If I were to recommend any records in specific, Seasons of Sickness by Cancerslug. If you like old Misfits, back when they had Danzig, then you'll love Cancerslug. Seasons of Sickness is one of those records where every track is a banger.
I had to pause near the beginning to check out that False Truce album, and it was great! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can locate a cassette up here in Van, but the digital copy off of Bandcamp will have to do for now. 🤞

You might like Scoopy Don't (Billy D4 old band), Butcher's Union ( Paddy D4 and Billy D4) , Kung Fools. I should know more off-hand. Check out Bad Idea (Tim Kelly from Kung Fools, and I Forget what other band the singer was in, but its sound is close to the Paddy band Cleveland death).

Sorry, I worked at Triple Rock for 7 years ( D4 Eric Funk's bar Plus been in the scene since a kid). I know of a lot can't think of them all right now.
I have one of Scooby Don't demos still. Last time I saw them they were busy sound proofing the basement of the house they were renting in Minneapolis for shows sometime in the 90s. Haven't seen any of them years, except when I ran into Matt where he was working at a cafe in Ashland WI when I was up north vacationing with my girlfriend.
@@thepunkrockreview i actually went back and did a quick skim of sam town and its not as boring as i remembered. i liked hot fuss and day and age more. after that i lost interest in them. sams town has a handful of good songs though and when you were young is one of my favs by them.
Check out The Steady 45's (from Los Angeles), Le Birrette (from Italy), The Bandulus (from Portland), 8°6 Crew (from France), Vieja Skina (from Peru), Travelers All Stars (from Mexico...actually they play skinhead reggae), The Upsttemians (from Spain), Smooth Beans (from Spain), The Skints (from England), Red Soul Community (from Spain), The Prizefighters (from Minnesota), Green Torrejas (skinhead reggae from Argentina). These are some current ones to wet your whistle.
1:30 World Burns to Death have a horrible reputation. Drug addicts and they have screwed over other bands from receiving payment. Idk how they are holding up these days.

Yeah it does. We had a personal experience along with other touring bands. But I hope it’s not a thing with them anymore. I can only hope people do better, no grudges here.
