I've seen Page, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani, Van Halen, Gilmore, and a bunch of others. How the hell did I miss Buckethead!! Only discovered him a month ago! I have a lot of catching up to do! Haven't been this excited over music in a long time! Thank you Buckethead!!
I don’t know how you missed this legend. But yea he’s a diamond 💎. Favorite album probably population override, but he’s written and collaborated so much… it’s hard to pick just one. (Too many humans). Check out animals as leaders and plink, amongst the rest in that universe. Many blessings dude
@@jgill_24 Technical player?? I guess you have never even touched a Guitar in your entire life. His music is literally the epitome of Soulful music. Listen to him more to know about him. His music isn't only greatly composed but also full of emotions.
@@jgill_24 Ok I grew up listening to Mozart, Bach, Beethoven very often and other greats. I've been extremely passionate about music my whole life and I play 4 instruments. Buckethead is the same level of genius if not more so.
3:04 Can we appreciate how smoothly he transitioned from playing with his pick, to slapping his guitar, then back to pick. I know he’s buckethead.. but he didn’t have to do it so steezy
This performance has a little of EVERYTHING! Hard rock, funk, blues, beastly dark tones, awesome killswitches, and groovy slapping. An excellent sampling of BHs abilities, and I've probably overlooked some subtle skills and techniques!
At 4:56 When starting to use the killswitch, having to hide the pick in the hand, and then a few seconds later, strumming with the nails before getting the pick out to the fingers.. If it wasn't because paying attention to the very thing, it wouldn't be noticeable. Incredible with a palm that can hold an entire sandwich
If you were to build a giant robot that liked nun-chucks, martial arts movies and could master and innovate anything guitar, it would be Buckethead. I know he will never read this but THANK YOU Buckethead, your music is helping me through an exceptionally difficult part of my life right now.
1:09 I've never seen a 1080° guitar solo before. Buckethead is like the trickshotter of guitarists. He also apparently doesn't need a face to be one of the most expressive players I've ever seen.
@Nick Martin I hope he tours next year. My poor deprived bitch ass only just discovered him a month or so ago after he was no longer touring anywhere near me.
The ‘pick slip trick’ at 3:04 is so quick and smooth…Buckethead is probably the most technical guitarist ever. One of these days, hopefully, the planets will align so I have a chance to see him live!
This is the most incredible 6 and a half minutes of pure live funk I’ve seen…and I’ve been to Prince, George Clinton and James Brown concerns. Fkn amazing footage, Buckethead absolutely on fire
When you play that great you don’t have to worry about people stealing your songs and remix they can’t he’s Friggen the best I’ve seen and I just now hooked into his music abs I’m like where have I been I love straight up guitar and Hendrix was my favorite but I’m not believing how great this is I love it keep it up buckethead your awesome
about 1:08, I have not seen the " wounded Frankenstein " walk since Catholic elementary school - ONLY the tallest kids could accomplish this with the style & authority of Boris Karloff . Buckets Off to BUCKETHEAD
The look on his face while he plays makes it obvious he loves what he’s doing.

What were they truly thinking hardly ever see him on any list of best guitarest
buckethead looks so happy
yes he does
malher inca peche
You can tell by his expression
I bet he's smiling behind the mask.
Yeeey!
@@KidaMilo89 Nah, the only thing behind the mask is another mask of a Martian head. Ozzy Osbourne saw it once, I heard...
I know every word to every one of his songs .
"We Are One" too?
If you know every note, I'll be really impressed.
Buckethead is a modern day Mozart worthy of comparisons to composers of days past.

Mozart a composer who farted often , Andrew Lloyd Webber a fart that composed Often

Okay he's a great rock player but he's not Beethoven. It's unfair to compare rock to orchestral anyway

Insanity.
I noticed that was smooth as mash potatoe
I just watched this and I’m still gonna make my own comment…so smooth and you have to really focus to see him do it lol
this is the best gory head stump live performance vid i've seen
I agree !!! ❤
It's my favourite, it looks like he's enjoying it really well ♥️
I mean, it's buckethead, what were you expecting?
Ya man but ill give 99.99% for this version.. he dint take out the saw and dint do the chuck 😅😅😅

The man doesn't play the guitar... he is a guitar
He can play anything the 'greats' play - but none can play like BH. more feeling put into his music than anyone I've ever listened to.
Agree 💯 percent
He went absolutely crazy this performance, like wtf. HOW. DOES. HE. DO. IT.

True. The complexity, the musicality, the creativity and the feeling... It's just mind blowing!
His face says it all
Buckethead is from another planet 👽
Buckethead sounds awesome in every language
my favourite one is wabababbaububububbaubau bau bau

Wow.... just... wow, what a great journey he takes us on through just 6 minutes....
Dude, his tapping is so clear and awesome
The "like" button is just not sufficient to show how much I truly enjoy this song!
Pretty slick at the 5:00 mark where he flips the pick up into his hand, and holds it with his thumb, while he hits the kill switch.

The Mighty Buckethead 😎🎸!!!!!!!!
One of my favorites. Brian's skills are off the charts.
I love this and I love the Colonel love the bucket slaw for all 🎸
This is easily my favorite Buckethead video online. Yet... I still feel... There could have been... MORE ROBOT.
How many hours does a guy have to spend with a guitar in his hands to do that?
Now consider he comes up with that unique material too.
plus being able to play all of that without looking lol, but then again hes been playing that song for many many many years now.
326,752 hours. It also helps to be 6'7, with freakishly long fingers.
