In this video I explain how to get your Kenmore, Whirlpool or Maytag washing machine in diagnostic mode to retrieve your fault codes and recalibrate your computer. You can also use it to test each individual electrical part such as motor, pump, actuator, hot and cold valve etc. etc.. There are many models that this video covers. Any machine that has the 6 lights under the timer would be the same style machine with interchangeable parts.

I did the recalibration but my washer still don’t want to spin cycle to get rid of excess water.
Sounds like you need a pump.

@@MissouriAgitater it actually does spins but only load.
If you put another load when comes to the spin time it won’t go, sounds like is trying but it doesn’t.
@@adanarceo4636 does the water pump out? The water should pump out before it goes into spin. If not the pump is bad. The pumps are notorious for the internal seals being bad, It will run great until water fills the motor windings of the pump motor, then when they quit pumping the washer won't advance into spin because the computer knows there is still water in the machine.
@@MissouriAgitater that’s the thing it drains the water and when it try to spin it just spins a little and slow and then stops.

I have a Kenmore he 11021302011. At first it wouldn't drain or spin . I did the calibration and got codes F81 & sensing light. Now I can't get it to do anything. So frustrating.
Well done wish I would seen this earlier! My question is how to verify that yur actuator is good or bad I bought a new one that as bad which lead to a lot unnecessary tasks that could have been avoided if I could have verify the part???
Any idea why kenmore series 500 washer gets stuck in the rinse cycle? Not every time but randomly it will rinse the drain and fill then drain when it’s set to 1 rinse it will keep doing it until cancelled. A few times I’ve seen it do the rinse cycle tub is 1/2 full then it will stop and keep filling till it’s full then once it hits the full level it drains and will keep repeating. Thanks in advance!
Sounds like the computer is getting confused and pushing itself into Sense mode. Recalibrating the unit could solve the issue. If not you might need to replace the main board.
@@MissouriAgitater thank you for your reply I’ll give it a try. Unfortunately, it’s out of warranty I bought it in 2020 used it for 2 mo then it went into storage since I was moving, new house had a washer but recently broke and brought this one out. Hopefully 🤞 I can get it recalibrated. Thanks again!
@@ashdupre wow!! That's an awful new machine with low hours 🤔 Is there anyway maybe a mouse could have chewed a wire while it was in storage? That would also make the computer get confused..
@@MissouriAgitater No, clue but I’m gonna see about getting some to open it up and check it out. I was able to do the recalibration it will do a cycle or two then gets stuck on rinse filling and dumping. Thank you so much for your help once I get this figured out I’ll give you an update!
how do I start washing ?
Unplug the machine for 20 seconds.. plug it back in, raise and shut the lid. Select what wash option you want and push the start button.
