Thanks for the in detail information! I decided to keep my 2016 MKX Reserve, I looked at a nautilus Black Label, reserve, and select. The Nautilus was identical to me when driving it, and I prefer the 3.7 V6. I was disappointed when I found out the only options were turbocharged engines. The “angel wing” front end looks better in my opinion, and new transmissions drive me nuts with more then 6 gears. The front of new Lincoln’s look weird in my opinion, I call it a chrome mustache lol
I like the idea Lincoln came up with is the cordless phone charger especially if its standard equipment on all trim levels. The other feature I like is the welcome mat with the Lincoln Star logo which illuminates on ground at both front doors.
Seems like they're keeping up with most of the tech, but they need to bring the interior up to the rest of the Lincoln lineup. It should have the larger infotainment screen and the piano key trans selector by now like all of the other models. It also should have the 2.7 as the base engine and the 3.0 as the optional engine.

I bought a 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, Black Label...and yes, it is a very nice vehicle. HOWEVER, it did NOT come with "adaptive cruise control" , just regular cruise control, which I discovered after I bought the vehicle...disappointing! I couldn't understand why not on such a luxurious vehicle. Also, my Nautilus has NO "automatic stop feature" if another vehicle is coming from your side back...why not?? Again, I didn't find out about these omissions until AFTER I purchased the vehicle...to the tune of $63K,...YES!!...that much!! Lesson learned: Have a checklist of questions for your salesperson, and then you make your decision if you want to buy it. A lot of sales "professionals" will tell you anything...or "forget" to...to get you to buy that vehicle. Remember, their money depends on your signature.
I would only add the following: (1) The Auto Stop/Start button to allow you to disable that feature (if anyone could call it that), (2) maybe compare the 0-60 times for the MKX/Nautilus since they have a different tranny (for 2.7T only), show the spare tire compartment and what the cargo packages (2 of them) offer, (3) reclining rear seats that are also heated (in Reserve trim), (4) how the AWD works (how the Nautilus distributes the power). I could list a lot more, but only making a couple of suggestions that apply to what I look for. Great review. I plan to make the Nautilus my next vehicle unless something changes my mind. I am a little curious as to why Lincoln changed the tranny from 8-speed to 9-speed after 1 year now that the 2020 is available. It makes me think the 8-speed was not that good or Lincoln experienced too many issues with it. Anyone know or have a guess about this???
I have been breathing reviews for suv and crossovers for 3 months now.. I can't take my eyes off the lincoln's specifically mkx 😍 just wish it held its value better!!

Love your videos. A tip. Drop the cameraman and film it yourself, look at shmee150 and others, it’s more personal and you will look more coordinated. And if you want to stand in front like at the end, buy a tripod.
I actually prefer the winged grill on this 2018 MKX over that 2019. The 2024 grill is the best on the Nautilus. The 2019 looks like a heap of chromed plastic. The 3.7 is going to be better in maintenance and reliability overall. The 2.7 and 2.0 are great motors too, just require more maintenance and reliability isn't as good as the natural aspirated 3.7. Most times simplicity is what carries longevity over complicated designs. Love Lincoln and think they are the best American luxury car manufacturer ✌🏽❤️
Very interesting because my dad had a mkx but I couldn't watch the video because you could see something on your leg from the😮It looks very big side which could be distracting.
I'm so confused. Currently trying to decide between a MKX Reserve and a Nautilus Select. I love the way the Nautilus looks on the outside but I would be losing navigation, 360 view camera, cooled seats and sunroof if I go with the Nautilus. It seems like the MKX is the way to go but I can't get past how good that new grill looks 😭 $45 is my cap so I can't get a Nautilus Reserve

The Gala theme is actually a dark red not a dark pink. Idk why he said that lol. It looks like a wine red or a burgundy/ maroon. Something along those lines
They just dropped the 2.7 Twin Turbo in the Nautilus. Thats the engine you want if you're shopping used. They added a HYbrid option but its still making less power than the 2.7. Thats a disappointment.
The only thing Lincoln is doing wrong with their new models, is the huge rims they're adding with no sidewall. Lincoln needs to understand this will limit the number of customers.
I agree and I look at that. Lincoln's option for the 21's has something like a 45 sidewall, whereas the 20's have a 50 I think, and the 18's have a 60 I think. I'm pretty sure that someone indicated that the 21's made the Nautilus ride like a pickup truck, and most people do not want that.

Oops - my bad. The 2020 tranny is still an 8-speed. Not sure where I got that from. (maybe the Cadillac XT5 for 2020).

Lincoln went down 53 hp. in the base engine, saved alot of money and raised the price significantly.
and when you have turbocharger, it is much harder on the engine!

Those dials arent mechanical on the MKX. 3:30 The numbers are fixed but the actual indicators are screen created.
