When I see the massive droid excecutions I keep wondering why there arent any scorch marks where they were cut only to then remember that the game wasnt finished
I just wish that every stance that was on the same light saber was accessible when you equip it. Single blade, double sided, and dual wield all come from the same base saber hilt. The cross guard is the only stance from a different handle.
Default Saber: Mid mode. Staff Saber: Dual of the Fates mode. Great Saber: Vader mode. Gun and Fencing Saber: Flawless mode. Dual Sabers: "YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME?!?!"
I just hope in third one, they will adapt DMC combat style more along with combo rank. the potential was already there. just allow us to be able to change stances mid combat. and I mean all of it at once!
Don't think that will happen. I can see the combat getting smoother and the stances getting even more upgrades, but it will imo never get to the same style as DMC
While that's a neat idea, the combo rank system of dmc I feel wouldn't really transfer well with the combat of survivor, combo systems work for games where you can juggle opponents, this game while granted far more fast paced and diverse than the first still has a souls-like combat/parry system

unfortunately they removed moves that transition into a different stance like the previous game, but u can still switch manually inbetween attacking so its still possible
Sadly no, hoping that's something they implement in the 3rd game as admittedly I ended up switching stances far less throughout the game as there were no smooth transitions between attacks, it's very much possible too just look at nier automata which had like 5 combat styles which all had smooth transitions between weapons

i think the double bladed and dual wield cos they work well as double bladed is rly good for fighting multiple at once but then if you need to focus on a individual enemy, you then can switch to dual wield to apply fast pressure. And i agree, both the colours look rly cool, i usually use orange more as it goes well with alot of the outfits especially the Exile jacket. But ig thats all js personal preference

blaster stance needs a finisher where he uses the force to float his gun around blasting away while also attacking with the saber.
