Just five pull the two big hammer guys off from the top to the ground level and they’ll dies instantly
I have lost the ability to RB+A and RB+Y which up and down on my xbox. I know it’s a glitch but I don’t want to start the game over again. What do you think?
I’m on grandmaster and I don’t really notice the difference in damage taken tbh. Plus some bosses are gonna one shot you anyways so may as well take the bonus damage atp
Even playing on Grandmaster + Purity, the extra received damage from fortitude is mostly negligible. The damage bonus is also pretty negligible compared to purity though.
Does anyone know what the white painted symbols on the walls are that are scattered all over? One looks like a square cross hair, and a few others are like fingerpainted looking around the game, I haven't found any info about them anywhere. 😑
Did you notice double hold X, Square? Do the hold X or square combo. Let it hit then Hold again. It adds on more moves to the hold combo. So it's Hold, release to hit, Hold release.
I feel like im one of the only people out there that absolutely loves the standard single blade stance to the point where i pretty much couldnt use any other stance besides single blade and crossguard, i played on the hardest difficulty and single blade+crossguard past the 50-60% of the game just completely trivialised the game for me, the mobility on single blade is insane and completely makes up for crossguards slugishness, the cornerstones of my build were the more damage on stance switch and force ability usage, i would usually switch to single blade, force push parry into jump block attack then quickly press the special attack button for an insanely quick and immensely powerful combo and then switch to crossguard for another few attacks and for blocking/parrying then repeat, literally made every boss so easy, mix in a bunch of force abilities and it just made everything so easy.
i hate the new ranged parry sistem, it auto parries and lockes you in the animation, slowing you down. In fallen order it was better (if you didn't chose the autoreflect while running skill).
