I've always gotten confused of the alphabet soup names, I knew which the MKZ is but was confused on the MKC & MKX. I'm glad Lincoln is slowly going back to actual worded names.
I got a off leased 2017 mkx and its loaded . original price 57,000 . I paid 26,000 after my trade in . it drives beautifully it is a luxury car . an off lease are great with low milage
Off Lease means a car that was previously leased usually in pristine condition for way less money than new and certified most of the time. One of the best way to buy cars in my opinion
Just leased a new 2019 in iced mocha and it's a beauty. Turned in my second MBZ GLE and miss the smooth ride, but, the Lincoln is close. I have every bell and whistle and mine is a reserve. Wayyyy cheaper than the MBZ GLE with way more stuff. We'll see how she did at lease end. Nice video!
I just got a loaded ‘19 Reserve with 16k miles. Has the 22 way seats, the adaptive led headlights and the 19 speaker 1,200 watt stereo. Amazing. I bought for my wife and she loves it, but I find myself asking her an awful lot to let me drive it. The v6 has nice power… but oh my, my classic rock songs sound absolutely amazing. Very nice enjoyable suv for the $44k I spent on it.
In their review of the 2016 MKX which is the same vehicle, the (older) reviewer whined that he could not figure out the center console storage, the foot-operated liftgate and much more. I just bought a 2020 Reserve CPO lease return, they do depreciate quickly. I know it was refreshed in 2021 (I don't like its console with the trans buttons like piano keys all the way across) and for 2024 will be totally redesigned and made in China.
SUVs / CUVS ..Appeal to the older crowd...Easy in-easy out with leg room and cargo carrying ability. I myself own 2 and would never purchase another sedan for the above reasons.
That 2.7 turbo is nice, but no way should the Ford escapes 2.0 liter be the entry level engine on this much larger suv. They should at least give it the 2.3 turbo as an entry level engine.
Doesn't quite have the appeal of a X5 or GLE but you might be able to get good lease deals on one. You have to wonder if Lincoln will abandon the Continental and MKZ now that Ford is no longer building their counterparts.
I wouldn't have said this 2 years ago but I really think the new Lincoln's are fantastic and have a large emphasis being put on material quality and drive train. The only American vehicles I'd ever own. Cadillac and anything for the Chrysler group is all pure shit with zero quality.
Forgot to add that the car came with everything, literally everything except.....wait for it.....a cargo shade retractable cover! Really Lincoln? seriously spend $12 more and include the cargo shade cover, duh!
With that ambient lighting with different colors and the way the screen and buttons below being well lit at night it might grow on you, eventually. But nonetheless this is my dream car
Dash still looks straight out of am edge. Craptastic Ford plastic. Hate it. Price tagis crazy. I mean $70k is just as much for the Germans and the Germans are much better quality and RWD based. The Aviator and Navigator show what Lincoln needs to do to,be taken seriously. This dash needs to be done like that.
Blake , My wife and I just bought one and it is obvious that you have not looked closely ,in person , at the level of inside trim finish vs. the Ford line. I am totally unfamiliar with the euro brands but this car is a great value from an American Company. Lincoln is definitely back and I have been a GM guy all my life. Thanks , Mike
I own an MKC and it is nothing like the Escape. I also have had MKX loaners and they are much more luxury than Edge Titanium. I also cross shopped Germans before I bought MKC. Would have paid $10k more for a Q5 with similar features. At same price I wasn’t even getting real leather in the Audi. Also no car play or wood trim etc. You also should research German quality. They are notorious for mechanical issues and repairs are usually $$$$.
Lincoln is coming they kill with SUVs, they basically been in the reinventing phase and the aviator shows us that the game is on. Rumors are the new rwd platforms are being developed to underpin sedans and also a rumor of a car to be built on fords electric mustang inspired suv. Hopefully they give the continental what it deserves. Very nice car I’ve driven one as a loaner just missing something.
You know why Demuro gets so many views? His reviews are different and original. The rest of you just plagiarize off each other, sarcastically commenting about the "alphanumeric" naming system and being a dressed up Ford. Try doing something different please.
Hey Ford.......lose the cheap lower grey body cladding and go for one color! And please do something about your drivetrain! Your V6 TT is long in the tooth! Better catch up GM and Chrysler!
This! And, improve on the cheapy visor. It's kind of weird. Last, for all the bells and whistles the Nautilus has that are standard, include the damn cargo shade cover, duh!
Doubt you would get Q7 at that price with comparable equipment. You pay the German premium for no reason other than name. Because it sure as hell isn’t for quality.
AGGH! Why is the Ford Motor company in the habit of renaming its vehicles? Ford Taurus, then 500, then Taurus. Now this. Terrible planning. Terrible execution.
"I don't like SUVs", says the sloppily dressed, looking like a 19yr college student, boringly droning on about a vehicle clearly in no way in his wheelhouse, price-range, or taste. Its a vehicle aimed at high income, older consumers with particular tastes, so why not present it that way, or get an appropriate presenter. Not to mention the awful audio quality, and listing the vehicle as a 4-cylinder. Seriously "Clifford" Atiyeh and Cargurus, this is piss poor production quality.
It reminds ME of a Ford: - annoying gear shifting column - Did I see a - humungous center console that it way too tall and wide. One can't even move their right leg to the right and relax while on cruise control. This is a bad design being imitated by multiple car brands. Positive: A genuine radio volume knob and tuning knob (observe this Honda) Sorry Ford. Try again.
@@N-Scale No argument there. Just when Lexus, Acura and Infiniti fans (it is 99% Lexus fans that seem full of themselves) ignore the roots of their cars while bashing US companies for doing the same thing.

