Remastered from the original tapes and featuring rare and unreleased songs, plus the legendary Mustique Demos. The previously unheard Mustique demos were recorded by Noel Gallagher and producer Owen Morris on the Caribbean island in 1996.
This year marks 25 years since Oasis' iconic third album 'Be Here Now' was released and limited-edition collectors formats are available now to celebrate the anniversary. New formats include a double silver coloured LP on heavyweight vinyl, plus a picture disc, cassette and merch bundles exclusively available on the official store.

Oasis really were the dogs ballocks. They were the biggest band in the world at this point and it shows. I wasn't old enough to be at Knebworth but the legend spread like wild fire amongst us. They need to release a DVD of this concert. Not a half assed make do edition. A full HD, No bullshit documentary box of one of Oasis' truly greatest achievements.
Man, England is not the world; America is way bigger than England. Oasis always likes to say they were the biggest band in the world, and I can see why they had that impression with a massive concert like Knebworth; As the biggest Oasis fan (I knew) in America at the time though, I can definitively tell you they were not close to the biggest band in America; They had loads of momentum off Morning Glory (they were trendy - ppl were checking them out), but they imploded before really achieving the massive, pervasive success of a U2 or others with stuff like Liam bailing on MTV Unplugged, Liam canceling a US tour cuz he needed to go house hunting, etc; Be Here Now didn't even debut at #1 in America; It wasn't long after this that it actually became embarrassing to admit you were an Oasis fan in America, b/c there was such a backlash against Liam's asshole-ness; It would have been cool to be in England during this period though for sure.
+Eric Beck and in response, America is not the world either. Outside of America, the band were fucking massive. The U.S were never going to like Oasis much anyway. Far too outspoken and self assured for that to happen. And I'm glad they never fully broke over there. Because to do that Liam and Noel would have had to play the game, shake hands and kiss ass, and thankfully they didn't and never would have done that. Still 10 million albums sold in the U.S still isn't bad.
Yeah, but you can't say Oasis was the biggest band in the world. As I stated, I know how dominant they were in England - I knew it at that time. And I know they were popular elsewhere. But you can't say a band is the biggest band in the world if they weren't close to the top in America. That's just the way it is - regardless of whether that's offensive to other countries. And 90% of my favorite bands are British.
Eric Beck fair enough. I disagree but we'll leave it that. Whether they were the biggest band in the world or not, they were certainly the best band in the world at that time. Untouchable IMO.

Wednesday 10th August 2016 and I'm now 37, Saturday 10th August 1996 and I was an excited 17 year old waiting to see the best band in the world play the first of two generation defining gigs. So 20 years to the day I thought I would go back to Knebworth and reminisce, I sat in the car overlooking the site where the stage and the crowd were and played my Knebworth bootleg bought from back in 96, I could almost visualise the lads on stage again and being that excited kid I was wearing my Knebworth t-shirt. 20 years on I'm now the Father of 3 and I've lost most of my hair, you can't have it all eh.

All through the 90's I was getting off my face in raves, I never knew or heard any bands from that decade as dance music was my entire life. Now the dance music is gone, I'm 46, 4 kids, hate any form of dance music and trying to catch up on a lost decade but.....I still have all my hair. I reckon you did better arkid. :-)

Liam was the king of the world at that time, what a voice !
People need to stop picking small bits and bobs on Liam's voice, who cares overall his voice was exceptional, just listen to the rawness and power he projects.
In live performances he'd always give his heart and soul full of energy and passion, singing at the top of his lungs, which eventually lead to the downfall of his voice.
We never sometimes truly appreciate him of how much he contributed to the band, he wasn't just the voice but THE VOICE of the 90s that made a huge impact to the generation.

I love how they don’t have a bunch of click tracks trying to replicate the album and the songs can simply be played live because the songwriting is so good and their sound isn’t dependent on a bunch of production.

these shows have become that same watershed moment spike island would have been for stone roses fans and maybe more epic and grandiose. i don't think the band would have realized then as much as the throngs of those who attended.
A few years i think around the time of be here now remastered they were on about releasing knebworth, they should release it as a double cd, dvd, blu ray, would be ace.

Shouldn't there be some sort of Knebworth release this year - newly mastered DVD perhaps? This sounds great and has obviously been nicely touched up! Shame they didn't use the bloody concord version though!
Yeah of course - and that will be great I'm sure. But it's a documentary that tells the story up to Knebworth, and while I'm sure there will be lots of footage, I assumed they would also issue the entire Knebworth concert as a stand-alone release. Maybe it will come with the Supersonic DVD / blu-ray...
Oasis have been nominated to get inducted into this year's Class of 2024 Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. If they do get inducted, Liam and Noel, along with Bonehead, Guigsy, and Alan need to reunite for a performance of My Big Mouth.
