Stances based on characters from Star Wars media. Single blade standard hilt Jedi and sith, Double blade like darth maul Jedi temple guard and savage oppress, Dual wield like Ahsoka Tano, cross guard like Kylo Ren but cross guard hilt much heavier and slower, and blaster stance like Din Mando Djarin with the darksaber and and his Ib-94 blaster pistol
I wouldn't consider the Counterattacks Finishers

It's my absolute favourite kill animation. They're all pretty sick though, I love how Cal has gotten both more skilled and more brutal.
That lightsaber to the throat at 0:44 gets me every time.

2:08 is my favorite finisher by far. The way he spikes both sabers into the guy's lungs is just crazy
1:13 I like this one because to me it looks like cal is beautifully flourishing throughout the attack
I love 0:45. Something so raw about him crawling onto a stormtrooper and impaling his throat all the way through
For some reason..I kinda like the crossguard executions because of the elegant yet brutal strikes it has. Also its executions kinda resembles that from the warden class from the game for honor.

I actually like that they decided to turn the crossguard saber literally into a greatsword instead of being a normal lightsaber, I think you can see some HEMA elements involved with the stance and finishers too.

These are the basic finishes from the 5 lightsaber stances: Single, Dual Blade, Dual Wield, Crossguard, and Blaster. Will upload all the Creature and Droid takedowns at a later time, its a big game and I wanna make sure I get them all.

If you're still working on it, there's one Dark Side finisher, it triggers if you force pull and hit your saber attack button on a KX Droid / Super Battle droid (Maybe a BX Droid, but can't remember) it's pretty unique

2:35 is probably my favorite.
It's the pommel strike that makes it good for me.
The hilt bash is just a satisfying change of pace for lightsaber combat. Just seeing that as a new thing in general along with the fact it’s a heavy saber just fits.

@@user-rv7kk1to9h Crossguards have been featured outside the Sequels in The High Republic era Avar Kriss & Stellan Grios use them but by the time The Acolyte they weren't in use as often.
Cross guard looks sick for me! They probably followed real-life medieval stances and that's why the moves look so practical and dignified.

I don’t know why people talk bad about the cross guard saber. It’s my favorite! And I can take down large groups of enemies while also breaking down large enemies easily. It also helped me finally defeat the mighty Rancor! Oggdo is next….

Unpopular opinion, but 0:22 is in my opinion the best by far. Such a clean animation, one movement no stops, fast, effektiv and badass. Insane

@@hamzairshad9889That incorrect. They have weight, otherwise they couldn't be used as a sword. Just an overpowered flashlight. Hell even the Mandolorian said the Dark saber was heavier than he thought.
Crossguard is my favourite. Sure, a bit slow, but defense is very strong and blows are insanely powerful. You just need to time them right instead of pressing one button like a lab rat.
Cal Kestis looks much more aggressive and skillful now, I missed that in games.
Kinda wish they’d do the Maul finisher on the dual-bladed. That’d be a neat callback.

Love the double bladed staff. It was my main from the start. I took down rancor and the son of ogdo on jedi master with it.
Really miss the Anakin style heavy overhand swing. And the leaping overhead swing.
All these finishers are amazing, but the Crossguard definitely has the highest quality overall, imo. The best for me is either the dual sabers throw or the first double bladed finisher.

How does the trooper get dragged down by a lightsaber? He should lose a chunk of his body, not fall to the ground.
Call didn’t use the blade in a slicing motion if you look carefully
Maybe he used the handle to push while he dragged him down
The blade cuts through if motion is applied.

I REALLY wished they added features that incorporated the crossguard vents used offensively. Kylo ren used it 2 times beautifully (saber lock with finn and vent takedown in the beginning of episode 9 )

There is one more finisher for blaster stance: if you use force attack (triangle on PS controller) instead of basic attack (square on PS controller), you take out the enemy with a charged blaster shot (similar animation as the "blaster parry")

I got a double bladed execution that wasnt shiwn here where cal throws the saber it through them, holds for a second then pulls it back through again. (It wasnt the saber throw as i didnt even know i could do that yet, and looked very different from that skill, plus it was right after a parry).

I’m not really sure how to do these finishing moves on purpose. They seem to happen at random. I’m aware of the red circle appearing but most of the time Cal just does a normal attack with the next click of the attack button. Any tips?
Pretty much just a matter of parrying a low health enemy until they're out of stamina, then hitting the attack button.
Or you could attack an enemy until they're out of stamina, wait half a second, then hit the attack button again, but that one is more inconsistent.
Those FPS are a finisher in themselves, that's for sure. Game looks great though.
For blaster stances finisher and takedown, Cal is not the only person who uses sword and gun on the battlefield, there is also another two swordsman character who also uses a gun in anime
The first person who I would like to introduces is Genya Shinazugawa from Demon Slayer, he using a wakizashi and double barrel shotgun during the third season of Demon Slayer and the upcoming season based on the manga with the same name
The second person who I would like to introduces is Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki using Wesson and Smith revolver from Touken Ranbu, a Japanese online game developed by DMM Games and Nitroplus that features the Japanese swords depicted as attractive young men
Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki is a human form of a katana that wielded by Sakamoto Ryoma and Ryoma is a samurai who took down the Tokugawa Shogunate during Boshin War or specifically in 1868 to 1869 in Japan