one of the nicest looking suv’s out there. But that depreciation is killer. Wait 2 years and get a low milege lease.
You can drive a car and enjoy it or constantly remorse over loosing money on a vehicle. I choose to buy and enjoy.
Thanks , Mike
Definitely a great "CPO" car like new, save thousands.
Remember that if everybody waits two years for a good deal, there will be no good deals as there will not be any Nautilus built or sold.

guys you listed the 2.7 as a I4 turbo its a v6
saw one yesterday, absolutely gorgeous. those talking about trade in value, i will only buy because i want to keep
what is name of the background music at 1:15, can anyone help?
I like Lincon...
No American carmaker is making any real luxury car... Lincoln can take this segment
Definitely a throw down with Cadillac. Always a good thing.
Nice but I require an infotainment system that is capable of flushing all the toilets in my vacation homes simultaneously.
I'm digging the background music.
Nice review
Nice Suv
Good to see the American manufacturers staying competitive.
It is not American, it is Canadian.
Any musicians out there? What was the music played between the times 0.58 to 1:32? Nice relaxing tune.
The background music though...
Wow I was in love with MDX until I meet you. This vehicle is beautiful looking.
1:49 ur joking right and i know this one is the black label
Great review.
That color is so pretty and that is a nice suv

Great review, spot on
for 45k this seems like an amazing value
Love my 2019 reserve!
Im pretty sure when you showed the trims, you listed the 2.7T as an I4 instead of a V6
Yeah that was a typo in the graphic lol
is this car good for off road ?
SUVs / CUVS ..Appeal to the older crowd...Easy in-easy out with leg room and cargo carrying ability. I myself own 2 and would never purchase another sedan for the above reasons.
Bextar636 they appeal to everyone that's why they sell well
They appeal to the older and younger crowds and the sales prove it.
They should call the MKZ....Zephyr cause That is what they used to call it
this looks like the previous MKX, with a face lift and some minor changes
.. Infiniti QX50 was voted the best interior by many reviewers this year. I would like to see your comparison on video.
jarfors I have been inside the QX 50 it’s gorgeous the Nautilis doesn’t even compare
Build quality that you X 50 puts the longest to shame exterior design much nicer on the QX 50 for a lot less money
Sorry for the miss spelling

I can remember all of the MK names without any problem but I love the new name
I honestly can't. Never could follow it. I somehow understood Infiniti horrible naming structure better. I'm happy Lincoln is using names now
The Slow Lane I am I’m planning to be a car designer when I graduate 🎓 😂
Cadillac never gets slammed for the CT names.

Good looking exterior. But that interior desperately needs a redo
Interior is beautiful. Ambient lighting, pretty colors, leather seating. What's not to love?
Brilliant
Lincoln needs to upgrade the interior to the aviator and navigator design. This looks incredibly old and cheap. It also needs to be rwd.
Forgot to add that the car came with everything, literally everything except.....wait for it.....a cargo shade retractable cover! Really Lincoln? seriously spend $12 more and include the cargo shade cover, duh!
you can get a nicely equipped Porsche Macan for $67K that drives a whole lot better
MiroBG Macan is smaller than this. Cayenne is more in this class. MKC is same size as Macan- which is much more expensive than that one.
You are 100 percent wrong. You should buy Lincoln. No luxury vehicle is better then Lincoln. Lincoln has great driving dynamics.
@@josephdan2850 😅. You've obviously never driven a Macan
@@MiroBG359 you need to buy Lincoln because it is great and reliable division.

in 2 years it'll be 30k

Lincoln cheaped our on this interior design wise. With what the aviator is getting, this just looks really sad.
