tbh, the blaster stance, much like any other stances when you do take the time to know the mechanics of the stance, is actually ALMOST broken. Just the point blank skill alone makes this stance very lethal against most enemies. Not only that, I discovered that you can actually parry a ranged shot with a follow up 'point blank' ranged shot. It might seemed crazy, but I actually accidentally pressed the blaster button after deflecting a few shots and it made the point blank animation, but shot out a quick charged shot back at the ranged unit that shot me. Crazy to believe, but its doable. Also, energized flurry is best used after you stun your opponent through either force powers or point blanking to regain your shots back faster for more point blank shenanigans.
What i like is how the game becomes Bloodborne with this stance. Equip with Cross or Doubleblade and you have a morphing weapon. I personally pair it with double for the defence

Great guide! I’ve been looking to use a double-bladed and blaster stance combo (double-bladed for AoE/crowd control and blaster for long ranged combat), so this helped a lot! Thanks, man!
I play Blaster and Crossguard.
Blaster for point blank parries, paralyzing shots and power shots for controlling crowds, or interrupting boss unblockable skills respectively (like Oggdo Bogdo tongue instant kill - faster and longer range than charged force push), and Crossguard for countering shots and hammering slower enemies into the ground.
You can also charge your shot while swinging the lightsaber, weaving a paralyzing, or a power shot into your sword combo.
Super well done. You did a great job explaining this stance to someone who has not experimented with it much.

In regards to improved clip instead being improved magazine: Kinda torn on this one, considering what blasters actually fire is an accelerated/agitated gas mixture so it's really more like "improved tank".

I like the blaster stance for taking down jetpack enemies, but that's pretty much it.

i honestly got so into the blaster stance that its weaknesses are kinda useless now, mind you i just went Crossguard/ Blaster may be very unorthodox, but 2 best ranged weapons, gotta take it

I must admit when I first herd about using jedi using a blaster in game was like using pages of any holy book to roll a joint 😂 but after I got done fighting 4 droids and 3 guards with staffs..it's warranted imo but it's yet to be seen if the hype around this stance is also warranted...but thank you DTG this video was very insightful and I believe I now know where I'll be investing my skill points for a while...MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU MY FELLOW JEDI.

The blaster stance is vastly over rated. A lot of people say its the best, but that has certainly not been my experience.

By far the best stance is the game for most scenarios with the right perks (marksmanship and dexterity). Shoot, stab repeat.
I like it because it has a better rhythm than most stances, and it's actually easy to practice IRL in an enclosed space.
It’s my favorite stance, easily. Love charging the pistol while still attacking, wait till they block me, then boom, charge shot to the face.

so dwho you have to go to a meditation place everytime i want to swap my stance?? why didnt they add a scroll wheel or something feel like instead of making it so i can change my clothing anywhere i could change my stance anywhere definitely weird

The blaster is better then cross gaurd it’s way to slow the blaster is my favorite beside the dual wild usually u seen people with dual wild and blaster cuz their both just so fast try using the purity perk in new game plus u can literally kill anything on shot

@@steveo0127the only skills you need to even understand the cross guard are spacing and pacing (don’t mind about the word pun), at that point the cross guard is pure excellence in duel situation. I’ve beaten the 2 Rancors on GM difficulty by only using the cross guard
