one of the greatest things about Buckethead us that his shows are only $20-$30......when other known musicians are $50 and most are much more! Buckethead rocks....got to see him
The little, but unique things like the kill switch offering and the passing out of toys is the kind of stuff that turns regular fans into superfans of Buckethead. The closeness of B.H. to his audience (which is ironic because of wearing a mask and being mute) is something that you don't get much of elsewhere. A very personable cool dude.
07/10/16, Just saw him last night in Portland. For not having toured in a few years, It's been basically two months later. Oh my GOD. He was just so ON. You just can't help yourself you have to let go and hold on for the ride. Just F'n Incredible skill on display.
Soothsayer was incredible..... just incredible LOVE IT LOVE IT Some of the best guitar work i have ever seen!!!!! New to your music but already hooked.
Just browsing Buckethead videos today and came across this one, and I wanted to say that this was an awesome show that my friend and I went to! Now my dad, wife, best friend and I are gonna go to another Buckethead show this Dec 10 in six days which is going to be at the same spot in San Diego, CA again. It's gonna be epic and a pleasure as always!
Buckethead - the guitar Da Vinci of this generation. What is the sign a person is an artist? He’s an artist when he takes all the gadgets- the pedals, The amp, the guitar - and makes music. In the hands of a typical shredder, it would have been just that: shred. Buckethead on the other hand, paints masterpieces with his instrument. And he’s a genius because he knows how to color his songs with a variety of genres. Just listen to the second song: it’s prog rock/funk/blues/shred all thrown into one.
I'm glad axl had him join his group..or I would not have found bucket...soooo glad I did..he mesmerizes m ed with his pl aww ying..heart an soul in It..cant get enough..The best
thanks for posting this up. I went to the Park West show in Chicago. it was great but cut short due to tech issues. he just bailed out and left us. hopefully he will come back again soon.
Hey DoubleAdaFool, GREAT video, quality of pic and sound. I've added to my Bucket List (yeah, that's what I call it), which I don't do for a lot of his live stuff, but this is top notch quality all around. Quality so good, looks like he's playing in my living room. Appreciate.
Dude rad!!! Thanks for the upload! My dad and I are super stoked you were able to film this show in it's entirety. Thank you for the great camera work as well.
man this guy is awesome, and talk about mixin' it up! I heard some Hendrix and some Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory songs in there, I shit you not!
Ok im 9 min in...great footage...im blown away...discovered bucket bout 10 years ago maybe more like 15ish...albino slug just came out i think anyways...listen to him almost everyday...still hear new stuff...and this maybe best upclose footage ive seen of him...ty who ever filmed this...im blown away how effortlessly he plays...
Wow he's changed his style..I like early buckethead too, 90s early 2000 was a trippy time. I guess even with a bucket on ya head ya grow up abit. Its great I love it. The frank zappa poster child lol..
i loved this version of soothsayer.how he uses the supershifter.im sure he uses a multi effect pedal by a different name.guitarists u kno wat im talkn bout tho
All you need to know if this guy is really someone else is what their hands look like because his are gigantic and very distinct. If you've seen them before you wouldn't miss them on anyone else, unique by definition.
Jesus, I didn't know he played a bigger guitar! Although doesn't his guitar have a ton of extra frets? I guess that might necessitate a bigger guitar. edit: his signature model has 24 frets actually. I guess its just because the dude's huge, then!
24 frets are pretty standard these days on guitars, Buckethead's guitar is 27" scale length (almost baritone scale length) Where as most guitars are 25.5" or 24.75" Look for a pic on the net of his LP compared to standard one, lol its huge.

I love his virtuosity. I love Rock, metal, blues. he does it all!!! He is a REAL talent. we got snubbed this tour. I live in Kentucky and totally respect him. he should be huge. especially after watching his Zeppelin medly. he's for real. not here or Tennessee this tour. if anyone knows him please tell him to come!!! he has fans everywhere!!!
1:01:24 During "Buckethead's Toy Store" sounds like his guitar says "What do ya waant?? Anything that ya like " Maybe I'm just looking too into it lol.
This version of soothsayer has one of if not THE best live hard rock/metal solos....I have ever heard....he doesn't miss a note... incredible
He makes the world a better place
Andrew Ceyton I'm fully convinced he's a real life super hero.
An inspiration to us all...
100% accurate!
one of the greatest things about Buckethead us that his shows are only $20-$30......when other known musicians are $50 and most are much more! Buckethead rocks....got to see him
can't wait to see him live.
Amazing. It's not the fast playing that impresses me. It's the complex rythems, timing and unique and creative use of effects. He's a genius.
yep to me i hear so many styles of alot of the legendz however hes to me takes best of them and combines them into his own style
His use of effects is really nice, I recommend a recent album he made ''Through the Looking Garden''.
Exactly
@@holliswilliams8426 that’s my favorite
Man, how did I miss this guy? His guitar work is flawless and his sounds are crazy good.

Arika Lee Don't worry, basically no one else has seen it either lol.
@@AxiomApe Queen bassist John Deacon is one of the very few people who is allowed to see Buckethead’s face. 🎭🎨🥁🎸
@@AxiomApe Buckethead has short platinum blonde hair under his long dark curly wig.

He is still alive.
Shaoqian Djang God. God is still alive.
great!! but seriously, you need an award man for daily touring
I'd 'like' this a thousand times if I could. Many thanks for the upload.
I felt my musical soul turn on at Woodstock. Then it died with Johhny Winter. Now, BH has ressurected it. Beyond Buckethead, there are no others...
He has so much energy here, looks pretty nice)
Wire down the truss rod another kill switch on the head stock. Even more options. Really enjoyed watching this vid. Thank you very much

Portland 7/9..so freakin' pumped!
Buckethead is way beyond Hendrix ..... awesome
pompom906 you cant just compare buckethead and jimi
They're nothing alike
I love Bucket too but that's not really a fair comparison since there have been nearly fifty years of guitar playing evolution since Hendrix died.
If nothing else, there's always that great conversation
melhor guitarrista do mundo na minha opiniao na moral !!!!
