It’s sad but yes, I know a person who married her husband just to compete with other women who were able to build a happy family. Because of that she overly controls him, manipulates him, forced him to have a child with her, and now he doesn’t even function as he used to anymore. He’s so beaten down mentally and emotionally. It’s not good to watch as you know she only married him out of her selfishness but doesn’t love or cherish him.
