The best part of this UA-cam channel is he do not hurry to finish and upload videos. We get to see the end results also. Really appreciable Sir. Thanks a lot.
This is the reason why I appreciate the dieffenbachia plant so much. So easy to propagate and a fast grower at the same time. Not to mention the beauty of its leaves. Thanks for sharing.
Es muy bonita esta planta pero a la vez es muy tóxica, tengan mucho cuidado al manipularla, ya ha habido varios que se intoxican investiguen en gogle saludos
Had a fallen/broken stem this morning and this video was exactly what I was looking for to find out how to save the (top of the) plant in the best way, and in the meantime I learnt how to propagate it! I'm really looking forward to see if it succeeds!
@@RanasMuslimStyles у меня такое было, упал стебель, я с резала по длиньше с листьями верхушку и поставила в воду, желательно длинную бутылку высокую не широкую. The plants have grown beautifully from the cuttings. Your videos are always simple, nicely explained and straight to the point. Thank you for sharing useful information on gardening.
Thank you for clear straight forward video..and not stretching it unnecessarily. You have shown how simple it is. Without using compost, perlite etc etc, what others show. All your videos are good.Thats how it should be..
Surja, thank you so much for your explanation. I have a dumb cane which is so elongated. It has 2 feet of bare stem and is hanging over, ready to break. I wasn't sure if air layering was the way to go. Your demonstration was great. I'll probably be able to get several new plants and not kill the top portion with the leaves. Thank you so much!
It's so satisfying to cut them into pcs and then plant them in different positions! Such a very easy plant to grow. Love the leaf patterns! Great video!
Very enlightening! My houseplant duieffenbachia almost reached the ceiling, I circled the stems around the tree and back into the soil creating new fullness and growth. The stem roots keep popping up and the tree leaning with heavy leaves everywhere. This bushy plant is being held with bark and coconut stakes. I really didn't want to create more little plants everywhere, but its a great give away idea. Thanks for the video.
Thank you from the US!! This is such a clear and well defined guide to propagating Dieffenbachia. I have a plant at home and did not know much about it and this really helped me to understand which way the new plants grow from the stem cuttings!
Very informative, thank you! I have a dieffenbachia I inherited from my mon. It's 4 stalks are about 5' tall, with leaves only at the very tops. I am gong to cut one stalk and propagate it the way you have shown here. I hope to get dozens of baby dieffenbachias. Of the numerous videos I have watched on the subject, yours was the clearest and easiest to understand. I also like that you showed that laying the stalks either vertical or horizontal works just as well. You got a new subscriber for this one!
@@GardeningismyPassion In lockdown I bought many of these plants to make my house nicer. One is getting really big :D You explain very clearly and I am confident I can make more little plants!
I tried it today with my dieffenbachia plant. Once my hand touched the tree sap, it gets really really itchy. I read some articles about it and found out that the tree sap is toxic/piosonous. When I saw your video, seems like you don't have any problem with it (not itchy?). I love this video of yours. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for sharing. I need to cut my plants because they are getting a little leggy. the last time it was done a friend of mine who is a Master Gardener came to visit and did a big chop. I cried for a couple of days until I saw them root. We used water to root them. I believe I will try your method this time. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 that I have the same results as you.
I wanted to let you know that I followed your tips and I grew 18/20 cuttings from one big cutting! It worked so well!! Thank you!
So nice of you🌹
👍
Thanks for sharing that, I will try that for sure
